You’re the best !
Or 198 Celsius
First time I had these they were made from scratch from a friend of mines mom when we visited her in PA they were fantastic been hooked ever since but I dont see me making from scratch lol so I buy them frozen to at my local store.
I never tried them made from scratch, they must be amazing!
@@MelanieCooksRecipes Oh yea they were and for the record after my first comment I went in the kitchen and did them your way I just opted for cooking spray vs the oil best I ever ate not soaked in oil just a tender lightly golden brown in half the time 😅 I did the 4 cheese medley even though there all great no matter what flavor.
@@terrymace4065 awesome, I'm so glad you enjoyed the air fryer pierogies!
Several grocery stores have them around here them as well as Walmart. I'll try your method tonight, thanks. Normally I just cook mine with a little chicken broth in a covered saute pan. They are not brown, but they are tender.
You are welcome! Cooking them in the air fryer is easier then on the stove as you don’t have to watch it like the frying pan
So, these tasted like cardboard on the outside. Although the inside was cooked. I tried boiling the "p"s first and it helped in my second batch. The outer dough needs moisture or it will be cardboard.
I like the crunchy dough :) It's not to everyone's taste though, if you don't like it than boiling them first is a great idea!
👍🏻 correct! That's the TRUE European process to making some good perogies
That's your opinion, which we disagree. Good bye
There usually served with sour cream
I never had any of those. They look good so I might try them someday if I can find them. Don't remember ever seeing pierogies.
They have them in a frozen foods isle in most supermarkets. Give them a try, they are so yummy 😋
It’s hard couldn’t find them in Tennessee for months and I eat them often. I’m in main Maine now and find them everywhere again.
Good job, thanks. 😊 I was wondering how to do it...
Glad I could help! 😊
I cook mine in a non skillet with butter, on medium heat till browned. I like your air fryer better so I will give it a go. Thanks.
Awesome! Please let me know how it turns out!
They come out great.
@@georgechapman1340 I'm so glad to hear!
used frozen costco perogies, followed your directions to a T on my brand new air fryer brushing both sides of the frozen perogies with sesame oil. They were cooked but not brown. I then sprayed with the Kirkland cooking oil spray and broiled 450F for 3 min in addition to the stated 8 min air fry cooking directions at 390F. Cooked buy not browned.
But you get a thumbs up because you are cute
Lol thanks for the thumbs up!
Thanks a million! Making this as I watch!
They look super yummO. The perfect snack 🤗😃
Thanks, David! 🤗
i'm going to try this tonight. looks good. love my air fryer.
Hope you enjoyed!
easier just to put them in a ziplock bag with some oil and mix them up can even add seasoning to the oil IE: Salt, pepper or whatever you choose.
Thanks for the tip!
can you please tell me how to convert time and temperature from oven to air fryer timings please
I usually lower the temperature by 25F and shorten then time by 10 min. Start there and then check to see if it's cooked.
Now I have something for a school snake, thanks alot
You are welcome! Hope you meant school bake 😂
Testing it out tonight for din din!
Awesome! Hope you enjoyed!
Thank You Melanie.
You are welcome!
Thank you! I'm trying Onion and Potato!
You are welcome! Please let me know how it turns out!
They look very nice...thanks for sharing.
You are very welcome!
Thanks so much they came out well
You are welcome! I’m so happy you enjoyed them!
You're so sweet, and actually those pierogies looked really good. I use paper liners in my air fryer. Easier clean up
Thank you for the compliment!
I just bought some and made them last night. Yum!!
I’m so happy you enjoyed them, Brenda!
Thank you very much! Came out perfect for the family.
You are welcome! I’m so happy you enjoyed the pierogies!
Did you preheat?
I never preheat the air fryer :)
Don’t use a metal spatula, it will ruin the finish on the fryer. Silicone tongs are better
This spatula is not metal, it’s coated with rubber :)
I’m lost your apron says Melonie cooks but you put frozen food into a air fryer in just post which part of this was cooking it’s like throwing something in the air fryer why didn’t ya make them from stratch if you say your a cook??
Turning frozen food into cooked is cooking 😂 I also have plenty of from scratch recipes on this channel, check out all my videos here:

Do you buy your pierogies at a regular grocery store or a specialty grocery store? They look great!😋
I get mine at Aldi
Thank you! I also Googled and Fry’s has them too! Maybe Trader Joe’s also as there is no Aldi here. I guess I just never saw them because I wasn’t looking for pierogies.😋
Regular grocery store, they have them in frozen foods isle
@@MelanieCooksRecipes Thanks! I found some at Fry’s and cooked several onion and potato last night.😋
@@patriciageorge9648 awesome! I'm so glad you found them! 😋
You lost one.
Great job.
You are beautiful.
Stay safe.
Lol you are very observant about losing one pierogi 🤣 One flew out of the basket when I was removing them and we edited that part out 🤣 Thank you for the compliment!
@@MelanieCooksRecipes
I watch you all the time.
Learned so much from you.
I use my air fryer more often now because of you.
God bless.
Beautiful. Stay safe.
@@anthonymartone6246 thank you! God bless!
Melanie💓👀
🤗🤗
i ddint know it was that hard
Lol it’s easy, try it :)
You should learn how to edit your videos, so rather than watching you struggle, trying to turn over the perogies you can just flip one over and than fast forward to them all flipped over. Just a little suggestion to make your videos more enjoyable. Thanks for video.
You are welcome and thanks for the suggestion
really should have edited down all that brushing
feel free to fast-forward
@@MelanieCooksRecipes I did, the technique was really helpful it was just a lot of time spent on brushing and it'd be a neater package with a little editing. not trying to talk down or anything and I hope you have a lovely day.
Or don't brush. I put them in a bowl, drizzle the oil, and toss till coated. I also add sliced kielbasa...no need to worry about overlapping in the air fryer.
Could have cut this video down to less then 3 mins. No need for us to see you open the package or pour oil into cup. Could have started off with the pierogies in the air fryer. Show us the package real quick, then the oil and brush it on whie stating to keep some space between them as you have it. Then we don't need to see you flip each one. Just flip one and say 'Do the same for the rest then put it back into the fryer. When done we don't need to sit here and watch you take out each one and plate it. You should already have that done.
If you put the playback speed to 2x then it's a 3 min video technically imo sounds like a skill issue on your side
don't be so critical--
Feel free to use the fast-forward button 😂
