You can totally say no to my suggestion but I think it would be cool to add native nations to the Americas and add a mechanic where territories have to settle their land without angering the natives, there could be decisions like "arm the settlers" where it would add 10% tension and increase integration by 20%, or maybe have random events that happen from time to time that would have the same effects but there are multiples choices, this way it prevent the usa from being too repetitive, in the end maybe there could be decisions that the usa can do to focus more on expansion rather than economic growth ( like a balance of power where the more you go expansion the more civs it costs), again you can just say no to my suggestions and good luck with your mod

Yeah understandable lol then maybe you can instead add local effects like ressources manpower -100% or less in some areas to show that it’s not really colonized at all
