    • @LearnHow2
      @LearnHow2  Před 3 lety

      1) The plants were in the small tray at least 4 weeks. I grow a large number of plants and find it easier to manage germination in small trays in a spare room in my home as the greenhouse is too cold early spring. I transplant to pots and bigger trays when they are ready for the greenhouse.
      2) I only could find the add on nozzle in the uk here - www.littlefieldsfarm.com/haws-medium-fine-spray-plastic-rose-f5-10-oval?adGroupId=60998325070&device=c&gclid=CjwKCAiA4rGCBhAQEiwAelVti6kz0oeAcZkX3sKIIhRkCG67yxofByaYqnu47GVsawYhcJWmq4ptFxoCJRUQAvD_BwE

    As soon as I put any coleous in the ground the insects or slugs eat some of it. I just keep mine indoors or outside in pots.

      Hi Elsie. I try to grow mine indoor until the plant gets quite large - slugs like tender parts of plants and they dont tend to attack larger plants so much. Keep safe.

      Most coleus seeds are from India and thrive in bright sun and warm temperatures. Consistent watering is the key. I have a homemade drip system throughout my beds so I just water every 2-4 days depending on the temperature. This works for all my plants, flowers and vegetables.

    Two questions for you sir…
    1) On my package of seeds it says to pinch to promote branching. When should I start and how often should I do this?
    2) If I let it flower, can I get seeds from the flowers for the following year?

    • @LearnHow2
      @LearnHow2  Před 3 lety +2

      1) I would start by pinching out the middle growing tip when the plant is about 2 or 3 inches tall 2) Yes you can save the seeds.
