The song that made the chord E7#9 popular and it it has become to be called the "Hendrix chord" since then. Of course Hendrix didn't invent the dominant seventh chord with a sharp nine, but before this chord was primarily used in Jazz and was not so popular in rock music.

Really like this version, well done! Although I have to note that this is a different (more complicated) bassline than the one printed in the official Jimi Hendrix Experience book... May I ask where you got/heard this version, or is it your own interpretation?
