@@fishingPLZ I will.. but before I do go.. have you launched at St Lucia before?.. timing here is everything.. and the conditions change daily.. we are a sandy beach with an Estuary mouth.. and the Sediment movement up the coast from RBM and Richards Bay Harbour has a huge impact on our gullies and sand banks.. every tidal cycle..
As I thought.. Hard Surface Mouth Exit.. predictable Sets.. no tidal influence.. yes your vesel runs smoothly.. but won't have the bite needed to treat water in the white foam that covers the sand banks.. it's about 40% less traction and the sets change every 15 minutes as the gullies fill up or drain empty.. You and Marius from Stok Styf will have many stories toe share around a campfire...
Jip.. what is the Advantages of 200HP 4 Cylinder 4 Stroke Petrol over 200HP V6 4 Stroke Petrol.. The V4's are 35Kg lighter.. why did they fit The 9m Carry Cat with V6's and not the lighter cheaper 4V?
Most jet ski guys have no respect for other crafts and often put others in dangour and themselves is the fact of the matter i have seen it all at umhloti
Unfortunately that has always been the perspective.. even from the Authorities side.. but generally people visiting the St Lucia Launch site is well prepped and ready to fish.. Since St Lucia Launch site is so well controlled it take somewhat getting use to .. but I think the skippers in general are all about safety first.. If all the skippers teport to Wiseman he work around everyone's schedule and rituals.. actually it's amazing to experience a well organized Angling Competition.. From the 12 x 12 to the Rose Bowl.. the Authorities keep a very close eye on the proceedings and in good communications with the organizers.. It is here that there is sometimes a break down in communications.. the individuals don't realize that the Park Authority through Ezemvelo Wildlife has a handle on everything.. And this is where misunderstandings come in.. I don't have an official appointment.. but are informed about all the interactions.. and somehow have to communicate it.. every now and then.. it happens that some toes are bruised..

They are really good at reading the waves and counting the sets..
wherever that wave runner was launching from certainly didn't look like the best time!! waves currents and tide looked like a major collision!
On out going tide ir changes about every 15 minutes..
