I have now listened to all these vlogs about this album. I have never been around people who write music and so I find the descriptions of your writing process fascinating. Also, I greatly admire that you admit some parts of the songs are difficult to play or sing yet you didn't change them to make them easier. This gives me even higher respect for you as musicians.
You have an amazing way of telling the truth about uncomfortable subjects. QOTMS puts a spot light on mental illness, stalking, and suicide, don't ever be sorry for showing the truth through art. Just keep speaking from the heart and what you see. If the three of you are a great example of your Generation, I have a lot of hope for the future. Keep Rocking ladies!👍❤🤘
When it comes to The Warning I will gladly put up with all the ads. It's more money for them.
Ale beats to the sound of her own drum. Dani "Ale you are suppose to do this." Love it.
Base = Foundation. Probably the word Paulina was seeking. Funny that base and bass are pronounced the same, and some people misspell bass as base and Ale's bassline as baseline. A baseline is in baseball! And to add to the confusion, there's the fish, the bass (pronounced differently).

You Girls are making lyrics so good it's disturbing. I love EVERY TRACK on QOTMS. But imagine if the Warning produced this album in 80s ... nobody would believe these songs were created by 3 sweet normal girls from a loving family. Priests would preach against this album and politicians would say that the Warning is a dangerous band 😁

Now I can see, they are talking about tempo and notes, and their rock music are conglomerations of different styles and their genius put together there you go you produce modern rock music. Indeed you are all lovable in the world!

They not only finish each other's sentences, they anticipate the other's NEXT sentence...By the way, I am very happy to find these descriptions of how they write songs because I was wondering how they did it (what was their process?). I recently discovered P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C and I'm in love with this song. It feels like they ventured from hard rock into punk with this one (and actually a few songs on Q.O.T.M.S, including "Hunter"). I love the entire album...

I really loved your story of the album's birth. Years ago I heard Paul Simon talking over one of his songs (Graceland, I think) where he explained the images and inspiration and meaning of what was in the song. I absolutely loved that and wished that was available for more music... and here are you giving me that!! Thank you. Can you imagine if we could go back and watch vlog equivalents from the 70s of Pink Floyd talking about the layers and inspiration for The Wall in this kind of detail and with this much enthusiasm? (Probably not with the enthusiasm since part of the inspiration was about being burned out)

The first time I heard P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C., I *KNEW* there was a slight tempo change after the bridge/chorus?.. I heard it in the drum strokes and I thought "did they just drop the tempo a notch or 2?" Now I know it was intentional, LOL! 10:11 - I think maybe the 'arrangement' is what you were looking for?😉 *It's ALL ABOUT THAT BASS!!* (no treble!)🤣
Chapter four is actually sad to me. I love it, but I feel the turmoil in the character and her end is so sad, but yet inevitable. This album is a total work of art. A masterpiece. How can you top it? I know you can and I can't wait!

Have you guys thought about doing a theatrical production based on this album? Billie Joe Armstrong and Alanis Morissette did so with American Idiot and Jagged Little Pill albums, both of which are concept albums. I mean, Queen of the Murder Scene is a Shakespearian tragedy that would fit really well as a musical. Imagine that album cover in lights on Broadway or the West End. Stunning!

Yes, Ale is the quiet one and youngest (15 now). But also because Pau and Dany are very loquacious.
