Can make you video Ronaldo s best steporver plz
@@sarqisgriqiryan7664 nope, he's finished
CR is probably the most elusive player I’ve seen in his prime at his size, being 6’1 175-185lbs. Incredible agility.
True. Most fans don't realize theres no other tall dribblers, Ronaldo is literally the best tall dribbler (6ft+) of all time
how many bananas in height and bigmacs are that?
yeah thats the really magical thing when you see a size like him going throught defenders
He’s 6’2 not 6’1
6'2*
For all those wondering.. the reason why he can pull this off so often isn’t just because he’s athletically capable but because he times his runs properly. I’m sure many players attempt it but don’t pull it off as often. Also he reads the space and occasionally pulls the defender in or out.
Facts and notice Majority of the time he does this move he does it when the defender commits to a tackle.
I think it’s also due to his speed
the defender moves to body check and close him out, but ronaldo goes a different way than the ball goes so by the time the defender is going to tackle the ball and not the man (going off ronaldo's body language), the ball is already past him and then the defender tries to go for the ball, not realising that ronaldo is passing him also. It essentially emphasises the issue with defending the man rather than the ball. When the ball goes a different way from the man, you are left with the hard decision of committing a foul, or being torn and just give up
Even if the timing is good if you aren't fast enough to reach the ball then there's no point in trying
Absolutely, back in the 90s-2000s you would see it a lot more often from players who were not nearly as quick, like Bergkamp or Zidane, just because they read the defenders' movement so well
This skill is really great for those who have a great pace,i took inspiration from ronaldo and i also use this skill during dribbling ,its really effective, some people call it the ''bridge'' or ''poking around the opponent''
or the auto-pass
Is effective if you have a good body structure and pace otherwise is not that consistent.
@@fusivelqueimado1 you need to know when to use it, when you have space, momentum, and the defender is flat footed and facing front, not side on or back
@@fusivelqueimado1 yeah thats what i said
Where I’m from it’s called a “belt”
Basically he passes the ball to himself, what a legend 😁

Ronaldo is so good, he can pass the ball to himself
And ppl clown him now bc hes older..... insane how they forget how great he was at his peak and prime ..... my Portuguese superstar..... glad to been alive to witness him and Leo's craziness on the pitch
Exactly
it's because people live in the moment now especially this new generation. they forget how complete Ronaldo was in he's prime fastest player in he's prime best trickster, best dribbler and he's strength and finishing and shot power from long shots we're incredible. that's why he's got all theses crazy records that Messi doesn't have.
football just got popularized again due to the world cup and insane but hard to sink in truths like cr7's loss and neymar who cant be the next ronaldinho and messi winning the wc
People clown because he constantly calls himself the best, that's lack of humility. Every true football fan knows that argentine is in a different league
@@pedrodetor You can't consider him the best dribbler when he played in the same generation as Messi..
In Brazil this is not odd at all, we call it Drible da Vaca (Cow Dribbling). It's very effective when the defender is comint towards you, but it also depends on speed and precision: if you send the ball too far, you'll probably lose it.
Véi, os gringos descobrindo o drible da vaca kkkkkkkk
Why cow? Lol
Because that’s how you dribble a cow, the name literally came from Brazilian people practicing around cows (I’m Brazilian and old as f, I saw it firsthand many times, where I grew up in the countryside)

He used to do that because he had great speed & accelation during his prime so he could usually outrun the defender and catch the ball again.
Age matters
he encluded a recent clip from al nasser btw
Literally did this at 37 at al Nasser 😂
Yeah, this move is solely pace driven.
@@optibinds Yeah, but he didn't rely on his speed there. The defender tried tackling and lost all of his momentum. If it wasn't for that, I don't think Ronaldo would had been able to pull it off. He wasn't really fast in that clip.
I really want to see ronaldo play as a LM/LW again, this is where he was the most magical
He doesn't have the same pace he had when he was dominant at the wing... He is more effective as a Striker these days

I don't know why this is called "odd" skill, this was the first move they taught us in football academy when I was 5 years old. It doesn't require much technique, you just need good timing and explosivness, pace afterwards. Even though I am not a ronaldo fan, I must admit he is a decent dribbler, actually. In Uruguay, this maneuver is known as “la antigua”, the old one. Play the ball on one side and run on the other. Everything was already invented in 1924. The art is in knowing when and how to do it, and have the speed for the tight space.
This is literally one of the first moves we do naturally as a kid. Put the ball in front of you with some distance then full sprint

He can do this because he knows exactly when to burst without the opponents knowing and he has the burst speed to do so.

People love to say Ronaldo peaked at Real Madrid… these videos are proof that bro has always been a superstar. Real Madrid just turned him into a goal machine.
I do that too, although on an amateur level. It's hard for a defender, cause the ball goes on one side and the opponent to the other one. His brain has to decide which side he wants to choose, this little fraction of a second is mostly enough for the attacker to run past his defender.
i use this skill, and i gotta say it's so fun to use and so effective.
how can people say a player who has only played in his comfort zone during his career is a GOAT? come on, messi doesn't do anything, he's just lucky to have the best players around him. Just because of the world cup? Did you guys forget he got 5 penalties and if it was Ronaldo everyone would call him Penaldo. What ronaldo do, messi can only do half. And what Messi can do, Ronaldo can do. What kind of alien only plays in the comfort zone?
Kids won't understand nothing taking away from messi but this man can perform in any system whether it's worst united side in 2021 or unstable jeventus who sold their midfielders and replaced it with worst alongside hugain with broken defence man take madraid when they are struggling in 2009 to their glory days this man is on another level🐐🐐
"If penalties were so easy, why does Messi not have an international trophy"
Yes it must be very difficult playing in the best club ever in England that was dominating the league and had the best generation of players in their club history. It must be very difficult and "challenging" to play in a Juventus side that won the domestic treble consecutively for 3 years. A team that had won the league 7 years in a row and reached 2 champions league finals before Penaldog went to the club. It must be very difficult to play in the most expensive side ever in Spain. You Penaldog fanboys are nothing but low iq people, and you keep proving that everytime you people show your "opinions"
What’s different is that he doesn’t simply pass to himself. Firstly he always passes on one side and runs past on the other. The defender is on the ball, not Cristiano, so he’s focused on it while Ronaldo can use his superior pace and the advantage of not needing to turn to get ahead. He also does something risky which is approaching the defender with the ball. If he’s too far away he’ll never reach it in time without committing a foul. Additionally his passes are short because that’s what allows him to get to the ball before any other defenders who might make up for the other who got dribbled past. Finally his passes always go in a straight line facing him which means he just has to rush to the ball without changing angle. It’s truly masterful, what a player
Found myself jus smiling in awe, was beginning to forget how good this guy was
Only a player too quick like him can pull this off!
