Haha, finally I was able to make a version with the Purple Square of doom and the damned tricky lightning hand. Also weird lag happened at the end... I was scared to get hit because of that.

If you have the ultimate armour, the Giga attack move you know where you press the ZR button, or R2 button, you can easily dodge the purple square 🟪 with that, the ultimate armour special move is op against this sigma.
DAMN, that's some skillful playing my friend. :O

Dude I beated sigma for the first time without any armor and with weaknesses and because of those blocks i almost lost but you used only buster and didn't take damage how are you so good

The only thing that happened to me in the X collection, no matter the parts I managed to get before triggering the enigma shot or the shuttle mission. About 70% of the times the shuttle failed to destroy the colony (with the 4 parts), so getting the bad ending was too easy, but getting the good endings was a test of patience because of the stupid RNG. In the PSX version, that only happened to me about twice for each 30 playthroughs.
How do you get the good ending?
@@Ds-hg6yx You have to be RNG blessed to have either the Enigma or the Shuttle to destroy the colony (the Shuttle has better RNG than the Enigma, but still), in the old PS1 release you could manipulate the outcome regardless of how many pieces you have of either Enigma or Shuttle, but X Collection and X Legacy Collection doesn't have a consistent way to manipulate said outcomes, I think I kinda found one way with the Enigma but I still have to test it.

Nah i don't think there's a difference, I didn't most people would have the original ps1 version.. I just got X Collection a couple days ago. And i can't beat sigmas final form from X4 and after zero died in X5 i gave up because X was bare(no type of upgrades). But you did hella good btw!
Aye, he didn't want to make up his mind how much health he wanted quite alot....but damn good job ya did...but how many tries did it take to get it perfect? Just wondering because whenever I get around to it planning on doing walkthroughs/reviews from all sorts of games...mainly because, I'm pissed off a testing gaming company was offering a job and was turned down twice...once ain't good enough for 'em....

Played on original hardware without save states and gave up on the 2nd form. I was too exhausted from boss rematches and the fact that life-up only refills a quarter of an e-tank (die 4 times to get a full tank)

Is it just me or was this just an X1 final boss remake?
I know its a year late. But, im pretty sure megaman x5 was meant to be the "final" megaman x series and had alot of built up to make it feel like the final chapter that leads to megaman zero series.
Basically all Mavericks are slight redesign of the past characters there's even reference such as launch octopus being killed when you fight the squid, and a omage of megaman x2 music in The water level. And yes sigma x5 is meant be a redesign of Final boss of x1. They even pour alot of lore how sigma anf dr wily teamed up to try to defeat X
