- Shapez.io Puzzle DLC - remember this game? It's a puzzle game now. I used to be sponsored by this game, as the main game is the purest factory optimization game ever made. Now, it's pure optimization puzzles, and I couldn't be happier.

It's been a while since I've checked out this game. Never in my wildest dreams expected a puzzle mode, but I'm so happy they added one.
I BEAT THIS MODE TODAY!! SO FUN
Love the content keep it up 👍
say... this is a mobile game, but do you know sandship? is basically this, but with story.
I've also not visited this game in a while. Idk if I'll buy the DLC, but I think I'll try and play a bit more.
Tyler you are just so handsome
I’ve actually just noticed how positive Tyler’s comment sections are. It’s all compliments for the game and him
Agreed! CZcams comments have been a lot of fun to read lately, warms my heart that people are having a good time
Puzzle gamers are always wholesome :)
@@deegobooster until someone makes a mistake
Day 1 of realizing how positive Tyler’s comment section is
But honestly it’s probably because we’re all watching right before bed as a part of our nightly wind down ritual so we’re all in good moods lol
That's actually a really cool concept: turning a kind of factory game into a puzzle game. Very clever and fun to watch!
It kinda reminds me of Factorio’s “belt madness” puzzles
@@teslapenguin1 beat me to it
Have a look at sandship, pretty good factory game with puzzles
@@teslapenguin1 was looking for this, he needs to try it
Tyler never updates late. The time is based off of when Tyler uploads.
Atomic clocks look up in awe to Tyler's definition of midnight.
13:19 yup 100% a windmill nothing wrong here
Was on the stram but already know what it's gonna be
EDIT: yep
*angry German noises*
It's not the nazi one, it's not rotated and its facing the wrong way. As it is it's the religious symbol for good luck.
@@adamhayes6667 well if you want to be more specific, the nazi symbol would be a bent saltire.
Either way the left-facing sauwastika is a sacred symbol in the Bon and Mahāyāna Buddhist traditions. And the right-facing swastika appears commonly in Hinduism, Jainism and Sri Lankan Buddhism.
I see your pfp
That fix on the windmill level to make it symmetrical. That's why I watch this channel
"Factorio without any of the bad stuff"
Now that's heresy!
As someone else in this comments section said, factorio without any of the bad stuff is factorio.
He meant like the insects
@@KopieOG jou don't have to play with them
@@simondiepenhorst1326 but why playing factorio then lol its just an idle game them
Feels and looks like an over-simplified Factorio to me.
Factorio without the good parts
Factorio is my most played game on Steam, but I could not get into shapez. There's nothing going on.
I love automation, but it should have a purpose
Loved this game ever since it came out, excited to see what the puzzles are like
Tyler’s eye for good games is impeccable
The windmill level 😳
I'll be honest your vids have been an amazingly inspirational escape from the world I don't like. If you see this please know that you have helped me through so mush. I think I speak for so many when I say thank you Tyler.
Underated
I really appreciate your enjoyment of the videos and kind words, but I also know that there's plenty out in the world worth enjoying. It's your responsibility to find it, and good luck in doing so.
@@Aliensrock You're a good guy Tyler

The “chat said i took X minutes” is really nice for some reason. I love the puzzles and am excited to see more, hopefully the editor has some challenging ones (:
That's a funny looking windmill
Ah yes definitely not something else
nice to see that you read comments, watching you every night is a habit of mine now and it always makes my midnights or mornings after nicer!
I like this especially because it could help people how to build semi-efficiently.
"Factorio without any of the bad parts" Ohoho, you picking fights today Tyler. (I mean fair enough, but still.)
I love how I can catch the stream of games being played and watch it on CZcams and immensely love watching both
really happy to see more shapez.io content!! i loved this game the first time you played it
super glad you covered this! i played for a few hours when it came out
Factorio without the bad parts is called factorio
Mindustry
@@Kaiokendrew HE SAID THE FUNNY WORD
Love your content man
man, I don't even like puzzles but I keep coming back, why is it so relaxing just watching this guy solve puzzles
Love your videos! ive been making instagram stories every time you upload for over 100 days haha! good work man keep it up!!
As soon as I saw the whole "This Game Is Open Source" thing in the bottom left corner of the intro I got real happy before realizing you need to pay to access the full game. My inner open source is saddened by this
Yeah, sadly "open source" does not exactly equal "free". I feel the pain.
Though, if you're tech savvy enough, I suppose you can just go to their open-source Github and build their latest stable release or whatever yourself, and then you'd have it for free... but of course, that's a lot of knowledge and hassle that some people may either not know how to do or not care enough to do to get around paying for the game on steam anyway. It's kinda a trade-off.
(Plus, open-source games can often garner community-provided improvements to the game-- if you look at credits in the Shapez.io update notes, he credits several other users for finding/fixing bugs or implementing feature ideas and stuff, so his dev work is lightened.)
They used to let people play a free version online, unsure if that's still a thing, but I played through the free, loved it, and later bought to support, and open more features.
The backend isn’t open-source, meaning you can’t build the puzzle dlc for yourself because it’s online and all that, that’s steam exclusive along with achievements and such
WOW I WAS LITERALLY JUST WATCHING THE SHAPEZ . IO VIDEOS BC I DIDN'T KNEW YOU PLAYED IT AND THIS HAPPENS HOW
So happy with your consistent uploads Tyler, so happy you’re making it big :)
You’d probably enjoy FactoryIdle if you like this. It’s free, runs in your browser, and has a focus on efficiency and factory planning. It does stagnate after a couple hours of play, as each upgrade becomes slower to get, but is exceptionally fun up until plastic and microchip assembly.
i wish you uploaded more tbh. i just can’t get enough of your content!
Whenever I need something g to watch, you are always here and its awesome.
Loved the video! You have an eye for good games
This game is absolutely amazing and it's great to see you play it again. The DLC gave me some evil puzzle ideas and it seems like a lot of people had the same idea lol. That said there's nothing else like finding that one little trick that solves it all. Hope to see you play some more of the puzzles and thanks for the content!
cool game, played well. often fun watching your videos in the morning
his puzzle solving skills never ceases to amaze me
Nice to see more shapez Tyler, what a relaxing game!
Cool, I can’t wait to try it
Looks pretty cool aswell, the dlc has been on my wishlist for a while now^^
Hey Tyler, nice video, I will probably try to play it later, also when you said it was a game similar to factorio it remembered me a game called mindustry, a hybrid tower-defense sandbox factory game. Shall I recommend to you to give a try :)
Oh, I think I played that once. It was good.
i love this game, hope you play more and even normal mode
If he considers shapes.io to be "factorio without the bad parts" then I have to wonder what he considers the bad parts to be
Enemies?
I'd recommend trying spacechem if you haven't yet. Its made by the same developer as opus magnum and the puzzles are similar to this dlc.
You get the upvote and comment for cleaning up that last level ^^
the hard puzzles in this are really fun, they sometimes rely on weird mechanics
This game seems wonderful, I might consider buying it!
Actually interesting, I wanna see more
ah something relaxing to watch thank you
One puzzle game I really like that I Toni would be cool to see you play is called DOX, it’s really interesting. It also does the thing where the tutorial puzzles are also still tricky
14:30 you made my day
This is super nostalgic.
Your content make me happy :3
this is like a simple version of 2d infinifactory haha, pretty cool
Really dope concept tbh
7:40 you can fill splitters so ou do that without connecting to inputs and then connect when all the splitters are filled
There's a gamemode like this for factorio too!
reminds me of some of the optional, not-story-related puzzles in Opus Magnum - i don't remember if they were DLC or not, but you had very small, very limited space to set everything up.
Man, the puzzle creator is great! When will you be taking codes for custom puzzles?
I like the idea of this game, also thats totally a interesting windmill lol
i also made a few unofficial puzzle levels
from level 1 to like 7 i made it near puzzle dlc release
0:15 - Nice to know you got your priorities straight
You can have two of the same colour tunnels interweave if they are in opposite directions.
I cant get over the name of the save in the beginning😂
Tyler you need to try they are billion or mindustry(for dem satisfying block building noise )
I love ur content never give up
Kewl vid 🤯🔥🔥
(sees title) finally tyler will play zachtronics games
If the custom level community is big and this is the next polybridge, I'm hyped
@Aliensrock you should tryout Infinifactory. Its a 3D factory puzzle game thats all about optimization and accuracy. Great vids!
Factorio actually also has a puzzle mode similar to this
Thanks for the viddy dad
Lvl 15 is a lil bit SUS… NEIN out of ten
Puzzles are the way.
Very good
Factorio without bad parts is just Factorio
The return
Imagine if there was a custom puzzle editor, co op, etc. That’ll be so awesome
there is a custom puzzle editor, the dev has said co-op doesn't work with the engine shapez.io is coded in
@@gijs337 I see, thanks for the info!
I would love for tyler to play some factorio, he would probably get completely lost in its complexity
Watching this while high I have no idea what's going on
Is this a right-winged windmill? Seems pretty swatiska-ish
I've never been this early but I gotta get that content
This seems way cooler then the original game
Bleentoro is also a great game.
Yooo more of this content
Hay tyler there is a really good strategy builder game called frostpunk!
If you liked this try Mindustry :)
Hi aliensrock how's it going?
There's a really cool new indie style strategy game that I think you might like called Warpips. it has a brutal learning curve and if you lose all of your lives you have to start from the beginning but it's hella fun!
factorio also has that kind of thing with belt madness and the "challenge" modes
Not enough bugs eating your well designed layouts.
7:26
'INTENTIONAL GAME DESIGH*
anyone else see his saves at the start?
Tyler, I think you should check out Factorio if you enjoyed this
even shapez io is against the Router stack
You should try out Mindustry, it's like shapes.io and factorio. Its very heavy on strategy not a puzzle game at all which I know you loke, but you enjoyed shapes.io so I feel you would like Mindustry. You can buy it on steam for I think like 5 bucks or get it for free on itch.io
D. i. l. d. o. Factory? Tell me I wasn't the ONLY ONE who SAW THAT?
BABA MOBLE? WHERE THE FUCK DID THAT COME FROM
i watched the stream!
How did i know he would do this
Day 2 of asking Tyler to bring back sum
Summertime madness
Tyler you are a great CZcamsr and an amazing streamer! could you check out sandship?
Hmm is it a coincidence that another shapez video got recommended just 2 days ago?
Yesssss shapez.io
Sup?
Can I recommend Infinifactory?
