For a profile like a quad or zuperior wouldnt the different zones blend a lot with manual hand sharpening? Would an automated machine with even pressure make the profile last longer?

So yes and no! We like to recommend getting your blades profiled every 3 months. That way you can keep the profile consistent in the blade. If you get your skates sharpened by someone who knows how to do it properly the profile will stay intact through the blade within that time frame!

Can you change the profile on the same set of steel, sat from zuperior to quad?

Yes, you can change it! That’s one of the best parts about the pro sharp machine you’re never stuck with one profile. You can always change them up!
