Bro just mispronounced so many words and kept going
Gigachads be like
Genuinely, it’s so jarring
He's just popliyalizing this knowledge... in the arweyah. 😅
69
It’s part of the charm at this point.
I have accepted my fate, and am now watching JUST to listen to this man mispronounce things. It sounds like his words are made out of butter
Oceanography
I thought I was tripping at first then maybe he's just fucking with us. I'm not sure but I am surprised this is the only comment that noticed
Yeah. Started it . Then read comments. Now I need to hear it all
Fact: electric eels are completely unrelated to eels, in fact, they're relatives with knifefish. they're only known as such due to their serpentine nature.
@@DeepTissueExplorerelectric eels are related to knifefish, and both of them are related to catfish
As someone who stumbles and trips over words when i read, i absolutely appreciate this man pushing through.
This was a great video and i know that with time and practice you'll be killing it dude. 😁
Absolutely loved the video, but as one commenter said, it's okay to do more audio takes if you mispronounce something, not doing so makes the video feel kinda rushed
He reads to fast that he runs out of air causing him to stumble on words. That is the problem
i was just gonna comment this too. it’s good to break your script down and allow breaks to end one take and listen to notice any mistakes. if it was 1 mispronunciation i wouldn’t have noticed but it’s sooooo many.
i think this guy's just spewing out as much content as he can and has no time for retakes because if you check the latest videos they're all posted within days of each other lmao
@@ray-ze8vf literally this. low effort + rushed + new channel + iceberg only content + the insincere sounding "thank you for 50k". this channel is likely just for money
My impression is that this person is reading from online sources directly, instead of interpreting it using his own thoughts and words. It would sound a lot more natural if he would stop reading directly and would give his notes the ELI5 treatment.
Very nice video, but you seem to be rushing yourself! Speaking too fast made pronunciation of some words odd haha, carnivorous and oceanography
Dude's whole channel has been that way with no indication that he's improved at all
@@SkeeterMcMeatBeater very odd! It's his own videos so he shouldn't have to feel rushed, or talk too fast at all. Mispronouncing very normal words though had always been a very... Not like annoyance to me, but it definitely doesn't sound good in my ears
@@SkeeterMcMeatBeater It's kind of frustrating that people can make a bunch of money off CZcams, while putting in the least amount of effort
Compasses really threw me off. I had to pause the video and rewind to make sure I heard that right
You can slow the video down by hitting the wheel thingy top right hand side of the video…
It's the "call of the void" - a psychological concept that most likely has to to with our alterness instincts kicking in. It's basically the brain preparing itself for the eventuality of falling/sinking...
1:19:53 I think what the Ocean At Night entry refers to is the Ocean At Night theory where big ass sea predators go up near the surface due to vertical migration. Theres a whole incident too about a giant artificial sun at the gulf of Aiden being tested and followed by a reported "Vortex" in the ocean and mutiple earthquakes near the area
I know the Story from Wendigoon
But for Real, cant find any legit seeming Site or article about it
If i remeber correct the og reddit Post was even in the Google search right at the top
its notr true slime
This is almost certainly what it's referring to, even if it's more crazy conspiracy theory than mystery.
@@DjSummerravepretty sure I’ve read about it on Wikileaks before if you’re trying to find it.
I have tried to find info on the "Gulf of Aiden artificial sun" thing, nothing really came up about it. It was probably just a made up story by a moron in Reddit or 4chan.
Imagine if your defensive mechanism is to be a child after you become injured. That's basically what immortal jellyfish is.
Imagine chilling in the ocean and a mermaid swims up to you and plays you her mixtape
Lol, “come passes going crazy” sir I think the script read “compass” 😂
Wikipedia more likely.
@@ciao9934I mean it makes sense to an extent... 80% of the ocean is unseen or unmapped by humans.. mostly due to depths. They've had decent space exploring technology for a bit now, telescopes cameras in space and what not. I agree it doesn't sound right initially though just stated as a fact
1:19:48 - I often have a dream (nightmare I guess) where I'm alone on an Island no bigger than a baseball diamond set in the middle of the ocean. There's no moon, stars, or any light source but there is an extremely faint ambient light that allows me to barely make out water foam and objects about a meter in front of me. Usually the water begins to rise and I'm forced to the centre of the island where there's a rocky formation about 3m tall that I need to climb to get to safety. Eventually I'm sitting/standing at the top of the formation with water occasionally flowing over my feet. Its really the sounds that freak me out the most, the water sloshing against the rocks, the wind blowing, and the water just moving about. Just hits me to my core.
Wow! Thats an amazing dream!! I dont think dreams have meanings in most cases, it often feels like its just random thoughts, but sometimes your brain can express meaningful things as a metaphor, things you keep in the back of your mind, you dont think about it but its always there
@@SeraCrystaso they do have meanings , theyre just personal .
@septbaaby
So ur telling me that very dream has a meaning?
U do realize that people watching a movie or hearing a random story can dream about it? It has no meaning whatsoever except your brain working overtime and sometimes projecting it.
Sure sometimes u can dream about personal stuff, but if u think every dream has a personal meaning just dont answer me, I dont want to see such a braindead take
@@SeraCrysta 🤦🏻♀️
Sounds like you're feeling isolated and or lonely in your life.
38:38 the two different pronunciations of "extremophiles" killed me
Lots of questionable pronunciation 🤣 still a good video tho
It's almost like he has no idea what he's even reading
Cool video but please slow down when you reread the definitions so that you don't slur and spit so much please.
phantom islands might be the result of cartographers adding fake islands to their maps as part of copyright protection, if a rival cartographer just started copying and selling their maps, the fake islands would be a give away that it was stolen from their maps. Something similar is done today where maps occasionally add streets that don't exist.
Source? Copywrite law probably doesn't even exist. So I'm not sure that's the reason. Especially when we've WATCHED islands disappear in real time before.
This is good, just take a moment to slow down a bit when you talk. It'll help you not stumble on words
Great video! One tip, you can slow down on reading because i can hear you struggling to pronounce words. other than that good job.
The Ocean at Night refers to the concept of vertical migration, suggesting that massive unknown predators exist but simply deep below the surface. Supposedly there was an experiment with an "artificial sun" that was lowered into the ocean for cooling purposes, but was followed by a whirlpool and earthquakes, leading several countries to send their armies out to deal with it.
Came here to say this ^
Wtf u talking about
Sounds like a movie script lol
I guess even scps are fine now

Dude I want to watch this video but I can’t listen to people who try to sound smart with words they clearly don’t know.
Regarding submechanophobia, I feel somewhat unnerved when seeing images of man-made structures underwater, especially propellers, submarines and large pipes. I wouldn't say I get anxious or feel anything serious, but there's definitely some sort of fear there. The only thing I can think of that might have helped to create this phobia for me is playing the level Clanker's Cavern in the game Banjo Kazooie when I was around 7 or 8 (this level contains a large mechanical shark amongst other things)
videogames are worse than real life 😱
in real life if you know youre a good swimmer and dont get tired it feels better
in games like scarface when you cant dive to see whats under and get eaten by a shark fucking sucks
in gta 4 when the water was black that was creepy made my skin crawl
same with resident evil 5 the brown water and crocs
deep clear water is good you can see everything but its really unnecessary to even go in deep water so its not even a valid fear in every day life
sorry i suck at writing too i dunno where to put the dots xD
I have submechaphilia, I love seeing man-made structures underwater
What about swimming in a ship lock
I remember my brother playing that level. Now that I looked it again, it definitely is a bit scary.
Hour and a half of a clip must have been a blast making it. Subed and liked. Good luck and have fun.
the fact that everything in the iceberg is not even a tip because theres so much mysteries about our own ocean that we dont know is horrifying
Schaefer's Anglerfish is referring to a specific type of Anglerfish, namely Sladenia Shaefersi. It's a bottom-dwelling fish that walks along the floor with footlike appendages, lives at great depths, and does the expanding stomach thing so it can swallow things bigger than itself.

This is a really good video! Keep up the good work!❤
Thank you so much!!
I live 30 minutes away from Montauk in Southampton. I was a kid when the Montauk monster story came out . My dad always told me that it had to come from plum island which is a heavy protected government commandeered island in the LI Sound off the North Fork of Long Island. Alot of evil stuff goes on over there. Definitively government experiment.
Yeah because what raccoon has a beak?
Great video, alot more information than the one sourcebrew did, when sourcebrew got to "eels" and how mysterious they were, he didn't provide much information on them, but i like how you provide alot more information and go in depth
But as another comment said, you just need to slow down a bit and not stumble on the words so it doesn't sound like your reading a script rather more natural, i get that can be hard to do in 1hr 30 min video but once you find the right way to read out loud itll come naturally.
Yea he should read slower, but the real problem is the fact that he didn't even go through and fix his mistakes.
Completely agree, I enjoyed the video but I absolutely can NOT stand when the person making it doesn't bother to go back and fix those easy, minor mistakes. About 60-70% of the parts of the ice berg have him mispronouncing/ stumbling over commonly known words, if he spent the time to go back and just fix those little parts it would sound so much more professional. It's giving rushed, careless, and tacky.

Your speech delivery is getting much better!
It's not
Ok
Plato's recounting of the fall of Atlantis perfectly aligns with the younger dryas meteor flood. The bible also speaks on it. If you want more info, look up younger dryas Joe Rogan, he has some very intelligent people discuss the evidence. We don't know about evidence of Atlantis tech, but every old story is backed up by physical evidence in geology. Interesting rabbit hole I strongly suggest
atlantis is the ancient city the Aztecs found, built by gods for gods, built by olmecs and the Egyptian god thoth. the mayas where already looking at the zodiac and el dorado is Peru where the incas worshipped ancient persian gods.

Same to you! ❤️
In the video between part 7 and part 8 there is stuff missing ! Might be a glitch... Like for example no Bathyphere fish or Sea Carpet... However can be a mistake of mine.
Great vid bro as always 🔥
The etymology of ‘Kraken’ is interesting
It’s a Norwegian word meaning ‘bent tree’
It’s the same word they used to describe grappling hooks.
So there you go ‘a bent tree that grabs you’
I’m glad I’ve found a good & constant content creator that actually feels like an actual human being

We also have to remember even though the ocean is almost completely unexplored most is just open water that we would never go to because there’s nothing there
The Globster - Ahhhh Kos… or some say Kosom… do you hear our prayers?
I think this is my first time visiting the channel, but I have a feeling I’m gonna keep coming back👍🏻 subscribed ❤
Nvm I watched part of your RDR iceberg 😜
I feel like parts of this video are a bit hard to follow, I'd definitely recommend doing re-takes when you mess up a word so badly that it's unintelligible.
I don't mind the occasional hiccup or you having to re-say a word if you mess up, but the times where you pronounce a word and it's unable to be heard correctly are the ones I'd definitely retake.
Happy Halloween Snook, really enjoying these iceberg videos. Keep up the good work ‼️
Glad you like them! Happy Halloween!
congrats on 50,000. ❤
You shouldn't mention Atlantis without mentioning Edgar Cayce.
Thank you for emphasizing the non-supernatural explanations to these mysteries
