The shiny unpainted aluminium finish looks absolutely amazing, more flashlight manufacturers should have this option by other lights

Great video! How do you install and remove the glow rods or tritium rods from the flashlight? Do they click into place or do you have to use some sort of adhesive? My Noctigon kr1 has a trit slot in the back and I was curious about installing one.
Ideally, UV glue, but I just use a tiny dab of superglue

So the glow rods in the tail don't get illuminated by the light like the ones in the head or they do? If not I may get tritium for the rear 4.

I just received my WP4 today. When the lamp is OFF, the rear switch is stays ON always ? Is it OK to do this ? Or it will turn OFF after a while ? When I am not use this lamp should I unscrew it ?

The rear switch will stay illuminated when the light is off, unless you lock out with a quarter turn of the cap. I replaced the switch with a non illuminated one from a Convoy S2.

ayant une dizaine de petites lep flaslights , cette astrolux est devenue ma favorite et même ma préférée , et pourtant j'adore lumintop en LEP aussi , mais cette wp4 est la meilleure à mes yeux , à longue portée , son hotspot est légèrement plus large que mes autres LEP de même équivalent et c'est pour ça que je la préfère aux autres . et avec son tube 18350 elle est géniale , petite , la tête n'est pas comme la thor 2 et reste de taille de la thor 1 , personnellement je l'adore , l'aluminium est magnifique de cette couleur , je l'ai aussi de cette couleur , il faut que je commande quelques glow sticks bleu cyan et vert e quelques rouges . je l'ai eu à 80 euros en promotion , avec le tube court et le long, le glow ring pour la tête , l'accu 18650 astrolux , et un chargeur astrolux , franchement à ce prix c'est une bonne affaire .

I ordered 4 tritium vials for the tail cap. Do they just pop into place or do you have to glue them?
Ideally UV glue but i usually use a dab of super glue

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I'd be afraid to use super glue on Tritium they cost so much. Not looking to permanently affix them just temporarily. BTW, only green, yellow, and white glow really good the other colors aren't that bright. My purple and blue aren't that bright. Not sure if you have any just saying.

I just got my wp4 from banggood in the mail yesterday and I love it !! I also have the LUMINTOP THOR 1, the WP4 and the Thor 1 are very similar, it would be great to see you make a video with both the lights in it . They are similar in size and specs .

@@darnacehead05 WOW that's a tough question . The THOR 1 steps down a little automatically after 5 min. the WP4 seems to step down alot slower. THOR 1 beem is slightly larger and opens up larger a little quicker over a shorter distance , which is nice . The WP4 beam is slightly tighter . The THOR 1 has memory WP4 doesn't which is no big deal the UI is so simple. I can't choose , you should go with what light looks " MORE COOLER" to you . The WP4 you get more "GOODIES" in the the box for you money. I know more technical stuff but , like I said they are very similar. The build quickly they are both good . I hope this helps and makes sense .
@@darnacehead05 I forgot to say, the wp4 you have to buy those little glow tubes to plug the light that escapes out the side of the head, they are very expensive, like $4 per tube and that is times 12 or you can buy the cheap ones for a dollar a piece which are junk but at least they plug the holes. I bought the dollar ones because I can't justify spending $58 on little glow tubes. That's my opinion. they don't glow but at least they plugged the holes. The Thor 1 you don't need all that. But the expensive glow tubes look really cool so it depends on what is important to you.

Looks cool, but the performance is bleh compared to many other LEP lights.
If that light beam can also be widen great, and not just narrow like its been shown here it's only good at long distances and not up close where you would need a wide beam
Long throw is literally the whole point of an LEP like this.
It's basically a way of seeing over 1200m without having to carry a huge flashlight
Acebeam L19 is the better choice.

Whilst I find the tech cool, the beam on these is just too narrow to be useful to me.
It's useful for some of us. It's perfect for hunting attached to a rifle - no spill to light up the proximate surroundings, just the target. It's amazing for that.

I feel like an LEP has to be very bright and noticable at long range to justify it. This didn't do it for me. Cool looking though.
Just wanted to warn everyone. If you buy the regular just GITD rods you have to charge don't get purple. 2x I ordered purple from 2 different places they don't glow whatsoever!!!! They look black after charging they don't light up literally at all!!!
Purple need UV light to charge. Aqua and green are the only real choices tbf
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I tried the UV on purple and it glowed for an entire 3 seconds. You're right the blue and green and lighter colors are the only ones worth getting.
