  • In this video I modify an ATV Snowplow to attach to the Front End Loader of our Ford LGT 145.
    A snowplow performs much better than the Loader bucket, and with this set up I can quickly go from manure duty to snow duty and back again.

    love these folks. I can't help but support the "small people" when I am putting together my projects. I have a JD 110, which Norman has none l, and he has helped immensely. PM if you have any questions, but I buy my stuff through Norman from now on. We are not related, and are not friends l, and this is an honest post.

    Great job on the plow modification. I wish I could see what it looks like right where you put the bucket down to hook it up to the tractor. Thanks for sharing.

    Great Video!!! I fabricated almost the exact setup. I have a 25hp Mahindra. The only thing I did different was cross my straps in an X pattern. It helped the plow from sliding side to side on the bucket cutting edge. Keep up the good work. WELD ON!!!!

    no good, I done this on one of our tractors, with the plow way out there, it puts a lot of extra strain on the hydraulics and bucket., every inch out multiplies the weight.

    That's really great but why not just attach the snow plow to your existing 4 wheeler and be done with it???

      @Isavetractors  Před 7 lety +2

      I will do that. Honestly though I have only installed it once then I left it there! I will get some practice and figure out an easy way to teach it on video.

    Norman- I built this bracket, mostly to practice my infantile welding skills, I've only been welding for a couple years and never have enough time to practice. Love your advice re: cleaning after every weld. One question- I see you spraying something from an aerosol can, what is that and why? Thanks! Scott

      Weld Kleen Anti Spatter Spray. It prevents the little spatter bebes from sticking.

    I didn't see tractor hood opened during the welding. Did you disconnect the tractor battery whilst welding to the FEL?

    Do you find that when you angle the plow it puts side pressure onto the loader arms, causing them to twist?

    Norman is I can ask why would you use a snow plow and the the front end bucket. I love your channel

      @Isavetractors  Před 6 lety +1

      It makes it quicker and easier to plow snow, without having to dump the FEL bucket constantly, and I get a wider working width. Thanks for watching!

    Hey I have a question regarding wiring lights. My lgt 100 doesn't have any lights but I want to have at least some headlights. Last time I wired lights on a JD L120 it killed the battery and I couldn't figure it out. What's the proper way to wire lights to a garden tractor? Maybe that could be a video?
