Routine Job - WDS6 Shunting Malabar Express At Trivandrum Central (Full HD)

Mangalore - Trivandrum Malabar Express being shunt by a WDS6 at Trivandrum Central.
The sound of alarm when the train reaches a nearby level cross can also be heard.
Trivandrum Central is currently facing space shortage to accommodate all the trains. So some trains are parked at the nearby Kochuveli railway station yard. Proposal for developing Nemom, near Trivandrum central, as a satellite station is under consideration.

@Prakrit Biswas, ofcourse, but rare in the sense, in my childhood, this engines were very common. I saw them quite frequently on the railway near my home. I even saw wds4 "pappu" 2 to 3 times. But now none of them were passing the near by railway. Actually am very eager to hear the specific sound of the wds 6.

@Prakrit Biswas, wow, thats great. The word engine is used since its a layman's language. Me myself call wds6 as "jumbo engine". I don't know whether this a correct name. And there is a special place for this locomotive in my heart. Thanks for the info...

WDS6 can be replaced with WDM3D because there are lots of them available now a days. They are quicker, versatile, more reliable and fuel efficient also.

Lucky 222 no bro WDS 6 isn't rare. WDP1 , WDM6 and WDM7 are the rarest diesel locomotives
