It is one of the Major Shopping district in The Bronx. There are many public transportation to & from the area.
Fordham University, as well as The Bronx Zoo and The New York Botanical Garden are to the East of the shopping district.
There are plenty of street vendors, some who are not license as well as they are not really supposed to set up on the sidewalk. #nyc #bronx #walking #shoppingarea

I lived in all 5 Boroughs Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island. There’s something to always do in the 5 Boroughs, I love all 5 of them. The Bronx is the home of Hip Hop, my favorite baseball team the Yankees, one of the best zoos in the world The Bronx Zoo, and the New York Botanical Gardens. Fordham is one of the main shopping areas in the Bronx along with Bay Plaza, The Hub, and the Bronx Market Terminal. The Bronx has the real little Italy and it’s better than the one in Manhattan. The Bronx art museum on 165 street and Grand Concourse is a good destination to visit. The best Spanish dishes in New York City are in the Bronx, along with strong West Indian, Chinese and Italian food. City Island has some of the best seafood in New York City. Pelham Bay Park is the Largest Park in New York City, it has a beach called Orchard Beach, a lot of BBQs around the Summer time, it’s always great vibe with Bronxites. The Bronx is a great place to visit in New York City for new tourists and comers.
Yes, The Bronx is a great place to visit. There is so much to see & do but a lot of people bypass The Bronx because of past reputation (which every place has), to add to the list place you already mention, there is also Woodlawn & Van Cortlandt Park.
