I generally consider it to be new player friendly since rerolling is easy and most content is not difficult to complete as long as you keep your expectations in check and properly manage resources.
That said, for anyone looking to pick up the game, this is probably the worst time to do so since the current meta is… not great. I’d recommend waiting until the end of the month for the next meta, honestly.
