@sunreaper2 That's probably because he had the matriach as starting unit and he decided to make advantage of it by upgrading his acolytes to hierophants instead of going prophetes. Also a slight note: this is the final level of the guardians of light campagn (takes place after the original campaign)
@rbk17 simple my friend , it was day 164....in 164 turns you have enough battles to upgrade your troops and you make enough money to build the updrade structures for your units :)
I even managed to beat the damned legions three despite they guard is immune to paralyze or petrify. All you gotta do is lvl up enough them, and max out the armor at the back rank. Imperial assasin with his poison helps a lot, i mean speed things, because if you lvl him up enough you will get more damage from one poison than from any team member, even if you BUFF them to max dmg. Beeing mage lord is best choice here, because you can get moving spells from magic shops and after you destroy clans. It will give you in summay 6 turns in one turn if you get enough mama for łatę gamę. I had 68 moving ponts with same hero, but i starter saga with lvl 3 hero with the best shoes. Basically you can get 408 moving points im one turn. Truelly OP.
because you always had the opportunity to take careful preparations: max out your units, amass a lot of potions, scrolls and mana, research all spells --> then you would first soften up the boss by bombarding and weakening spells, buff your hero with potions and protection spells and basically sweep the boss easily away in any scenario
that's basically a single map, a skirmish. This was the campaign. Furthermore, maps are singular, but campaigns allow you enough units and adversaries to level up until you're basically undefeated. I was at day 164. No one could keep up.....I've even eliminated totally my adversaries by conquering their capitals. It depends on the map you're playing.
try to do that with assa + paladins w\o break armor from demon's spell :D have a nice day to defeat him, i make prob at ~80 day but not with 1st try, 40 armor boss, perma para after 3rd round ( and.... 591 poison dmg from satyrs perma 1shot paladins (

При этом можно нанять Служку (хилера 1-го уровня) и выбрать мужскую ветвь развития (тогда при наборе опыта Служка пойдёт по пути Священник -> Священник Империи -> Патриарх), а Матриарх не превратится в Прорицательницу, а останется собой, просто наращивая характеристики.
Wah, 140 days? I killed the boss on day 74 with 1 ranger, 1 prophetess, 2 avengers, wizard and medusa. I cleared all capitals first and powerful creeps b4 killing the boss.

His standard damage is 200 (plus high poison damage), but all units have 90 armor, so only 10% of damage is dealt. However, poison damage ignores armor. That's why his leader almost died.
Ok... First off, why do you have the single target healer? You don't need it... There is not a single battle in a saga or quest that requires 2 healers, you are just lowering your dmg/turn. Second, almost all of your damage is single target. When you have single target damage dealers, you focus on a single target and dispatch it quickly. It's okay to get them down to very low hp to let the mage kill from there, but your tactics are super weak, bro.
You're right about the scattering of damage, but this is exactly why you need single-target healers. One will probably do for the late-game, but having 2 is a real boost for being able to jump from creep fight to creep fight fast, without having to go back to the castle to heal or wait a while doing nothing(or wasting mana on healing...). In the saga, starting with weak units and a strong hero allows you to jump ogres and trolls from the beginning if you have 2 level 2 healers. One just doesn't cut it sometimes...
He most likely used the editor to make a custom map, and had a Merc camp that sold one of the healers, IE the Matriarch, but in the tree he made the Hyrophant.
@skinnyman16 lol or cheats, ive palyed threw all the campaigns and theres not enough units to gain that high of a level not to mention 2 of ur units r at 0 exp and ur hero is maxed.. 2 signs of cheats lol but hey, maybe this is legit but idk
