    Hi Andrea, you grafted that two branches on the large basal wound counterflow; is there a particular reason to do that? Intuitively I would do that following the normal sap flow, from the base/roots to the upper part of the trunk.

      Interesting observation. Maybe when the callous tissue forms and spreads it corrects itself?

    • @Hiryuen-bonsai-eng
      @Hiryuen-bonsai-eng  Před 7 měsíci +2

      That's a good question😉
      It makes all the difference about how the callous tissue forms and spreads later.
      In this way the callous makes faster to grow in the direction of the wound👍

    Unreal work brother that’s gona be an amazing payoff in the end for sure. What I find hardest about bonsai is just letting the tree grow and not having it look perfect all the time for the better future of the tree. Patience is a virtue. Thanks for another great video i learned a lot from it

    Amazing work. I love to watch these videos. I look forward to these videos a lot. It’s good to see this type of skills being applied for deciduous bonsai in a English language. I often watch alot of Japanese videos and some have English sub titles. But it’s much better being about to understand what is being said and able to focus on the task at hand. . I have a standard momiji that I’m going to be grafting deshojo leaf to the whole tree. I look forward to when you make a video showing how to do that

    Molto bello. Andrea quando fai graft per approssimazione come nel caso sulla sinistra del l'acero scortecci il rametto o no?

    • @Hiryuen-bonsai-eng
      @Hiryuen-bonsai-eng  Před 7 měsíci

      Grazie!
      non serve scortecciare, se fatto bene l'innesto i tessuti si fondono dasoli assieme senza il bisogno di scortecciare il punto di contatto

  • @lucaribolla

    Pianta veramente fantastica! Una domanda, vedendo il video precedente ho notato che questa pianta così di valore, era tenuta dal precedente proprietario in un "vasaccio" da poco, stretto ed alto, perché? Mi sembra assurdo no?

    • @Hiryuen-bonsai-eng
      @Hiryuen-bonsai-eng  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Già davvero assurdo, infatti tu pensa che lo scartamento alla base è stato causato dalla potatura esagerata che era stata fatta per riuscire a farlo entrare nel vaso così stretto come diametro rispetto alla base..

    hi, nice videos man!
    why is so important that oposite branch? it is better to make big cuts now instead of spring time? i know acers will bleed on spring, but for other decidius is the same?
