You can pick it up for 50 medals on the second page of the polar patriots warbond
This beauty's got a 45-round magazine, you get 3 mags from ground ammo and the full 7 when you hit a supply box
it’s a one-handed weapon, so while you shoot with one hand you can carry an SSSD and the rest of your squad with the other.
Comes with three fire modes - auto, semi, and burst - and due to its minimal recoil you'll be on target faster than you can say "sweet lady liberty.”
But here's where the Pummeler really shines: its concussive rounds.
These babies are like magic bullets. You hit almost any enemy with a few bullets and watch 'em stumble around like they've had one too many super beers.
Hulks, Stalkers, Brood Commanders even Chargers will be dancin’ to your tune once you hit 'em with a burst of concussive rounds.
But you gotta be doin damage for them to work!
So make sure to aim for the enemies weak spot or pop their armor off first with somethin like an EAT

since its a one handed you can quickly fire behind you while running the other way so if you are getting chased by bugs, robots, quickly shoot them to stagger them and keep running
I love to use the ballistic shield against bots and this will improve my load out

@@ElficGuy I have not been able to try it yet but I am going to try it when I am able(I am unable to play for the next 2 weeks) but I think it would work better than the two options we currently have.

@@SuperSparrow8173yes, the ballistic shield is basically invincible to small arms fire from the front, you can sit there, fire back and withstand incredible amounts of punishment, and heavy devastators are far easier to handle with it

Being one handed, you can also fire behind you while moving away from foes without having to turn around like most weapons. This helps even heavily armored divers get some distance faster while also firing back. Mix in the stagger from this one and enemies really struggle to chase you.
Voice reminds me of the gta San Andreas ammunation commercials. “Buy an anti aircraft cannon actually used in our war against Australia!”

They work great with ballistic shields vs bots. And that shield if you put it on your back with another weapon, it protects your back a bit while you run away. If you run without guarding with the shield in hand, it's protecting your left side. And though that shield will break vs turret rounds, you'll survive that one shot.
PS, one handed weapons you dont really need to aim to shoot it behind you if you're being chased and running away. So just try not aiming exactly sometimes with some of these nice one handers with auto fire.

yes it can, every weapon with one handed in its traits list can be used with the shield or shot behind you without fully turning around

The pummeler is great to use with the ballistic shield. You absolutely destroy heavy and rocket devastators thanks to the stun and shield
i recommend you also bring the ballistic shield as you can just staredown heavy devastators and easily cap them
Use the ballistic shield with the pummeler, because you make heavy devastators LOOK LIKE COMPLETE CHUMPS.

I'm still actually salty about that. Rather than actually make your snipers good, you handicap the slug shotgun.

The Pummeler is great for getting breathing room when a swarm of Berserkers drops in. Probably the best unlock from Polar Patriots, honestly.

@@potatopitoto3301 I dont recall any changes to it, but I also haven't used the Pummeler since then either.
Can be super useful for stunning both Rocket Devastators just before they fire (they reset the animation when stunned) and Nursing/Bile Spewers (they will do the full spray animation, but stop spraying when stunned)
Im actually a big fan of this new smg, it works wondwrs against the bots since the concussive force stuns just about everything under a hulk no matter where you hit them, lets you be super safe taking on hordes of em trying to gun you down with sheer numbers

The ballistic shield is a perfect support pack that allows you to push forward while your teammates take pot shots around you

- nade pistol
-AMR
To more easily take advantage of the pummelers' rounds, carry impact grenades to blow off enemy armor. If you hit medium-sized enemies such as standard devistators in the legs to trip them up!
Also, carrying impact 'nades will help take advantage of the stun inflicted by doing a quick one two combo. Stunning the enemy first by hitting them with a few pummeler shots before using the impact grenade for devastating damage! Aim for the head to deal the most damage on any type of devastator if your rounds don't kill them first!

Great pairing with the ballistic shield. Lay down the damage while basically ignoring all of theirs

Because it's one handed, I pair it with the Balistics Shield pack against the bots so I can fight and defend. After I stun them, I swap to the Anti Material Rifle to finish them off

I've been using the defender since day one because I cant afford any war bonds yet so I will say the smgs go really well with the light armor since you can jog and shoot behind your back, 2 handed weapons require you to turn around and walk backwards. Getting swarmed is a breeze to get out of, and chases get way easier with one handed. The concussive sounds like itll be very useful to this technique
Tried the pummeler against bugs and it’s pretty damn awesome. I’ve been addicted to using medium pen guns like the dominator and adjudicator but the stun more than makes up for the light armor pen. S tier in my opinion

Talk about the sticky thermite grenade it melts tanks in only three nades and is devastating in a high grenade capacity armor

You can also use the ballistic shield with this. I’d say quasar cannon, the shield, and this would be a good setup.
Pummeler + Ballistic shield + Heavy armour + your favourite non backpack support weapon = the ultimate Juggernaught build
I find the arc thrower works well in this setup, ideally with the shield you are towed the front of your team so it decreases the risk of friendly fire. That and the arc thrower staggers and kills a lot of the stuff the shield can’t deal with (melee and rockets)

One guy rocking this set up (me) can stall an entire company of bots, devastators ecc. wile the others clear everything with ease
Most of you know this, but for the ones who don’t: If you pair the pummeler with the ballistic shield, stun grenades and the grenade pistol you’ll have a good time fighting bots

I love this gun. I use it best with the ballistic shield to absolutely dominate over the Heavy Devisators.
When smgs are better than actual assault rifles

On bots I run the pumbler, shield, qazar, 380 and the 120 with heavy armor it's my new favorite loadout
The sustained rate of fire being low as it is makes it great for hoards and keeping waves of enemies in one place. Like gas or minefeilds.
People have been talking shit on this gun not realizing that because its an smg you can one hand it, the slowed firerate means it's steady while firing and it won't burn through ammo and those concussive rounds will shred groups
I think the ballistic shield could use one more buff, maybe a direction based damage reduction for melee just so it could be more than a wasted slot vs bugs
It's nice to have something good to make them stalkers f-off. (The conclusive liberator doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned)
My favorite part is it locks spewers down. I'll try to enjoy it as much as possible before it gets nerfed into the ground.
All these weapons to choose from and I still end up using the medium armour pen scout rifle.
The Breaker does more damage when set to Semi than Auto and is slightly more accurate. It's great for ripping bots off the back of those walkers.

Anyone else getting this odd glitch where if you hold the fire trigger while reloading as he finishes the animation he’ll toss out the mag and waste an entire clip and have to reload all over again
Use a ballistic shield while battling bots, its heavy armor, and works as mobile cover for everything but rockets, tank blasts, and flamethrowers.

They shpuld have goven the tenderizer the same stagger ability. That wouldn't make it that good, but would have carved out a niche for it at least

You can dance around enemies as the pummeler does not need aiming to fire and hit.
This means you csn run and gun all the time. Hip fire Democracy while running around.
Hunters, Stalkers and any fast bugs will be hard pressed to catch up.
Equip Senator to deal with Hive Guard and Brood Commsnders.
Balistic shield is good
At this point it's not even a question of *if* they'll nerf it anymore. If it's good and it's new, they *will* nerf it into the Shadow Realm.
A combo I have seen is Pummeler + Ballistic shield for bots

People were pitching. About it not staggering all the time and Iwas watching their video and saw that it was only staggering on dmg lol.

Works well with balstic Sheild's along with armor, it useful agasint bots that shoots lasers on you. Not useful against rocket deveastors, but surprisingly can block the striders lower guns. You will still die, but still good agaisnt all types of enemy. Combine with railgun, EAT, QC, Anti Rifle, or even Laser Cannon. Down side it will cost you offense stratgam, but for utility and damage, makes you a good tank and focus fire bait. Just don't challenge a group of rocket deveastors, or hulks with rockets, or Cannons. Not useful agaisnt bugs if your using the sheild, sincr meele can still hurt you. Just take sheilds or more offense stratagem.
Just remember that while durable, blocking higher caliber or explosive rounds will eventually leave you shieldless. So pay attention to your shield durability Helldiver!
We never learn our lesson... the devs are just waiting to nerf it bc we actually enjoy using it..
