I just got inventora last Friday! I’m just a hobbyist now but I have hundreds of ingredients so I figured it would still be helpful. I hope to one day turn it into a business, thanks for your videos Steph!

I actually started with candles and the first was terrible lol so I didn’t find it very fun and somehow I saw someone making soap so I started following a bunch of wonderful CZcamsrs (yourself included) and buying ingredients. I have made cold process soap (like 5 times), sugar scrubs, one batch of body butter, lotion bars, and lots and lots of bath bombs. I have 3 kids who also love trying the products but also prevent me from making them 🤦🏼♀️ I have a day job as well but the flexibility allows me more time than the traditional 9-5 and making products to me feels so rewarding and definitely helps my mental health. I have circled back to candles and understand them so much more now so I am in the testing stage in quite a few of those as well 😊
I have the free version of inventora! I’m so small though, I just forget to go in and put the batches/product in 😬😅 Trying to get better at that lol

Why are you not wicking prior to pour?
I don’t use wick stickers for a few reasons, but mainly because it makes less waste and it also makes it easier to clean out the containers after someone uses them, which I like because I make refills for these 😊
I’m also planning to get a website for the first time in the next few months (have been only on Etsy). I know you do a lot of local to you stuff, but do you find most of your sales come from online?
At the moment, I’m really bad about keeping website inventory updated so I’m mostly making sales through events and wholesale. I’m hoping to change that in the future, though!
Time is such an issue fir ne I just want to see how u make your candles.
