Does overclocking work for the New Dualsense Edge ps5 controller and if its overclocked would it mess up the additional settings the ps5 controller has on its own when accessing it on the ps5?

So, since I cycle through two scuff PS5 controllers, I did the overclock on the first one. When I then plugged into the second one. I got the same values, as if I had overclocked it already.
Should I run the process's on it as well, or should I just run the process's everytime I switch?

I think everything here is personal preference but the first tip on the settings is actually decent
Left stick deadzone lower it by like 0.75 so you get tac sprint faster lol

I'm currently switching to controller after years of k&m for the aim assist đ . I'm having a rough time playing like a bot but with aim assist it at least has me doing decent on my kd đ. I move like a bot on low controller sensitivity my movement needs time to get used to.
If you have mw2 I would go into shipment with bots and practice more at a higher sens between 7 and 9,
Iâve found that a higher sens allows you to react quicker, like if you are getting shot you can quickly turn around and get behind cover, I personally use 8-7 and a 0.65 ads multiplier
@@noahpalmer8178 I was told to start on a lower sensitivity and work my way up. I gave myself motion sickness đ jumping to a higher sense cold turkey
I'm new as well. I like 8 horizontal and 7 vertical. Ads sens at .85
The biggest tip I can give you is get back paddles for your controller. Made me 100% better at the game. You can set the button to jump, taking your thumbs off the stick. If you have a stock controller like I did, get the back paddle mod from "extremerate". It's really worth it and much cheaper than a scuff overall
Been practicing against veteran bots for days before I started playing multiplayer. Then warzone.
Play on 6,6 sens, you will be golden. Perhaps try changing your deadzone settings too
@@renzah8790 even 6,6 is pretty low especially for movement, I switch between 8 and 9 but I would recommend 7 or 8 for a new controller player

You have to either turn off secure boot in your bios settings and then once you restart, it will overclock properly. If that didnt work, then i take it your controller is an Xbox or non sony controller?

Quick one - Iâve had my controller overclocked for about 3 months now and Iâve been shadow-banned 3 times - Iâm a 1.2 kd so it definitely ainât cause they think Iâm aim botting or walling.
If youâre on WINDOWS 11, this will not work unless you turn Secure Boot OFF in your BIOS settings.
This is also the case for windows 10. I had mine on and had to turn it off

Cant overclock xbox controllers
Overclock software vertually does nothing. Used it for over a year in warzone 1 and then into warzone until last month. Deleted it as anti virus that protects apps does not work properly with it installed . Uninstalled it, and my control is exactly the same input latency. Checked through another software. Donât reccomend
You've not done it correctly. Probably admin issues. Anyway, I've been overclocking literally anything and everything for years! Overclocking controllers is important right now. Everyone is trying to be competitive basically. Theirs better ways to do it than this barbaric way, but works all the same. đ
Agree literally does same running a controller on oc does nothing. I run ram cpu and gpu oc but controller is not worth it for me.

I highly suggest NOT increasing the polling rate as it has been proven that it will have massive impacts on your FPS. You are giving too many instructions to the CPU to process on a game that is already CPU bound. When you move the controller rapidly, especially if you have a high sensitivity, watch your FPS disappear and your 1% lows will be atrocious. Not good advice IMO.
Polling rate does have an impact on CPU yes, but honestly should have minimal effect on any modern CPU.
Does it still show in HIDUSB? If so just set everything back to default

You cannot play the game without aim assist lmao i turn it off, i also use 18 18 sensitivity with 1.80 ADS multiplier but im also a lead guitar player, those precise micro flicks are kind of like bending a string, this might be why im different than other players
