NEW! Fishing Rig Hack - MUST LEARN Before Your Next Trip (BIG Secret Revealed)

- This new fishing rig is perfect for beach fishing This rig is designed for catching dinner fish like pompano, drum and whiting. It is simple to tie and presents the bait in a stealthy fashion. The main part of the rig is reusable and the leaders can be swapped out quickly if they get bitten off. The leaders are free to spin around the main rig body and this reduces fouling by a considerable amount. However, every so often if you have a bluefish bite you off on you can quickly swap leader lines and keep on the hot bite.

Making life simpler that's what its all about. Thanks for the excellent video!!!!!!
That right there is called The Fishing Mortician Rig, been using that rig for a while now, I use it all the time.
Wtf are you trying to say? You use for a while but you you use all the time? Wtf man?
That’s great! I just tied up a similar line that used TWICE the amount of swivels that your rig does but not near the same amount of motion! I will definitely be tying this up. Thank you!!!
"oops". lol. That got you a thumbs up for honesty. Love your vids.
Nice, this rig will save me money and make changing out hook so easy! I appreciate the you spreading the knowledge!
Just watched your egg loop knot video, and now I'm here! Frankly this is the high low set up I'VE BEEN DREAMING OF!! This will be a game changer for myself, and hopefully others will see the value too! Used to use three way swivels instead of tying on dropper loops for the exact reason of not wanting to retie an entire rig, but this gives me hope in the minimal terminal tackle high low rig again!
Aloha, I’m here on Oahu thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. Can’t wait to try out your rigs. 🤙🏾
Absolutely Brilliant. Just found your channel. I appreciate you!
Heck yeah man. Thanks.
Thank for the tips I have enjoyed watching you and your wife fishing together or with your family
that is a good rig set up easy to make and easy to relace thanks for this
Great video, new to surf fishing. this helps out a lot, thanks
Man, that's an awesome rig! I'll be trying it soon
Hey that’s very cool and informative thank you I am going to try that line and hooks
Nice upgrade to the t knot rig I learned from you!
Not sure how much I trust this rig with overhands in the middle, in theory that cuts the strength of the line up to half. But I'd have to give it a go regardless because this definitely seems better than tying traditional pompano rigs...
Thanks Skipper that rig will be helpful in all sorts of applications 👍
Yeah! Btw i make lot of awesome fishing rigs. Take a look, may be you find them helpful.
Cheers!

Great tip, thanks.
Cool, thanks for the tips. Where do you do most of your surf fishing?
Love your content bro I'll be going surf Fishing for the first time in my life In May at PCB Florida, what kind of hooks do you use brand and size and do you have any tips
May have to try this instead of the dropper loops with barrel swivels. That’s what I used for stripers with like 60lb mono.
In fresh water, we just use three way swivels.
Only down side about three way swivels in saltwater would be toothy critters that go after the swivels.
Three way swivels are still fairly finesse.
Originally used for trolling for walleyes in the Midwest but I've seen striped bass fisherman use it in Florida.
Can be modified for bank casting.
Lovin this fishing parties super cute thanks for secret learning.
Thank you brother
Great hack
It looks easy a lot better than traditional the two-way hook set up
🎉
Well I'm about two months away from fishing. My favorite lake is froze over. So it will be end of April, end of May at least. But I will give this system a try. I normally use a double hook dropper rig. This looks easier, since my vision is poot. Tight lines and keep fishing.
Hi just wanted to let you know that I love watching with videos and wanted to know which beach area is that in your lasted fishing video, making a trip to Jacksonville the second week of march. Will love to catch some whiting if nothing else is biting.
Great video
The 'mortician rig' is similar to the 'two hook paternoster' that I fish. I use a small swivel to attach the snood to the main line. Your technique looks good because you no longer need to use the swivel. This could save material and money. I wonder if it works just as well. I'm definitely going to try it because I lose quite a few rigs at the bottom of the channel.
Very cool rig
Good idea..come support from Malaysia
Nice technique to try…Thank you..
Awesome! If you found this helpful you gotta check out my website, I custom make a ton of gear to help you with your next fishing trip! www.heyskipperfishing.com

In newbie and I’m learn a lot. From philippines
Its a great rig and a brilliant idea using that rig .the only this i dont like that tie of the hook,i rather tie it only through the hook eye only , keep my line a little far than the one you used
Match anglers in Europe use similar rigs, using 50-80lb mono shock leader as rigbody, but trapping two beads between a pair of crimps then using hook lengths that clip on with quick release swivels (not clip swivels, they are little hooks one end with a moving rubber stopper to hold them on). You will often see extra snoods baited and hanging off of the angler's tripod for a quick rebait/recast.
Would that wear the main line with it sliding and moving or will it cut through rig line first
Would this technique work on the Oregon or Washington coast?
As I was riding past my favorite fishing lake, I had an idea. Instead of tying two knots in your main line. Why not use two beads, like the kind you use with a sliding float. Because then you could adjust where you wanted your bait. Just an idea. I will try it, maybe in April, maybe. :)
What rod setups are you using?
Tx for the tip, it's like the pater noster swivel without the pater noster swivel, more discretion and quicker to create, lower cost etc..I'll give it a go! 👍👍
That's awesome...less hardware more fish
Is the line strength not compromised with knots?
Doing this for very long time.. it's help u recast much faster if u premade the reg.. and make 10 set.. plug and play
Come on sunshine.. I'll try it next outing.
What’s the rod your using on the out side
What rod is that one on the metal rod holder?
9:04 *toss* lol
That's how I do it👍👍
My bro shreeeeeded
8:08 😂💀
Been sea fishing in the UK for 35 years. Been tying this rig and using bait elastic the entire time. The only concern with the knots in the main of you rig, it weakens the line strength. Try using 6mm clear beads a double threading them, with a barrel swivel in the middle. Or even a two way bead. Then attach your snood length to the swivel or through 2 way bead.
Works well in theory but not in the water ! Sorry tried it and it got knotted still.
@@ozmedico any snood length gets tangled, something you cannot avoid.
this rig has worked well for me for several years. Tangles are only an issue if you use heavy bait or long snoods ( 4 to 6" 20 lb fluro has worked fine for me )
Is that fishing in North Carolina?
Yay #1 today
Can’t you make these rigs ready to go? Too much work tying my own!😊 lol! I need simple rigs really simple!😊
YEEEET
You should try bobber stops instead of the two knots. That woukd allow you to adjust them if needed.
bobber stops would slide all over once a fish grabs the hook
You are losing fish because you are snelling the hook incorrectly. Feed the line on the inside that faces the circle, and not the outside. Google this to understand why this is important. Also, most fish aren’t as line shy as you think. You can safely use 20 -25 lb mono for your snelled hooks. Set up 2 rods with different rigs, one with 15# fluorocarbon snelled from the outside, and the other as I suggested using the same bait, and see the results.
oh really? you need to show it how first before we believed you.
HEY!
Better to do with dropper loops and attch those leaders on. I'd be afraid oh those over hand knots weakening the line
Hey Skipper, where was the hardest place for you to catch fish? I'm thinking Redondo Beach CA?
Nope, tie a few dozen extra leaders. Unclip broken leader, clip in new leader start fishing. Keep broken leader parts use the parts to make new leaders! Simple and save money, tight lines!
It's good for camping ropes too. When yer gotta tie shit to a tree or tie up bigfoot. 👍
I told you the knots are better than the loops.
Plot twist, your main line breaks on structure 😮
How to prevent Crab eating bait
You need a better background. We couldn't see clear how to tight
The improved clinch knot is nowhere near as strong or easier o make than the Jack Miller knot …it is not the best choice!! 😊
This is a great rig.... just one comment though and it's strictly my opinion based on my own experience....saltwater fish (and freshwater for that matter) are NOT line shy... saltwater fish are voracious eaters and they couldn't give a rat's butt about fishing line vs vegetation vs food when it comes to eating a meal. I've used up to 40lb mono on leaders and hooks and have caught as much if not more of the several species of whatever EVERYONE ELSE is catching along whatever shore I'm fishing. Just sayin'..... I'm also a bass fisherman and I apply the same principal to that too... fish don't care! They don't know what fishing line is vs all the vegetation and "stuff" that's in their home water. If they see food and are in a feeding mood, they'll go for it no matter what's attached to it. Just my opinion and experience; I respect yours.
Hey, appreciate the love and support!! 😁
Just to let you know I've got some killer fishing gear over at www.heyskipperfishing.com.
Check it out-I think it'll help your fishing game big time.
Or you could just use a 3 way swivel.
cost of swivel + worse presentation + takes longer to tie. This FM rig also allows the bait to slide about a bit before hitting the knot .. a bit like a Carolina rig in that regard
1st on
Fluoro sliding on fluoro is a bad idea.........
Those swivels are COMPLETE JUNK. You should be using Ball bearing swivels, but only ball bearing swivels will spin under load. Those plain swivels are complete junk, I quit using them about 3 years ago and so happy I did.
The bonehead shark was a paid actor 😅, all scripted.
