Here's the full explanation! #YIAYflag The flag is in 4:3 aspect ratio because 4x3 = 12, which is in reference to the fact that this year is technically 2012.
The left side of the flag is red and blue, representing how this is just another American disaster movie. The blue is a triangle because it cuts the red in half, showing the political divide of America.
The right side is mostly gray, representing how bleak this entire year has been, and all of the stars represent all of the disasters of 2020.
The one with 3 points represents WWIII, the one with 7 represents the Australia forest fires, the one with 10 represents covid (due to looking like the virus itself), the one with 5 represents Kim Jong Un's death fakeout, the one with 6 represents murder hornets (because hornets have six limbs), and finally, the inverted five point star represents the death of George Floyd, who died on May 25th.
