  • We had the pleasure of staying in a water villa with a pool, which we really enjoyed. We did get to tour a number of room types, so we will share our thoughts here with you.
    Stay tuned to hear some considerations to keep in mind when booking, the room tours and more!

    Overall, the villas were huge. The villas are about 2,000 square feet, with sizeable bedrooms complete with a desk area as well as the largest bathroom I’ve seen in a water villa in a while. The bathroom features tubs, standalone showers a walk-in closet and a separate washroom.
    The outdoor space is spacious as well, with an outdoor shower, hammock, chaise and dining sets. Many of the villas have pools as well. They offer large bottles of single-use Loccitane products, which we love.
    Across the different room types, the actual room configuration and setup is the exact same, with the exception of additional living space in some of the suites. However, even in the most “basic” marina beach villas, you have the exact same layout. Even the art is the exact same, from the marina beach villas to the presidential suite.

    Fantastic videos. This is what is needed for us starting our research. Excellent format. Excellent camera work. Excellent dialogue without the unnecessary rambling. Excellent insight to key features and details. It’s very impressive how much better your reviews are than the plethora I’ve been watching. Keep up the great work. Subscribed.

      @@VoyagerGuru underrated channel. I really appreciated the note about the local light pollution. I feel it’s a big deal and hope this is a reoccurring notation in your reports.

    Do You guys have a preis guide for 2 week stay and snorkel or diving rentals?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  Před rokem

      Hi Howard! Thank you for your comment! Diving costs approximately $120 per dive and the price does go down depending on how many dives you do. Snorkeling gear is complimentary :). I hope this helps!

    Great video! How did this compare to the four seasons Bora Bora?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  Před rokem

      Hi Euan! Thanks for your comment! They are very different, starting with location. French Polynesia and Bora Bora in particular, is a great destination for people looking to explore outside the hotel, have access to the mainland island and experience a depth of culture that is often not possible in the Maldives. Four Seasons Bora Bora, as you may be able to see from our review, has incredible views and the rooms are stunning. The service was a bit hit or miss and that is the trend in Bora Bora.
      Emerald Maldives is a great all inclusive product with overall very good service and an excellent wine program. If you go to Maldives, you can take excursions but you will not be accessing local islands for the most part so its a very different style of vacation.
