- Following my decade in film video of the 2010s, a lot of people asked for me to make more videos highlighting film in different decades. This is the first of that continuing series -- the Movies of the 2000s. I'm currently working on a list of timestamps for everyone to reference, but for now I have a full list of all the movies that appear in some shape or form throughout the video. You can find that list at the bottom of this description after the song credits! Thank you all so much! Let me know what you think, and what you'd like to see me make next!
Song credits:
Aline - Christophe
Paint it Black - Sebastian Bohm Cover
The Hanging Tree (Hunger Games Soundtrack) - James Newton Howard & Jennifer Lawrence
Russian Spring - Audiomachine
Ain't No Mountain High - Marvin Gaye & Terri Terrell
Ain't No Mountain High - Diana Ross
Hurt - Johnny Cash
House of the Rising Sun - Audiomachine
Inglorious Basterds Theme - Ennio Morricone
EDIT: I unintentionally used a clip (“push the goddamn button!”) from the first Rush Hour (1998) thinking that it was from Rush Hour 3 (2007). All the other Rush Hour clips are from RH3. Apologies for that mixup!

The last great decade for cinema! A time that will forever be in my hearth, a time i will never forget!
Why you gotta make me cry like that man. I had to stop watching after 11 minutes. It got hard to breathe. Lots of nostalgia in those clips.

@@eggproductions_ thats so nice to hear! I hope your filmmaking goes well :-)
looking forward to 80s and 90s!
Man, this is art. A perfect blend of great music and soundtracks with the films that marked the decade. I felt very connected with the video from the decade of 2010, but seeing that now, I understand that you can keep me connect with many films that I haven't even watched. Good job 👏👏
thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked both!

@@CallMeSewer very welcome! You're really good at these. The editing is awesome. You've got a good eye for good movie scenes.
absolute class
These are so well made. Can you do one for tv dramas in the 2000s?
Just discovered your channel.... outstanding work....
Really surpised that most of your videos don't have millions of views.
Glad your enjoying the videos! And thank you for the kind words, maybe one day haha
Fantastique, je viens de regarder un paquet de tes vidéos et été contraint de toutes les liker...
Tu viens de gagner un abonné
Merci pour ces frissons !
impeccable. well done :)

Love it 🥺💕
The mashup of what I believe is Ramin's Paint it black and Junkie's drums from Fury Road got me so pumped
Please do a video on television dramas from the 2000s! I’m sure you’d do a wonderful job of it.
bruh i CANNOT W YOU AND YOUR TALENT
Logan Cox hahahah thank you!
THIS IS GREAT!!!!! it's a perfect mashup and an amazing video, you never stop to surprise us
Yeah maybe next time you can try to use only music from that decade, for example not the hunger games song, but this is a little mistake in a big fantastic work
noted! and thank you for taking the time to watch!
@@CallMeSewer always a pleasure to see videos like yours
SOOOO GOOD. I APPLAUD YOU SIR.
thank you!!
amazing bro
thank you!
So so so impressive
Early 2000s are the best ever!
10:40 did anyone shit themselves, great edit once again you should have more subscribers you are amazing at this 👍
hahaha! and thank you so much, I appreciate the kind words :)
CallMeSewer keep up the good work 👍
Man, I love cinema.
Great edit! How you are doing this? Are you remember all those moments from the movies, or you have some place where you can find them?
Thanks! And for the most part I remember quite a few of the moments I want to include, and then from there I do some research on what other movies people enjoyed that I may not have immediately remembered! So a mix of what I know and what others can tell me :)
This is absolutely fantastic! Do you know what font is that for the end credits? It looks great
Yep! It's called Lemon Milk :)
I beg you please make one of these for telly in the 2000s.
you kill it every. single. time.
thank you so much! I appreciate the support
12:57 The Golden Compass (Just pointed it out, because it didn't appear in the description)
Great video, whose cover of house of the rising run was that?
angus smith audiomachine!
2000s and 2010s both had amazing movies
And shitty movies as well.
Woow no words
Awesome video! One question, where do you get the videos and how do deal with copyright claims?
I get the videos from a mix of Hd-trailers.net and ripping them through torrents and CZcams. Copyright for me is really just accepting that I can’t monetize any of these videos, and the rare occurrence of when a song is blocked worldwide due to copyright.
CallMeSewer thank you so much!! Too bad you can’t monetize your beautiful content, 👏🏻
My childhood
How do you find the high quality footage of all these films? I want to make some retrospective montage esque films but I don’t know how I can get the footage from all the films I want to use especially ones that might be more obscure and harder to find

Great bloody work mate! but Rush Hour is from 1998 though :p
I know 😖😖😭 for some reason I thought it was from rush hour 2 and didn’t even check twice lol. Taught me to go back and double check that’s for sure haha
That's ok what's important is the message. A damn son! Message well received!
@@tarekmallo4434 haha cheers, im glad you liked it!
How do you find your clips? Because there’s so many from random scenes in great movies, do you literally just pick a movie and find a scene that works or is there something else?
Lol it’s a bit random tbf! For these decade videos, I like to start out with several lists from established publications (100 best movies of the 2000s, 100 most underrated movies from the 2000s, etc etc) and then I go through those lists and get scenes from each movie in the list (or use the trailer for the movie, but that’s much harder for these older movies that have horrible trailers). It takes a while to find scenes that work for the edit, and inevitably a ton of stuff gets left on the cutting room floor. A lot of it is just about how it feels playing back. I hope that answered your question!
The only thing I'm mad about Is that Why isnt their enough Views?
No Two Towers scenes made me feel sad
The 2000s was the last good decade for movies, before the superhero/remakes/reboots took over
Watching the 2010 version proves just how wrong you are
@@aaliyahstark7948 a matter of opinion, who are you to say I’m wrong?, I don’t see endless marvel films as being the peak of films quite frankly
Time stamps for each film please. Thanks.
Is there a list of every film featured??
