i think building an another mega airport for a city which already has a mega airport is a useless idea they can focus on improving other airports such as chennai which is a metropolitian but has a airport size of an ant you can walk from one end to the other end of the domestic terminal in just 5 min
The existing mumbai airport has reached its limits. Population is rising in suburbs of Mumbai. So to handle future demands for aviation,a new airport is needed in this region. Also this airport is bringing new development areas nearby which will help in economic growth in the region.
Why not you forward to the Planning Commission of India your idea of how to built a cost effective airport.
