Bolt explaining that the key is to work hard is so refreshing because he made it look so easy and effortless to us mortals throughout his career. People didn’t see the pain and intensity of his training. The effort and sacrifices he must have made are incredible. Sarah, I think the shoes will take you to a 5K PB.
Found you guys a month ago or so, 2 months into my couch to 5k training. I do 4 days of running, 3 days of cycling and 2 days in the gym as a weekly workout, often while listening to you guys providing me with much "scientifically proven" running tips and "no banter". It gives me lots of laughs and smiles while working out. Thank you :)
I started running 5 months ago and have been subscribed for a little bit now, I look forward to every video and thanks to you guys I’ve managed to knock 10 minutes off of my 5K PB and have managed to do 5 10k races, each time being faster than the other
You can be a sprinter or endurance runner. Your effort was great, and what an amazing experience to train with such fantastic athletes! I've just started training for my first marathon and have discovered your channel. So much motivation, it's addictive!
I started running last may due to preparing for a PT test for work. My bf and I ran together he is my biggest support. We both have continued running and it has made our lives better. He found your channel and just changing small things had made the experience so much better. I run now just to find the peace. I never thought I would say that I find peace in running but I have 😊😊
My favourite part of the video is all the pros doing drills. I know A-, B-, and C-skips before watching, but they totally bring them to a different level, which means the drills are useful and i just have to do them harder and with better form. Great vid!
Thanks Sarah! Your videos are always inspiring, will deffo try to do that workout, if it works for Bolt 😅 Amazing trip to train with those world-class Athletes.
You've met the sprinting GOAT! And you almost did not seem nervous, well done! Rick may have met all those prime ministers, but Mr Bolt tops that when you're a running channel presentor!
Well done Sarah! Fast twitch or type 2 muscles disappear first as you age so its soooooo important for everyone to incorporate speed work as you age! The sooner you start the more the process is slowed! That’s science right there 😂 (true though😊)
It's been an absolute blast following this channel. You've inspired me to ditch the couch lifestyle after a couple of years of inactivity and start running again. Signed up for my first 5K in October, and two half marathons in the coming year. Thank you so much for the inspiration and keep up the amazing work!
Another great video, Sarah. I'm adding some faster running into my training. The speed doesn't come immediately. It might take a few weeks, but you're absolutely right it will be worth it.
In school I always opted for shorter sprint distances and now I'm older I run longer distances. I always love doing my speed sessions and now I'm motivated to give my sprinting another go!
Tried sprinting once, used my regular middle distance style warmup and strained a hamstring within 50m 🤦♂ Seriously, anyone tempted to try this, WARM UP then WARM UP some more. Short distance sprint does not mean you don't need to, it means you need to warm up MORE
So beautiful to watch the top athletes do those A- and B-skips ... you can clearly see how often they do these workouts. Great video, TRC! :) Well done, Sarah! How about a 1500m race? ;)
❤❤ loving the latest video. You keep it fun and interesting, not only a entertaining watch on the tube- but keeps me motivated by my own running challenges. A new pair of Pumas with carbon would certainly help me get to marathon distance!
Love that you got to train with some amazing athletes 😊 I started running this year, and I'm so grateful to have come across this channel! Definitely helped with my motivation ❤️🏃♀️
Tried some sprinting after watching this video. Man, that's tough! Funny thing is: it mentally took me back to my soccer practice days and that felt great. I'm definitely keeping this in. Thanks for the inspiration guys!
I'm always amazed by sprinters. I've been adding strides to my workouts and running at an almost flat out sprint feels kinda insane, and that I don't have control over my legs! (and then I look at my watch and realise that's some peoples "easy" pace😆)
The shoes look absolutely amazing when doing the sessions and training drills. Not only do they make you look as good as a Pro but also as fast as a pro whilst doing your workouts.
This must have been an amazing experience. Loved the video! Also, these shoes look pretty nice. I have yet to try carbon plated shoes, but it’s definitely on my list of future purchases!
Great video Sarah! I got to start incorporating more drills into my training and this seem to be some great workouts. Love the shoes, been eyeing the Velocity and Deviate Puma's for a while now and might pick up a pair soon :)
Sprinting is such a different beast altogether. So hard to get back into that mindset when you’ve been focusing on 5k, 10k, half marathon or full marathon. Great video!
Nothing makes you feel great like just sprinting as hard as you can. It's obviously completely different to the sprint you put on at the end of a middle or long distance race - they feel horrible. But just sprinting flat out to see how fast you can go is great fun. You don't get tired in the same way, you run out of breath as you finish instead of being at the red line before you even start your kick. Sprinting is fun.
❤ Team Puma! Love the look of the Deviate Nitro Elite 3s. They look like magma when still or explosive Lava when you're doing sprints 😊. Love the channel.
Wow what an experience that must have been, not sure if my hamstrings will cope with sprinting but I might try some of those drills! Shoes look awesome by the way.
I’m definitely going to add those drills into my training plan, they looked really good I think you should do a half marathon with those Nitros, a decent enough distance where you can throw some pace down - they are lovely though
Great video Sarah 👏🏼 I always enjoy Running channels content from the videos to Podcasts. That must of been an amazing experience to learn new and different drills from such incredible athletes. I’ve never really utilised sprints in my training, I’m going to programme the session you done into my Garmin and see what happens and also work on my A- skips and B-skips etc for the warm up as i just feel like I’m galloping when I try them 😅 wish me luck 😁 Thanks all the best!
I am currently training for my first half-marathon so I would definitely like you see you running the same distance and get some tips from you on how you tackle a half-marathon ❤
Great video - and good advice to hear from the experts. Shoes look fast and if you find them great for short and long distances, I need to take notice!
I spy Ben is Running in the background. Love seeing all the crossover between the running content creators/community
Any video with Ben in is a good video in our books
The pros doing A-skips, B-skips, and high knees looked amazing! So fluid, fast, and bouncy. Looks like I need to do some more drills.
They looked like they were gliding during the A-skips.. they double as sick dance moves, surely.
I have been informed that "fast twitch muscles" exist, but alas, I have never found mine. All the best to Sarah in finding hers 🏃♀️
does the one by my eye count
my guy what does that even mean?
Bolt explaining that the key is to work hard is so refreshing because he made it look so easy and effortless to us mortals throughout his career. People didn’t see the pain and intensity of his training. The effort and sacrifices he must have made are incredible.
Sarah, I think the shoes will take you to a 5K PB.
"Just work hard", well that's the advice I've been missing :)
😂😂😂

Can't believe you met the big man! Amazing. In honor of him you guys should race a 4x100m relay
Love this idea!
Would love an updated what to do before you run video!! What an amazing experience, Sarah! Congratulations
Great idea!!
I really enjoyed this video. Lots of useful tips in it and it was incredible to see the professionals doing the drills alongside us mere mortals 😮
Glad you enjoyed it

Always great to see Sarahs enthousiasm! I'll try this workout some time
You can be a sprinter or endurance runner. Your effort was great, and what an amazing experience to train with such fantastic athletes!
I've just started training for my first marathon and have discovered your channel. So much motivation, it's addictive!
can’t believe you guys actually got to meet Bolt! great video Sarah
I started running last may due to preparing for a PT test for work. My bf and I ran together he is my biggest support. We both have continued running and it has made our lives better. He found your channel and just changing small things had made the experience so much better.
I run now just to find the peace. I never thought I would say that I find peace in running but I have 😊😊
Wow, never realized how large Bolt is! What a great trip!
My favourite part of the video is all the pros doing drills. I know A-, B-, and C-skips before watching, but they totally bring them to a different level, which means the drills are useful and i just have to do them harder and with better form. Great vid!
Omg the running channel has made it now that Bolt has made an appearance!!
Thanks Sarah! Your videos are always inspiring, will deffo try to do that workout, if it works for Bolt 😅 Amazing trip to train with those world-class Athletes.
I enjoy a sprint session as you feel like you're flying! The best is a sprint finish at the end of a race!
You've met the sprinting GOAT! And you almost did not seem nervous, well done! Rick may have met all those prime ministers, but Mr Bolt tops that when you're a running channel presentor!
I’m training for my first marathon, so I’ve been watching all of your videos lately. Another good one as usual! I’ll try this workout for sure.
I've not done a full on sprint since school but this video has tempted me to give it a try tomorrow.
It’s great to see that the elites still do A and B skips. We’re never going to be as fast, but somehow it all seems more relatable!
Well done Sarah! Fast twitch or type 2 muscles disappear first as you age so its soooooo important for everyone to incorporate speed work as you age! The sooner you start the more the process is slowed! That’s science right there 😂 (true though😊)

Signed up for my first 5K in October, and two half marathons in the coming year. Thank you so much for the inspiration and keep up the amazing work!
Definitely need to include more drills in my own training! Thanks for yet another motivating video
I love seeing the variety of distance and speed work that you do. Watching your videos always helps to motivate me.
The sprint finish is my best part of a run, so satisfying to over take everyone right at the end of a parkrun
Love everything about this!!! Go Sarah! 💨
Those shoes look amazing so cool u got to meet Usain bolt, the running channel always makes amazing videos
Tried sprinting once, used my regular middle distance style warmup and strained a hamstring within 50m 🤦♂ Seriously, anyone tempted to try this, WARM UP then WARM UP some more. Short distance sprint does not mean you don't need to, it means you need to warm up MORE
Not the same for everyone. All bodies are different. I basically never warm up and don't get injured.
Awesome episode - well done for getting the Jamaican greats in it. This validates your content even more 😂- thought I can’t do half the stuff
Nice video, keep up the good work! Your channel has a good mix of entertainment and practical information.
Love the shoes 👌
Nice work Sarah. We've been adding some strides to the end of sessions to try and get the members to channel their inner ⚡
Great content that you guys keep doing. I really aprecciate the mix of your different Videos! Greetings from Germany
So beautiful to watch the top athletes do those A- and B-skips ... you can clearly see how often they do these workouts. Great video, TRC! :) Well done, Sarah! How about a 1500m race? ;)
Really interesting to see what sprint training is like, thanks Sarah!
❤❤ loving the latest video. You keep it fun and interesting, not only a entertaining watch on the tube- but keeps me motivated by my own running challenges. A new pair of Pumas with carbon would certainly help me get to marathon distance!
What an amazing experience! That workout looks killer
Love that you got to train with some amazing athletes 😊 I started running this year, and I'm so grateful to have come across this channel! Definitely helped with my motivation ❤️🏃♀️
Another banger video guys, love the Puma drip as well!
I personally look forward to running more, and love watching these videos and learn about running! Btw the puma Nitro shoes look dope! 💪
I love how much effort goes into making these vidoes, with new ideas and plans to keep training fun. Keep up with the wonderful content TRC!
Great video guys! Someone tell Sarah to keep running a touch past the finish line on her sprints, I reckon it'll help her get that 0.000001% faster 😜
Tried some sprinting after watching this video. Man, that's tough! Funny thing is: it mentally took me back to my soccer practice days and that felt great. I'm definitely keeping this in. Thanks for the inspiration guys!
Great video as usual, the elites look great ❤
What an amazing experience you must have had out there. This looks like a good challenge for a session. Deffo will give it a go!
It was really fantastic thanks!
Nice Sarah! I'll have to add that workout to my next marathon plan.
Great job Sarah! I am going to add the sprint workout to my training.
Great video Sarah. I really need to start incorporating drills into my marathon training as a little sprinkling of conditioning.
Bolt looks great. Lovely video with all great Jamaican athletes.
Such an informative video. I'm working on doing a half marathon it's been 2 years since I had knee and ankle surgery
Cool video like always! I'm training for a marathon myself and your videos help me a lot with my training and motivation!
Great to hear!
Awesome video, very jealous of the stars you got to meet. Love your videos xx
I'm always amazed by sprinters. I've been adding strides to my workouts and running at an almost flat out sprint feels kinda insane, and that I don't have control over my legs! (and then I look at my watch and realise that's some peoples "easy" pace😆)
All the bests for the @Running Channel crew, Sarah got some great practice experience with the awesome Jamaica legends!🏃👏
That looked exciting! I'm in my summer holiday dip, and about to start running again 😅 I plan to try out some of the drills. I have never tried them.
Incredible! And now I know how to do A-skips properly!
Great video and very informative, I don't think people realise how hard sprinters work and train from technical, strength, and speed most days.
Great video! It must’ve been amazing to train with the pros in Jamaica!
I never realised Usain Bolt was so tall ! Lovely video and so cool to see how elite athletes warm up and work out!
I'm sooo jealous of Sarah meeting Usain Bolt! I had poster of him in my bedroom when I was a teenager 🤩 Such a legend!
he was a really nice man! Such an inspiration as well!
The shoes look absolutely amazing when doing the sessions and training drills. Not only do they make you look as good as a Pro but also as fast as a pro whilst doing your workouts.
Sarah is pure comedy. Always good content.
This must have been an amazing experience. Loved the video! Also, these shoes look pretty nice. I have yet to try carbon plated shoes, but it’s definitely on my list of future purchases!
Wow! What a place to go to and meet the fastest in the business! Been thinking of getting these once I’m injury free’ a little gift to myself
Great video Sarah! I got to start incorporating more drills into my training and this seem to be some great workouts. Love the shoes, been eyeing the Velocity and Deviate Puma's for a while now and might pick up a pair soon :)
Great enthusiasm as always! Love it
Love that sound of shoes on the track at 10:49. Sounds fast!
Nice video, i am also training for a longer distance. Your videos kinda give me a motivation to keep doing it.
Epic running Sarah, good tips from UB 🐐
Thanks for sharing this video. I’m always in training for a marathon but have not done sprint drills regularly. I’m going to work in some sprinting.
You got this!
I love doing my sprint sessions. They are the best part of the training week. Definitely going to give Usain Bolts recommendation a try.
Eeeeeeek i'd LOVE these shoes! 😍😍😍😍 Great video Sarah, I am definitely a long distance girly though 😂❤
Running my first marathon in November and you guys are why I’m doing it! Not convinced on the 100m training yet though…
Sprinting is such a different beast altogether. So hard to get back into that mindset when you’ve been focusing on 5k, 10k, half marathon or full marathon. Great video!
I love watching your videos. Love the channel.

Yes! More sprint content please. Great job Sarah.
Very lucky, what a trip! Great video seeing all the drills & hard work they do.
Watching this video makes feel the energy to go out for a run. Thanks for the inspiring video!
So Sarah says she's been doing high knees wrong all these years? She's not alone: Apparently so have I! Helpful vid, team!
Great to see Finsbury Park track from abroad! Love the look of those Nitros 😍
I’m definitely going to add those drills into my training plan, they looked really good
I think you should do a half marathon with those Nitros, a decent enough distance where you can throw some pace down - they are lovely though
Great video and that colourway is awesome for the Deviate Nitro Elite 3’s 🔥
Long distance is my thing, and I've never tried adding sprints. I might give it a go this week!
Really cool to see the pros do what they do best. I was surprised at the workout that Bolt chose.. it seemed so basic but clearly it works!
These look soooo good!
Great video Sarah 👏🏼 I always enjoy Running channels content from the videos to Podcasts. That must of been an amazing experience to learn new and different drills from such incredible athletes. Loved the training tips from olympic athletes! Puma deviate nitro look super comfy for super shoes, go for half marathon!
I am currently training for my first half-marathon so I would definitely like you see you running the same distance and get some tips from you on how you tackle a half-marathon ❤
The COLOUR of those shoes is so cool! Sarah you're right, it sounds easy to do such short efforts but actually working at maximum sounds so hard :')
Great video, as always!
Good advice from Mr Bolt 👍
What a great experience. I am so jealous. Great video!!!
Great video - and good advice to hear from the experts. Shoes look fast and if you find them great for short and long distances, I need to take notice!
