    I love this sub, I found it locally for $350 only used a few months in a professional system and got the receipt from the original owner to prove it. Was shooting for the 12" but you simply can't pass up the 15" for $350, my only gripe was I didn't buy the other one he had. I paired it with the RF-82ii's and an RP-440c. The 440 definitely holds it's own very well against the towers n sub.

    Typical CZcams trolls aka haters in the comments I see! Maybe it's not the perfect room for these speakers but what room is right?! All that matters is that you bought what you like and are happy and in my opinion this setup is badass man! I bet I blows you away and anybody sitting in that room! Good shit!

    Nice setup. I'm finishing up a remodel with some new RF7's and RF-82's in quadraphone. I'm using a Marantz NR-1504 with a Crown XLS-1502 driving the RF7's. Crown PA style amps are perfect for home theaters. 275WRMS is savage volume.

    • @Flores828
      @Flores828  Před 6 lety

      +Guns Cars and Digits just now sure to save your receipts I've had to get speakers replaced and my amp is only pushing 150 watts

    • @Dr_Xyzt
      @Dr_Xyzt Před 6 lety

      I had the same thing happen. Tweeter on an RB61 and the Tweeter on the RF-82. Interestingly, that happens when they're under-powered. I asked a Klipsch rep and he explained that the woofers on the RF82's drag them down to 4-ohms and they cause the amp to clip. When the amp clips, the clipping bends the power over to the tweeters and pops them. I drive the crown with more volume, way longer than the marantz ever did. Over-power is better than under-power. RF7's go down below 3.6 ohms at 30hz.

    Why did you buy a pair? Is it really that much of a difference compared to a x.1 setup? If you install a pair, do you set them up symmetrically AND with the exact same settings?

    • @Flores828
      @Flores828  Před 7 lety

      Joeri De Strijcker there is a big difference with two also you dont have to set it up and move them around to get a sweet spot. and yes i calibrate my speakers with the calibration mic and then adjust any setting where i feel there is needed.

    • @joeridestrijcker445
      @joeridestrijcker445 Před 7 lety

      Interesting! I'm current using a 25yo subwoofer... but had to set it up behind my listening position; everyone recommends putting it in a corner, but for me it works much better in center of the room (can't put in front of me as my projection wall is there); even at very low volume it makes my eardrums hurt ;) ; but, as it's so old, I was considering a replacement. 2 of these Klipsch SW might not even be needed. How do you hear/feel the difference? sheer volume? directional effect? It's impossible to hear from a youtube video of course, but I don't really know anyone who has dual SW setup at home ;)

    • @Flores828
      @Flores828  Před 7 lety

      The best way to describe it is you get a fuller and complete bass. Its like if one of your towers got disconnected when your listening to music and you feel like theres something missing and ypu realized the second tower was disconnected. Most peiple dont know how much more full and rich the bass sounds with dual subs because they never ran dual subs but it compliments the rest of the setup since everything else is dual as well

    • @joeridestrijcker445
      @joeridestrijcker445 Před 7 lety

      The front speakers/towers are typically in a stereo-setup...meaning two distinct channels, so it's logical that disconnecting one would seriously impact the sound; I checked my receiver's manual... both LFE outputs get the same signal (one channel but to 2 speakers); that, combined with the idea/theory/whatever that is popular these days about being unable to detect direction in such low frequencies, is what's making me doubt. I'm not saying you're wrong at all, just trying to understand what's behind it and find a decent reason to buy 2 of such subs ;) ; I've seen the diagrams in the Klipsch booklets ('manuals'), they never recommend a setup with one sub in front and one behind the listeren... wouldn't that create more immersion than both in front? (not sure if you're eager to test such setups in your room, but hey, you have the speakers and you're able to experiment! hehe) ; maybe you could do an easy test for me... set it up like you always do, then just turn off (with that flip switch) one of the two subs and compare to both switched on; I'm really curious if it really makes such a great difference...

    • @Flores828
      @Flores828  Před 7 lety

      Craig Haney havent had no issues their anchored to my stufs really good and they pivot without any issue especially since these are really heavy bookshelves. only thing i would suggest is putting some sort of padding underneath the speaker so as to not to scratch it when you do grip it, might just be my ocd lol

    Very nice system....BUT overpowered for this room dimension. Placement also very bad.
    this System is made for rooms....10x10 meters.
    MINIMUM.....

      dami, do you know anything about home-audio at all?

      They would only overpower the room if the owner turned them up. Same principal of owning a high horsepower car. You don't drive the car at 100% throttle but you have the power and potential and that potential allows 30% throttle/volume to be that much more effortless.

    The 62 surrounds aren't selling because weak ass men let their wife wear the pants, and tell them you can't have big speakers. Another reason is people love cheap ass soundbars. I don't understand why women think big speakers are going to make their regular no head turning home look worse?

      drjd2real lol yeah ive seen alot of youtube videos on klipsch speakers where they say the wife only let them have the towers up or they couldnt use surrounds cause the wife didnt like them lol

      Flores 828 I have 2 of the Klipsch 15's, 2 rf82's, 2 rs-42, rc-62 but want to replace it with the 450c. I'll never let a woman make me ditch my speakers. I actually bought 3 of my Klipsch speakers from a guy that recently got married, and he told me his wife said he couldn't keep the speakers.

    122dB max acoustical output??? Trash!! My 17 years old kicker comp does more than that at only 150wRMS.
