I love eggnog in my coffee and have been drinking it that way for about 20 years. It's one of my favorite things! In fact, I freeze 6- half gallons so every other month, I can have eggnog to enjoy.
Not an eggnog fan.
Love your idea of keeping your tidying up even a little helps.
My tineco only lasted twelve months, I've found the Bissell 3 in 1 Hoover mop more powerful, it has two settings so you can even clean area rugs and it vacuums and leaves the floors a lot drier than the tineco ever did.

A few years ago I found out that egg nog is yummy with a little peppermint schnapps! Every year I can't wait until the stores start selling egg nog! I have also made it myself but... sometimes I'm just too busy to do it. Love all of your ideas!

These are great tips! You're right, you shouldn't have to wait until you have guests do enjoy the "fancier" stuff, we should enjoy them for ourselves. I do love eggnog, especially the Southern Comfort..but unfortunately it doesn't love me lol. Thanks for sharing your video!
I LOVE eggnog, but stopped all sugar decades ago! Instead, I put a LOT of cinnamon into the coffee before it's brewed-yum! Great thru the fall season into the new year. (I'll still be thinking of eggnog tho😃) Now back to your video 👍👍👍

yes I get motivated to super clean once a season too ! and YES my house looks like that under the bed too - but this year - I cleaned out my clsoet of everything I dont wear - my husband took a hit as well - 11 boxes later - all boots and shoes and shorts and jeans we had sizes ranging from 32-38 and 4- 8 (I am a 10 now)......even gowns - oh and bedsheets everything went to goodwill...Yeah that was only one closet!

Screen grabbed several things in here, but had to reply on your cleaning section. I agree, I like to see the behind-the-scenes messes. Gives us a realistic shot of the DIY process, so we don't feel like a complete failure. BUT...I have done MANY of your DIYs with success so THANK you!
Several years ago I bought a Dyson V 11 vacuum from QVC. We had a canister vacuum that my husband always uses. He didn’t want to use the Dyson at first but when he did all he does now is show me how much more stuff comes off the floor or carpet than our old vacuum

Eggnog in my coffee? YES! We've been doing it since before Starbucks. A neighborhood coffee shop called it their Falala latte! It stuck.

Great tips! I recently got a cordless vacuum on a black Friday sale and I am LOVING it! It's then super easy to take my steam mop over the floors. Yes, I know you have the 2 in 1 but I am loving what I have now! Another easy tip to make your home smell great when guests come over is to simmer some stuff in a pot on the stove. You could do cinnamon sticks, oranges, essential oils, vanilla, whatever combo you have on hand. And if we're talking time saving tips for when guests come, I've been loving the convenience of having premade cookie dough balls in my freezer. I'll make a batch of cookies and portion them out onto parchment lined trays (I find it helpful to flatten them a bit). Then when they're frozen, you can fit a ton into a ziplock bag and they're ready to bake up 1 or 2 dozen at a time. Fresh cookies for your guests in just a few minutes!

When my kids were younger, I would use flavored (powdered or liquid) coffee cream in pancakes. They loved them.

I really love the pink stuff from the Dollar Store. It makes my glass stovetop sparkle and it seems to stay cleaner longer. I also love Spic n Span cleaners from Dollar Tree for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. I haven't seen the peppermint sage one at our stores.

6:10 I've had a "would be" craft room for years - I'd buy a kit or craft supply thinking, "Ooh, that looks fun!" and chuck it into a bin or a pile, and never do anything with it. I literally took time off work this week with the intention of sorting through all my supplies and getting it functional. As of this afternoon, I finally did it! I'm so excited to get started. I never mind seeing other people's "real life" shots, because it becomes a point of connection and relatability.
Ok, LOVING the ice cubes. We're having a just us intimate Christmas Eve, basically our 1 night not going to some party, and we're trying to make it special. We have a HUGE rosemary bush in our front yard and a ton of cranberries left over from Thanksgiving. I'm DEFINITELY doing those for our Christmas Eve dinner and morning breakfast. Thanks so much for that!

It makes me feel like ok so they aren't perfect, im not as bad off as i thought i was . Still need an organization overhaul plus a massive declutter but I am still not that bad off .

YES! I love you for showing us your real process of dealing with your craft room tidy up. My guilt and your guilt need to go right out the window. We are creatives, we are people with families and pets and LIVES. It's ok for clutter to happen. It's ok to feel overwhelmed sometimes. We pick ourselves up and go at the accumulated untidiness and do what we can, when we can. Life is too short to be worrying about how others perceive ourselves and our craft rooms. Am I right?
Love that you shared the craft room. Years ago you had a suggestion to spend just 15 minutes cleaning and straighting a room and you'd be surprised how much you can get done. I use to feel overwhelmed but now I'm amazed at how much I can do in 15 minutes. Thank you for bringing your joy and positivity to us!

I absolutely *love* eggnog!!! I use it in my coffee too. I love it so much that I buy lots and freeze it so that I can have it throughout the year. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who uses their feet to tie bows. I love your ice cube ideas. You could do this at any time or year!👍🏾
That’s a great idea to freeze the eggnog because once it’s gone, it’s gone till next year. I stock up on celestial seasons seasonal tea- they are soooo good. I usually buy enough to get me through the year☕️🥰

Our family, well minus my daughter, loves egg nog! Southern Comfort brand is the best and it sells out fast in our area. My grandmother used to make a frozen egg nog pie. It was so good! I made an old family recipe that is served to the adults on my mom’s side when they get together. It took like 12 eggs and a lot of bourbon. I took it to a study group, not much studying done..
I have been looking at the Tineco on the BF sale. I have hesitated due to reviews of the battery not charging. Love the fancy ice cubes idea.

**THANK YOU FOR BEING REAL** this triggered an old memory of when my ex- ( emphasis on EX) husband ridiculed me because the baseboards underneath our bed headboard were dusty! This was from a man who never helped with our 2 kids, couldn't boil water, and rarely helped pickup after kids. I actually do a happy dance when I see other people's houses be less than perfect. it means they probably have their priorities straight!!!

Eggnog in my coffee is absolutely delicious to me. I just got the Tineco on an early Black Friday sale at Wally World and oh my goodness I love it. My broom is sitting the corner looking abandoned…lol Seriously though, my floors have never been cleaner (white sock tested)
