Oh wow you bought both! Im British, living in Germany with my boyfriend. We travelled to Thailand and stayed in Koh Lanta for nearly 2 weeks. Such a chilled out, beautiful island. It even had a German bakery when we were there! (2016). We dream of being this brave and just moving back out there. Hope you guys are living the dream.
I preferred the first one. It had a bigger restaurant that was already running, the rooms we turnkey so immediate income potential, the owner's quarters needed reno and TLC and it would have been the perfect place for them.

Yeah, we took on a big job, but so for it's working out and is really fun!
We did have some investors helping out to be able to go this big.
