Used to go to that pub regularly, great history and mix of characters (inc Pete Doherty/Libertines & London hard men)...loved it..shame it's closed now.
I went to Filthy’s when I was in London 10/01, hoping to meet Shane having seen him in concert in Portland a few years earlier. Unfortunately, Shane was absent on that particular day. They had great Thai food there. (It’s no longer Filthy’s; it’s changed hands and management and has a different name now.) It was a nice little pub with great music.
used to be in Kings Cross run by shanes mate gerry who now runs the (ahem)boogaloo in Highgate. it's the one they took all the photos in and outside of for the album cover of "the snake". I was in it a couple of times 10 or 15 years ago.I'm from Nottingham. how well do you think you now north London Mr Clapham?
+Alasdair Maccormick My point exactly! I would hardly frequent such a low-life hostelry. I do know North London and most of London very well, thank you! This 'place' is probably invented for numpty tourists like you. I probably know Nottingham better than you 'Alasdair MacCormick' - oh that's such a typical Notts name (NOT)! A Wee and Bile yer Heed - yer wandering 'Sweaty'! Ever been in the 'Rose of Kent' By the Bye?
Jeremy Clapham I was one of those “numpty tourists” as you so eloquently put it and I was the only tourist there. Everyone else were locals. So yes, it did exist as of October 2001. I guess you’re not as smart as you think you are. (But you’re still an ass.)
I do have to say- please forgive me mom- Shane was my role model
He looks well there, legend.
IrishBard He deos he looks very well FOR SHANE.
Brilliant upload mate :)

Dave fanning's hour long questions and interruptions annoy the shit out of me. Let the guy speak.
Fanning is a prick
He's making excuses, they kicked him out because he was permanently wasted..🤔
I know North London; and I have never heard or seen a public house called : (ahem!)
'Filthy Mc.Nasties' (what a perfectly ridiculous name!)
