@@Paul20661 ay take yo time. Yeah it's real short though, they tried to tell a lot in a very short anime, shoulda' made like 5 to 10 eppys more. And honestly, u can't really have a happy ending in night city so I'm glad that the best outcome became the ending.
This song is so good for Edgerunner it’s kinda hard to believe it wasn’t made for it
Its hard to believe any of the ost wasn't made specifically for the anime!
The game and anime was made together so the song kind of was made for it
@@yukikoRT What makes you think the game & anime were made together? Genuine question since the game's been announced in 2013 and the anime is... much newer than that.

I fully agree. I wish the game didn't get as much hate as it did.
The game is so tragic bro WHAT
@@popelidups9217 Don't exaggerate! The story was very good and many bugs were fixed.
@@Aleks96 I think choom means the emotional content of the game can be pretty depressing on its own. But like a sad song, a sad story can also hit you right where you need it during depressive spells.
@@popelidups9217 the game was far from bad. I'll be the first to admit it didn't hit what it promised to be at all but it's still an amazing game.
I’m glad they used so much of the game’s music in Edgerunners. Cyberpunk is alive and well. 😌
And so many of the sounds from the game.......walk....walk....don't walk....don't walk🤣
Whoever came up with the idea to add the "hu!"s was a genius. They add a whole extra layer of oomph and atmosphere to the song
There is something so distinctively late-90's about this track, it almost reminds me of like, ska
I may be wrong, I'm not entirely sure, but rat boy has worked with Tim Armstrong, Rancid's vocalist, so I'm thinking he is singing in this song, it sounds like his voice, so if they worked together for this song then that might be the reason why this song has that 90's appeal

Yes! Glad to see I'm not the only one in the team "all the time". Some say it's "oh that's fine" but I'm always answering imagine you write the song, you want it to have sense. I love it
Here after finishing Edgerunners amazing song to play throughout the show
One of those songs preventing me from getting out of the car...
Favorite moment playing 2077 was stumbling across a 6th Street block party at sunset and earning their respect in a shooting contest. This was playing on the radio at the party and it was one of the few times in the game I got to slow down and see people just having a little fun in such a brutal city.
Here's to you, 6th Street. You're by far the least fashionable gang in the city, but damn if you don't know how to throw a party.
A perfect song for the perfect calm before the storm that is about to come on the crew's way.
And in the end David became a legend of night city
Didn't even know who this guy was was till this game he's fire 🔥
I don't remember this from the game but i instantly loved it when watching the first episode of the anime.
It's hard to believe this song wasn't made specifically for edgerunners because the lyrics perfectly represent david's journey throughout the series
Gotta admit, Cyberpunk Edge Runners was great
Had to desecrate Adam Smasher’s corpse again in the game after listening to this great song in remembrance of David. This slaps so hard.
Edgerunners rise up! Woooo!
Glad they used this on anime too so underrated.
The anime was pure perfection in representing night city and its locations. You can almost imagine the characters exploring how one explores as V
the lyrics really nail David's situation
Yes dead like disco
Really fits for Maine/David crew
You listen to this one instead of wanna stay at your house if you really love the show and vibe and wanna look back, but don’t want the clinical depression it included 🎉
Lol I listen to both.
or because it's a good song
@Anderson are you REALLY SURE OF THAT CHOOM?????? BECAUSE I DID NOT SEE NO DAVID MARTINEZ BODY LIKE REBECCA........
@Anderson Actually, if you look at the main character deaths there's a theme. They show it from multiple angles, and you always see the body (except Maine because, ya know, he got 'sploded apart). All EXCEPT for David. I have a good feeling he's alive, being brainwashed by Arasaka for whatever purpose. Maybe not in the upcoming DLC, but possibly in the sequel maybe? That's my theory anyway
Both… both are good
Heard this from the cyberpunk edgerunners series it's 🔥🔥
I romanced Judy in the game.....after finishing all her quests I was riding along the highway as the sun was setting and she sent me a cute text (the pumpkin one) and I smiled to myself because it reminded me the first time a got a text like that from my girlfriend all while this song was playing in the background......it was something special.
Edit: I'm glad people are discovering some of my favorite songs from the game that went really unnoticed. Check out "So it goes by Fingers and the outlaws" another song from the game that I like a lot but also went unnoticed.

Edgerunners does a way better job at showcasing this ost lol
I mean, the game doesn't really have many opportunities for music like this. It was made primarily for the radio, not the cinematics. TV shows and movies are more known for incorporating songs in their scenes than games.
@@thewatcher7940 agreed, I thought it could fit begging cinematic with Jackie, but Run The Jewels is a better choice, plus cp77s tone is too dark even at the beginning of the game for this great, but optimistic kind of song.
