When you said you were gonna bend it, and i immediately thought why not fill the hole with super glue, then you did that haha. About to do the exact same thing to fix my sonata now. Thanks for the how to!

Cool, that is my exact symptom with those lights and doors. I will try the same with super glue fix and see if my interior lights begin to work with the door again too. Thank you!!!
The repair did work, but a couple of things I would add. The Off-Door-On light switch was VERY difficult to remove. I ultimately got it if, but almost gave up. Once removed, the repair was straight forward. My interior lights now work mostly as expected. However, when ON, the lights will not always go on. If I rock the switch a bit, the lights do go on. The workaround is to turn each light on individually. In the end, I am happy with the results, but realize it was a bit more difficult than shown for some vehicles. Thank you for posting!

I am old and worn out wrecked with pain having an Spinal Stimulation Unit installed/scheduled for October 31 (truthfully) now thinking about calling you ((joking here). Wish me luck. Another thought....create a Water-Pik to be used in the shower using the shower for pressure. They are really messy, for me, according to my wife. Hope to live to see it in production.

Easy fix. If it gives you trouble the light assembly is pretty inexpensive on Amazon. There is a link in the video description.
My problem was to find the off and on button to turned the switch off. Thanks for showing me it was above on the ceiling lol😊

Thanks great video mine will turn the light off if I hit lock but if I don't hit lock on a fob it stays on constantly so I'm guessing same problem

I juat bought a new OEM one off ebay to fix the issue. Was only $35
I have the opposite problem. Lights are working, but when positioned in the middle, when opening doors the light stays off

The courtesy light at the bottom of my passenger door won't turn off. Have you encountered this?
If that is the only light staying on I'd check the wires inside the rubber harness where the door hinges are. Sounds like a short.
