Dude Ngannou is fucking dangerous, and surprisingly skilled for a guy who initially became popular mostly due to his power. Like even his ground game has improved immensely, as well as his timing and patience. He has become such a polished powerhouse it’s actually cool to see. And I’m honestly lost when it comes to picking a winner of the Ngannou v Jones fight. I honestly think Ngannou had an edge at this point.

I’m just saying that Ngannou can take a lot of damage, not to mention that his evasive and defensive skill has improved immensely. All he has to do is wait, slip, and counter. He has the power and most of his many knockouts have been counters. He’s quick and accurate. Not saying Jones is gonna be an easy fight, but I think Ngannou will perform better than you’d expect. To say he’s gonna get eaten is a little bit unfair. Ngannou like 5 years ago would’ve been and easy fight, but current Ngannou is a different animal, a beast.

I've also knocked many people down, believing I'd KO'd, only for them to spring back up the moment I made space. Likewise people have knocked me down (and also out, but we don't talk about that haha) and gave me too much space to get up, they must have also thought they'd won.

Since there's no knockdowns you kinda have to keep going until a ref calls it (unless it's just completely obvious a guy is out.) Ngannou shows pretty decent restraint here in my opinion.
