  • Saudi Arabia is now open for travel!! I never thought in all my life I'd visit The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. So when I was invited by the tourism board for a trip, I knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to go and check it out! I was really surprised to see how inviting everyone was, it wasn't this unknown place no one has traveled to or been before. It was an amazing cultural experience! I'm so excited to share my first impressions and experience as a female traveler with you guys as I visited the cities of Riyadh & Alula. SAUDI ARABIA was nothing like I expected! Comment below what you think of my experience! :)

Glad that you had fun and welcome to Saudi arabia 🇸🇦, actually Professor Michele Murray mentioned that the Nabatean people are ancient Arabian people who actually came from Hejaz region north and west of Saudi Arabia and they went to the area in south of Jordan which is considered northern part of Hejaz region , and they have established their kingdom with their northern capital Petra and southern capital hegra as , and most of the Nabatean inscription are found in alula hegra unlike petra . And a fun fact our current Arabic script is derived from the Nabatean script 🇸🇦

Hi Ruby, great video! i was searching for videos on the female dress code in Saudi Arabia, and came across this. I'll be going to Saudi Arabia in December. I understand a headscarf is no longer needed. But I see that you are, at times, able to walk around with the top part of your chest showing under your abaya. So I guess that's acceptable? I don't have an abaya now, so if I arrive at the airport in jeans and a long-sleeved top, would that be ok? Thanks!

Welcome to Rubys and Christian in Saudi Arabia
Saudi cities have different terrains, and each city has its own characteristics
If you want to dive, then Yanbu, Sharma, Magna, Duba, Farasan Islands and Umluj are among the best places to dive.
If you want cultural festivals, the Janadriyah Festival in Riyadh and Souk Okaz in Taif are among the most important and largest cultural festivals in the entire Arab world
Agricultural festivals such as the Rose Festival in Taif, fruits in Tabuk, dates in Qassim, olives in Al-Jawf, oranges in Najran, coffee in Al-Dayer Bani Malik, the honey festival in Al-Baha, and Rijal Almaa are among the most prominent agricultural festivals.
But I love the CZcamsr who is interested in transmitting cultures in the fields of religions, ideas, sociology, customs, traditions and anthropology in general.
I wanted you to visit Al-Rajhi Mosque in Riyadh to understand what Islam is as an experiment in understanding Islamic culture and knowing our reasons for what is forbidden and permissible and the meaning of life
