Lake Simcoe Perch Fishing!

Fishing Lake Simcoe for Early Spring Jumbo Perch! We're hitting the water for some prime perch fishing action. As spring kicks in and the ice melts, it's game on for these jumbo perch. This was my first time targeting perch on Lake Simcoe and she did not disappoint.
We caught most of the fish on a 1/4oz dropshot rigged with a 2" Berkely Swimmer on a number 2 Owner hook. We fished in 26-28 feet of water for the whole day and saw others catching in that depth as well.
