Honeywell Controller Battery Replacement (FIX for A/C not working)

Realized my A/C wasn't working as well and noticed that the controller said "low bat" so I spent a good hour trying to take this thing out without breaking it. Realized it was from bottom to top to remove. Short video for how to get the controller working again.

After changing batteries that I know work because I tested them on my radio, I can't get the A/C to come on. It was not working and showing batteries low. So, I hunted online to finally find you that shows how to change the batteries on this type T-stat. Which was a pain. I had to use a screw driver for pressure to get the bottom thingies to unlatch. When I put it all back together nothing happens. Dead. Hmmm...
