Great video! Simple and to the point. I just bout this device 30 min ago and was trying to figure out how to load this thing as you got into the instructions on how to do so. The included instructions were too complicated or maybe I'm just tired lol.
Well, had the smaller 18 gauge ,so didn't need to read instructions for this one, WRONG...Didn't even know how to load it.. Thanks for the help, now ill get to work. After I get side tracked watching another hour of videos. 😀
I just bought this 2nd hand ( 2017 model) airstrike and they don't sell 16 gauge nails here in philippines, but he said he's always used it with 18 gauge nails. I tested it and no issues so far with 18 gauge nails..
That was a terrific review. I purchased the finished nailer for replacing and adding trim in my older home. No more hoses and deafening compressor just to install trim. Thanks for the video.
Great job, no Bullshit, why can’t everyone run their channel like this, I’m sick of the adds or the stalls to make vids longer, the redundancy, you say it once, you get right to the point straight off, I feel like I could pick this up tomorrow and start nailing right out of the box!,, please give classes to the morons that don’t know how to run a channel..thank you! A new fan.
I've got the brad nailer of this and I love it. I used it in a carpentry class once and it kept growing legs and the professor said he would have to go out and get one. The only thing I would like to see on the finish nailer is an angled clip to make it easier to get into hard to reach spots.
I tried it on a fence section (a common outdoor job I need to do). I found it underpowered compared to my air powered finish nailer, and it was not able to sink the nails. Thus, tap tap with a hammer. Better to get out the full compressor setup. Also, I found it actually heavier than my air powered nailer. Seems like they are adding an air nailer, a small air compressor, and a battery all to one unit. The result is actually fairly heavy. It is not bad for my small repair jobs, but again, better to get out the air gun for bigger jobs. PS. bump fire mode is a great way to get a trip to the hospital.
Great video, informative and you answered the questions I had since i picked up a new Ryobi P325 airstrike a couple of nights ago. Thank God for CZcams and people like yourself who take the time to make the videos and post them up for others to benefit from. One question I have is whether or not Ryobi makes hard case storage box for this tool? DeWalt makes storage cases for many of their tools and it would be nice to have a case for this tool. What other storage cases are available and what would you suggest for those of us who like protecting our tools when not in use? Thanks again as you did an outstanding job with the video!
I was thinking to buy this yesterday but i want to see a review and your's are outstanding , you always show it in very deep to the aspects of the tools good job
Im sold, I've always wanted a nail gun and have wished many times that I had one while working on a project, but I could never justify buying a paslode.
Possibly low-quality nails.....lubrication needed......or a malfunctioning unit. Check out the vid I made about nailer performance & it may help --- czcams.com/video/2X5Z947ldl8/video.html
I leave those belt clips off the Ryobi nailers because they can gouge other woodwork and nullify the overmold rubber on whichever side of the nailer that you install it on.
Best video re: this Bakker I’ve seen and to be honest , since I’m not a carpenter, I think I will keep this cause it’s a decent budget nailer. It’s obviously not as nice as a Bosch, DeWalt, Mikita , or Milwaukee, but if you compare it with others if Ty e same tier like kobalt, rigid, which is the the same company, it poter and cable, I’m solite you wink see it’s not a bad machine
Great video well explained as well. I'm thinking of buying the Ryobi plus one stuff and came across your video about the nail gun. I have a Tackwise nailgun that's ok for light use eg backing boards on cabinets etc, but I wanted something stronger and without the use of a compressor. This is great, just have to save enough to buy it ha ha. Thanks again. Barry from England.
Barry Roberts Thanks Barry! The Ryobi ONE+ lineup is a great option for DIYers, and I like the fact that they have not changed the battery platform for many years (with no plans to in the foreseeable future). The Airstrike nailers are "Pro-sumer" quality as far as I am concerned & are some of the best tools they make. Thanks! Daniel from USA ;)
Nice video. I'm watching more and more of your videos. You think you can do one on the the Ryobi cordless miter saw? I just saw it yesterday and I think it's convinced me to finally invest some money in the Ryobi line.
Wouldn't that be something? I was always hoping my favorite tool line from dewalt (20v max) would be the one to release these. The fact that Ryobi has come out with such awesome tools lately is astonishing!
Yeah, their transition from stem pack to slide pack has been a very interesting one. And not handled very well in my opinion. It is an outstanding line, and most of the tools are stellar once they are released. I'm sure they're coming, sooner or later, and I hope they're taking notes from Ryobi here.
first of all, I have both 18 Brad and 16 finisher as well as stapler - love them all. Now, I have experienced an issue - these units do not seem to like working in cold weather or high altitudes when it is cool. I had to take my 18 Brad nailer inside to let the unit warm up, then (@ 5000') it worked, albeit slowly. had it not work at normal altitude in 45 degree weather with only 2 lites on the high capacity lithium, put a fully charged battery and then it worked fine. I love these puppies - looking to ryobi to bring out a 16 penny nailer (not finish). so just heads up, if it is cool or cold, warm up the unit first.
Thank you. Manual was totally useless. Your video was compact, very well produced, and very eloquently spoken. You did not discuss different types of nails. I want to shoot something heavier than the sample that came with the tool, so I will ask at Home Depot. Is there a particular brand of nail that works better than others, regarding feeding, jamming, etc.? I want a quality nail, not necessarily the cheapest one.
Kudos for your video. Learned a lot from it. Looking to purchase a nailer gun n your video has helped. Question: if you want to keep the shot nails evenly in a line, how do you acconplish it???
Had this nailer for 2 days and sent it back. Every 7-10 nails it would not sink 1-2 of them fully. Constantly having to use a punch. If your a pro stick with air
Purchased 2 in the same week. Both malfunctioned. Ryobi support seemed to know the reason for the issue. Didnt offer to replace it with a new one or refurb. Dissapointed.
One question re: this nailer, there seems to be a grey thing on SE corner of the gun when you place it with the “tuoni” make facing down, nose pointing to the right, what is that thing? You can see it in the video as well …seems to be right next to the return latch when you punk it down to load that rail…
Good video and review, however what’s the shortest nail this gun can use ? I’m looking to purchase this gun but don’t always need long nails. Thanks in advance.
mover27 Thanks! I dont think that finish nails would penetrate concrete or brick....this would be more-so for interior work or maybe smaller detail work outside.
Can this nailer attach moulding to mdf? I am going to build some cabinets and need to attach mdf to mdf (thick sheets) to hold for gluing and also to attach moulding when finishing it. Thanks
Charles One I honestly do not know.....hopefully someone with experience in that can comment. I would imagine not, and a better choice would be the brad nailer or crown stapler.....but I would be interest to know. Good question!
I have one of these nailers and it refuses to fire more than 3 nails without jamming. The nails seem to get caught in it and I haven't found any brand of nails that will work correctly. Any ideas. Also a ryobi 18 gauge battery nailer that isn't working but it did get wet yesterday so that would probably explain that.
Raj Dann Nope, not at all....the battery lasts a very long time & it sinks nails with no issues. I dont use it on a daily basis, but I have fired hundreds of nails with zero jambs.
I really like this nailer, i did my crown molding, chail rail and base molding. The only thing i think there is something wrong or some setting with mine that the last 3 nails it won't shoot them, the nail gun thinks is emty and i have to reload. I bought it because i already had the battery and the air compressor makes to much noise when is filling up, with this all i do is switch battery and im set
Angel Esp I havent had that issue with this one, it may have something to do with the brand of nails/pressure setting/depth setting on your P325.....I have not heard any complaints about these Airstrike nailers. At least it is just the last 3 nails & not the last 50! :)
Hi what size round head nails can this use. im looking to secure decking joist hangers but not sure if the nail will pass through the pre drilled holes
The company owes you. Very clear and articulate, full of pertinent points. And I agree, the manual was completely worthless. Thanks so much.
This guy’s reviews are on another level. Well done.
Very nice video. I just purchased one of these and the manual wasn't too well written. Your video told me everything I need to get started.
This is probably the best instructions video that I've seen, thank You guy!
Thanks for this video. This is my first time using a nailer and your video demonstrated everything I needed to know.
Great video! Simple and to the point. I just bout this device 30 min ago and was trying to figure out how to load this thing as you got into the instructions on how to do so. The included instructions were too complicated or maybe I'm just tired lol.

Including the application at the end of the instruction was excellent. Thank you, very helpful.
I just got one of these in the owner's manual instructions suck your video told me everything I needed to use it
Thank you for actually showing how the tool operates!
+James Brown No problem! Thanks for taking the time to watch & comment!
Just purchased one. Let me just say thank God for you.
Glad to help!
Why haven’t you made more videos??
Great explanation on every aspect of this P325 👍
I just bought this 2nd hand ( 2017 model) airstrike and they don't sell 16 gauge nails here in philippines, but he said he's always used it with 18 gauge nails. I tested it and no issues so far with 18 gauge nails..

+toolman560 Thanks! I appreciate it! It sounds like the Airstrike is going to save you a lot of time! :)
We need more of your videos!
Ryobi was ahead of its time. Meanwhile Dewalt is stuck in 1960 when it comes to nailguns.
Great video! My wife just bought me this. Excited to use it.
Thank you so much for this video! First timer here and I was a bit scared of learning this machine. Now, I'm excited to use it !!
Excellent product review, very well done. Concise & Comprehensive. Thank you!
Great Job, Great Review, The only thing that I saw was that you should remove the battery whenever you’re working on it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
great video - solid coverage of the nail gun's features.
That's a pretty big unit. I picture 18V ONE+ framing nailer would probably be as big as a bazooka. Anyhow, great review and thanks for sharing.
GrayXIII Oh nice, I didnt even think of that! I am very impressed by the quality & performance of the Airstrike Nailer....it really surprised me.
Yeah man, they're awesome. Probably my favorite and most used tool.
Great video!! Best one I was able to find, very detailed.
Wow that nailer is great! Perfect for pros too. Even a homeowner would get a fair use out of this.
Thanks! Oh I agree....this is definitely above "DIYer" grade, like you may have expected......it didnt have any issues at all.
I tried it on a fence section (a common outdoor job I need to do). I found it underpowered compared to my air powered finish nailer, and it was not able to sink the nails. Thus, tap tap with a hammer. Better to get out the full compressor setup.

thanks pal .. this video was amazing i was afraid to buy the gun cause of the high cost but now i will order it to south Africa.
Samer Aal-rassul I am glad you liked it!! :) The Airstrike nailers are excellent tools....I couldnt believe that it did not jamb once on me ever.
Excellent review. You answered all my questions and some I didn't know I had. This tool is now on my Christmas list!
Gordon Blackman Awesome! I am glad I could help...thanks Gordon!

awesome video, clear audio and your product info was on point. Subscribed.
I was thinking to buy this yesterday but i want to see a review and your's are outstanding , you always show it in very deep to the aspects of the tools good job
Thanks a lot Battleminion! :) I am glad you liked the review.
battleminion great tool! Did a whole house top to bottom after flood. No complaint s
great review. has this air nailer been updated in the last 6 years? im looking at getting it in 2021
Thanks buddy. Hate reading manuals
Im sold, I've always wanted a nail gun and have wished many times that I had one while working on a project, but I could never justify buying a paslode.
Umar Musa Yeah the Ryobi Airstrike nailers are definitely a top quality tool.....I have never once gotten this thing to jamb.
A framing nailer like this sure would be awesome. Wander if they'll make one soon?
Excellent video. Im sold. Thank you
Very informative...thanks! Purchased one yesterday and the manual was wack as hell.
Excellent video
Mine will not drive the nail below the surface, I have tried all 16g nails the answer is the same, I bought it after looking at your page.
Possibly low-quality nails.....lubrication needed......or a malfunctioning unit. Check out the vid I made about nailer performance & it may help --- czcams.com/video/2X5Z947ldl8/video.html
Great video. I would also like to see how you use the depth and air adjustment features as I am a new user. Thank you.
Excellent! Very informative.
I leave those belt clips off the Ryobi nailers because they can gouge other woodwork and nullify the overmold rubber on whichever side of the nailer that you install it on.
8digitPDX Good suggestion! I think I will remove mine the next time I use it....I hadnt considered laying it down on the wrong side. Thanks!
Dude, Great Nail Gun!!!
Was hoping you would have talked about the different sizes nails it would use.
Me, too.
Best video re: this Bakker I’ve seen and to be honest , since I’m not a carpenter, I think I will keep this cause it’s a decent budget nailer.

101Cranetech Thanks! I will put that in the lineup, thanks for the suggestion!
Great review compared to the Dewalt biased videos ;)
Outstanding review bro. I love these nailers from ryobi.
Thanks Matthew! I am extremely pleased with this one too....I hope they come out with a framing nailer soon....that would be awesome! :)

How do you rate ergonomics for the tool? Great review. Thanks.

Head light is cute, but I'll stick with my Paslode.
binnsh Now whats a Paslode guy doing watching Airstrike videos?? ;)
Good video and review, however what’s the shortest nail this gun can use ? I’m looking to purchase this gun but don’t always need long nails. Thanks in advance.
Great job! How long does that P108 Lion battery take to charge?
don't forget eye protection!!
I'll order one
Thanks for the vid..
Jason Rodriguez No problem! Thanks for watching! :)
Ive never gotten that many charges from a single battery with mine. its a neat tool, but it dies pretty quick, actually.
Great video. Have you tried using this to attach trim on concrete/brick walls?
mover27 Thanks! I dont think that finish nails would penetrate concrete or brick....this would be more-so for interior work or maybe smaller detail work outside.
I love this gun but it sometimes shoots 2 nails at once and I don't know how to correct it
Is it me or did you say you can "increase the air pressure" with the rear lever?
I heard that at minute 2:03 - 2:07.
Inside is a big cylinder with a piston…..turning the knob increases the amount of (air) pressure that hits the nail.
Great video but, will it nail crown mounding into a PLASTER wall and ceiling?
no nail gun will hold cornice up
Can this nailer attach moulding to mdf? I am going to build some cabinets and need to attach mdf to mdf (thick sheets) to hold for gluing and also to attach moulding when finishing it. Thanks
Charles One I honestly do not know.....hopefully someone with experience in that can comment. I would imagine not, and a better choice would be the brad nailer or crown stapler.....but I would be interest to know. Good question!
I think I will look in to brad nailers, thanks for getting back to me though.

I do believe those last few nails are left as an indicator to reload. I wanna say I read that in the manual on my ryobi 18 ga nailer.
Ok thanks jason
Jason Michael yu
That's considered normal. The instructions mention the lockout can occur when the gun reaches 5 or less nails.
Can I do stairs treads with this nail gun..??
Hi what size round head nails can this use. im looking to secure decking joist hangers but not sure if the nail will pass through the pre drilled holes
Yeah everything is good except it's too heavy too big for me 🤣👍👏
Is there anyway to remove loaded nails for a different size?
Not really a review more like a commercial for ryobi but well presented.
how long did it lasted? a few years.
can you use this to hang doors?
why are the designs of the 16gauge and 18 gauge different
+BOBBY OMAR Different nails.
I can´t seem to Fire that Thing ;(
hello and how is it going? do i recommend it because i'm thinking about ryobi or stanley. greetings
Buy the ryobi 👍
Is that a new model u got ? look different to those I see here on you tube....
Raj Dann Yes, there are 3 different models (currently) and this is the newest one. It is the finish nailer #P325.
what better doing a wood fence the 18g or the 16g
Framing nailer with galvanized nails
Does anyone know whether the Ryobi P325 is also to 18ga brads as well? Which brad nailer model is able to use both 18ga and 16ga ?
No.....you cannot use 16ga & 18ga nails in the same nailer. The P320 is the brad nailer version.
WHAT LENGTH NAILS CAN IT SHOT?
Would the 16ga be suitable for studwork and building a shed?
No. You need a framing nailer.
Why is my gun shutting 2 nails at the same time instead of one
Probably the wrong nails or bad quality nails. Buy Hitachi ones @ Lowe’s.
Anybody know what gauge nail this can shoot? Would like to use it for my new fence if possible. Don’t want to go buy a angle gun if I don’t need to.
This specific one is 16 gauge. They make a brad nailer too but don’t think that would help
