Various shots of firemen going through a firefighting exercise before a small crowd at a fire station. The audience seems to be mostly made up of press men and women. The firemen arrive in several fire engines and demonstrate their skill by training their hoses on a tower. They climb to the tops of their four extending ladders (this part looks like a photo opportunity rather than a serious exercise!) and then rescue some people from the tower
