Full respect to Gary O’Neill for his calm and honest interview.
I would just say it like it is and take the fine/ban. It has gone too far now, Wolves have lost about 10 points from refs this season I think.
All this full respect BS say what you feel but you don’t wanna prove Arteta right
Lmao arteta was right
Yep, stay calm and let them keep taking points away from you 😉
@@mrkaosboxinguk1054 i'm an Arsenal fan so yeah I do. But maybe the way Gary conducted himself is the way that the PGMOL will actually wake up and listen. Shouting and calling them a disgrace won't.
Cundy 100% right the way football has gone neymar would have a field day getting penaltys if he played here
Fr tho I might be dreaming to be a footballer just so that I can dive in the box
I don’t even know if he would cause VAR also miss the most blatant penalties too
Last season it was Brighton, this season wolves. I am a Liverpool fan but I am gutted for Gary O’Neil and wolves fans.
The 2 teams that take points off the big 6 get punished, what a crazy coincidence
It was wolves last season as well .
VAR has ruined the great game
No the people using it are useless
It’s not VAR it’s the people using it. It worked really well in the world cip
It's the refs not a video screen
@@ronocccthat's full automated VAR and Premier League teams voted that out.
It's not VAR, it's the refs, always been inconsistent, now they just have another tool to be inconsistent with, also VAR was not better in the world cup - that's some selective memory / Mandela effect
If pgmol give wolves an apology every game at least we know what to expect 😂 corrupt refs and howard webb needs the sack
So Jamie says Gordon goal against arsenal should be allowed but this tonight is a pen 🤣🤣🤣
Just arsenal fans making more excuses because they know there gonna bottle the league again 😂
@@MrProGhostedWho u support?
@@Bracey-212 wouldn’t matter who I support? Id say 90% of fans who ain’t arsenal fans think they will bottle it again cmon bro don’t be so silly
@@MrProGhostedIt's nice to be in a title race tho. It's just funny hearing it from people who support a team who aint never been in one 😂
@@Bracey-212 you really think your “in a title race” in November December deluded
Yet if Arteta had said all this you lot would be calling him a disgrace.
Bang on...short memory syndrome the lot of them!
Wolves manger acted like a man talking to other men.. arteta cried on the floor of the supermarket because he didn’t get the candy he wanted.. I was embarrassed for him
@@scottjohnson3971 Wolves can't win the league and won't get relegated despite this. BIG difference.
If it was Arsenal VAR, doing the right thing 😂😂now, you are against it today .
arsenal fans at it again with the victim mentality, embarrassing
@@Ky-tz4pf VAR children here defending VAR pathetic
Arsenal fan with a victim mentality.. what's new?
Lol the caller who said it happens every week Ahh Diddums wolves victim mentality is soooo embarrassing and the liverpool victim mentality against the spuds was soooooooo embarrassing 😂
Arsenal fans crying about correct decisions, take a sit kids we are talking about actual wrong decisions here.
We've had as many points deducted as everton now and we weren't even charged with anything 😂😂 if i dont laugh I'll cry
Take it from a Gooner, whose brother is and always has been Wolves through and through. It's a disgrace how The Wolves have been robbed this season. And I feel the same, whatever team is treated this way.
👍🏾
@leroysimon5692 I know every team has had atleast 1 bad decision go against them but we have literally been denied 9 points due to awful officiating that they actually came out and apologised for . We would be fighting for Europe we would only be 6 points behind you at the top of the league! It's outrageous we get it every week but we have to keep going I suppose
Unluckiest team in the prem. getting howlers every week.
What you on about? Everton got found guilty ages ago lol.
If that contact would lead to a penalty so why was Newcastle's goal against Arsenal given? Gabriel was pushed, we saw Joe Linton's hand but yet they said that push is not enough to make Gabriel fall.
🤫bro you are making way too much sense for arsenal fans.. they believe what happened to them is the crime of the century and everyone who disagrees is just a hater.. they think arteta is a hero for crying about why 50/50 calls don’t go his way
CAWAYYIINGG OVER YOU 😢
"No one in this planet doesn't know that's a redcard"......spot on mate
If that happened to Tottenham O’Hara would be changing his tune.
100%...Rose tinted
So they call that enough contact for a penalty but Onana missing the ball and spearing Kaladjic isnt a foul........i dont know what the rules in football are anymore!!
I'm a villa fan and this keeps happening to wolves
It’s a joke it was awarded a penalty… I am an arsenal fan and I don’t care about either team… but this is getting ridiculous… players are just running to defenders and manufactures a foul
this is not football there is no quality they’re just getting in the box and looking for a foul it’s so cringe to watch football these days
very much so and its costing wolves every time
Cundy on the old ❄️ again,he cant stop moving 😂😂😭
Was wondering why his moustache had dandruff
🤣🤣
Ohara thinks absolutely everything is a pen or he’d have to admit Kane spent his entire career diving all over the place
Contact is not a foul !!!!!!
anywhere else on the pitch he would've kept running but since it's in 18 yards he decides to go down and he is not brought down
What's a disgrace is that O'hara has a job as a pundit
👋🏾👋🏾👍🏾
As a wolves fan it’s nice to see it’s finally getting some light on the situation, feels like the prem is out to get wolves relegated
Your team have been cheated off over and over again and I fully feel for Wolves. The three penalties that were awarded yesterday, two were illegitimately given against you and one which was given for you was legitimate, but Wolves should have played against 9 men, Ream and Vinicius were guilty of their challenges which should have been retrospectively punished on the field. The Wolves fans were cheated off by the referee and the Wolves players did not deserve to lose that match.
@@fusionsuper34 feels like it’s common thing now for wolves to be shafted
Funny how clear and obvious is subjective. The ref said no penalty. VAR shouldn't even looked at it. Not a penalty
That was never a penalty Fulham’s second 100% player played for it but never should’ve been a pen
We (Wolves) should be 6th/7th in the league if VAR weren’t corrupt!
Football will no longer be a physical game. Players know any contact can be made into a foul so if you touch a player its a foul and the cameras will always pick up people touching people
Touching someone isnt a foul
This is virtually every week if you are a Wolves fan. It is unfathomable. For Wolves a ''shock result'' is not getting done by the refs.
BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD, WORST REFS IN THE WORLD.
Both pens Fulham got were so little contact it was like a feather touched them then they go down too soft too harsh never pens ever 30 years ago no one would’ve complain about that not being given
We can complain about the what ifs truth is we just aint good enough
I honestly think all 3 penalties were really soft, but at least the ref was consistent with it. It’s impossible for the ref to know how much contact is a foul, so if there’s ANY contact they give it…
These things were all happening before VAR technology but now they've got something to blame 😂😂
@@matthewmulholland1797everything looks worse on VAR. Slow motion and freeze frames make everything look like a foul
The Wolves penalty was plenty fair. He shoves him out the way and blocks him getting the ball with a clear foul.
The first 1 is absolutely nowhere near a pen.
Especially if that joelinton foul is fine on Gabriel
Liverpool fan here, disgrace that the 1st one was a penalty. He literally got the ball.
It’s not a “disgrace” yeah they’re soft but at the end of the day it’s 50/50 I’d say the wolves pen was the softest one, it’s just hollywood refs and var trying to prove a point in this country and be the centre of attention every time
As anyone seen chelsea.
IM WITH JASON ON THIS .NICE TO SEE SOMEONE WITH PASSION
That’s more than passion. Thats pure columbian ❄️ 😂😂😂😂
How can OHara, a football pundit, not know that not every contact in the penalty area is a penalty. If a contact isn't a foul then it's not a penalty.
We’ve all been brainwashed so much that many have forgotten it’s a contact sport. When I hear commentators talk about contact I just cringe.
that has truly made me against var that was never a pen. not a wolves fan. its disgusting that was given, contact does not mean its a pen
Cundy been on the sniff or something? Moving around more than a box of frogs
Quite agree, get rid of VAR 👍🤬😡!!!!!!
There is, or should be, a difference between contact and a foul.
There are literally screenshots of the officials laughing as the 2nd Fulham penalty is given at 2-2, and some are still wandering why we think the game is unfair, lol
Foul on gabriel? Yeah there is two hands on his back. No its not a peno because is there enough contact.
Tonight there is minimal contact so its a foul.
Anyone see the problem here
The second one is not a penalty. The defenders does not stick his foot out and the attacker ran into the defender. If attackers running into defenders is a penalty then the game is dead!!!
Mistakes will happen, with or without VAR. For the time VAR takes and for the way it sucks the soul out of the game! I really wish we could go back to a time when we only had the ref's decisions to complain about and when we could celebrate a goal WHEN it is scored!
Wolves is getting it really bad with VAR this season, it’s a joke. Totally agree with Cundy
How do we solve VAR? Get rid of it!! Keep goal line tech etc automated offside.. but leave the ref to ref
When did contact mean foul?
Cundy is right, a terrible penalty decision that has robbed Wolves of a well deserved point! Hope Atwell gets sacked.
For me, the first Fulham pen is no way.. Their second is very soft!
I agree with your caller I am one of many I don't watch football anymore
The problem is that referees have interpreted any VAR intervention then they MUST take the VAR's opinion. It's fine for VAR to have other angles and eyes that can see things the ref couldn't. Let the ref watch them and then make a decision on whether to change the call on the field but they should be under no pressure to take the VAR's opinion.
Ref Salisbury is the ref that has been at all the VAR controversy the last 2 seasons. I'm with Cundy on this. No way near a penalty on the last one. It's an embarrassment. Jamie he doesn't touch him. O'neill must be wishing he was on another planet with the decision against his team. I feel for Wolves fans this season. I know how they feel. Me as Brighton fan, we had it all last season. Looks like PGMOL will be cutting down more trees so they can write some more apology letters to O'neill. Absolute disgrace. How long are these clubs going to put up with it
The fact that the first penalty was given which it shouldn't of been set a pretence for the 2nd to be given but the odd thing being is where VAR gets involved it stays out of the first one where the ref got it wrong but includes itself for the 2nd for when the ref got it right. Shows a complete lack of knowledge of how to apply VAR into the game. Nobody in Stockley park knows what they are doing and is making it harder for the ref to make the right decision
I’m not a cundy fan but ur absolutely right mate football has gone to the dogs
As a staunch supporter of Mikel Arteta, I am just here to laugh and enjoy. Only my manager has the guts to say it as it is. The referees are appalling and needs to improve. Now they are ranting 😂😂😂
You can tell by Jamie’s face at 04:00 he’s like ahhh yeah that isn’t a pen tbf lol
He dived half way across the box lol. I don’t know how var are missing these things,
Respect to Cundy.
Never a penalty, there was a huge tackle that looked like a foul before penalty. Wolves have pgmol on speed dial this season
Softest penalty ever, Vinicious should have a red, Lemina never deserved a yellow (will miss the Arsenal game). The refereeing was poor, but that's the standard expected at the moment sadly.
The problem with VAR is it's just entirely there to protect refs, that second Fulham pen is a pen for me, but how on Earth is it clear and obvious enough to overturn and the first own isn't? It's ridiculous at this point
Ream got away with one as well last man gives a pen away and already on a yellow? So how didn’t he get sent either? & Vinicius is most blatant red I’ve ever seen 🤣 I’m an Everton fan but I’d be gutted if I was a wolves fan done big time
So u cant make contact at all the penalty area? You can make contact and it not be a penalty...
Totally agree with Jason here
Absolutely not a penalty at the end, not a wolves fan but got to feel bad for them at this point.
Sadly football does not bring much joy anymore. Can't really celebrate too many goals these days; not sure what is offside and not; what is handball or not; enough contact for a foul or not. TMO I'm Rugby do the same. I understand the need for technology and it can help but ultimately the man on the pitch should have the final say. They can't be allowed to be influenced so much.
Can’t wait for Jim White to stick up for his referee mates again
Also btw that headbutt is no foul at all? Cos the player didnt roll on the floor? I saw yellows for kicking a ball away for showing emotion. But thats not? But then that touch was penalty? Is this boxing or is god damn football.*
*I actually typed this before the first caller lol.
The ref didn’t see it and I have seen the video in slow motion he barely even touched him calm down
Jamie it's not the point whether you or VAR think it is a pen, the question is whether it was 'clearly a pen' you could see why the ref didn't give it therefore, it is not clear and obvious !!
That referee needs to be send to the national league It's a disgrace
What have the national league done?
Forget VAR. The important issue of the day is how does the Wolves GK get to wear near the same kit as his outfielders 😀
Mario and Luigi
Itsa ME!!! Jason!
Funny how pundits have switched from hammering referees to hammering var.Remove var and it'll be back to referees.
var is refs
At what point is this CORRUPTION.😂
Salah and Nunez always get pens in the way Harry Wilson got it, it’s always a pen
The first one isn’t
Neither of Fulham's 2 penalties were penalties.
Come-on guys....what has happened to football....its pathetic.
Cundy is 100% right- i couldnt agree with him more
Is O’hara ok? How is that a penalty, he doesn’t even touch him. 😮🤯
Even without VAR people would argue about decisions just like these two.
Problem is the officials. In American football the refs are usually full time lawyers, meaning they know the rules backwards and forwards. Then the broadcasts have a former longtime ref come on in real time and explain what the ruling will likely be to the viewers based on his expertise. Moral to the story: if you’re going to use replays to change calls then you need to get the viewing public on board right away. Bottom line: The PL is messing this up so badly.
Even worst when the referee doesn't get to look at the screen for the first penalty!
The Semedo penalty an even clearer mistake. Kilman not going down after being head butted, also scandalous, because now we can teach schoolchildren in the UK that "soft head butts" are allowed in the modern game.
I think the the Fulham pens where soft tbh. Im a Liverpool supporter so no interest in the result. Just my opinion. Shocking decisions again🤯😔
THE PL CLUBS NEED TO HAVE A MEETING AND DEMAND BETTER REFEREING AND BETTER VAR,
Dermot Gallagher is an experienced referee but i promise you he has no balls to say that the officials are incompetent.
Blackburn fan. Like dyche said what is the point of going to the monitor. Wolves have been shafted big time. Best of luck for rest of season
Love seeing Cundy losing it 😂 can anyone hear Jason Cundy ??? 😂
The fact that it’s up for debate is the issue. It’s not a “clear and obvious” error by the referee, so why are VAR and Stuart Atwell re-refereeing the game.
Well, he did allow the referee to look at it himself.. he could have said no penalty himself regardless of what VAR suggested
@@infonotfound7630 Which would have made sense if he made the same suggestion for the 1st decision. But he contradicted himself within the same game.
Never in a million years is that a pen, From a man city fan
If that is a penalty at the end, please explain how Havertz from Man United which was GIVEN by the ref was then overturned by VAR? Identical.
Havertz initiated contact. Neither of them are a penalty…Havertz decision was correct.
Cundy is on the gear 100%
Was looking for someone else to mention this
I thought that other week. I hope he can get help if true.
That third pen was not a penalty, he dived! Omg, Jamie you need glasses
been a big fan of football all my life not just my team i used to watch every game i could. but not no more only watch my team now V.A.R killed the game for me
Was never a howler so VAR shouldn't have intervened
i agree with jay..no penalty
V.A.R means it should not be up for debate!! Turn it off
I just can’t understand how something can be so inconsistent! The penalties were bad enough, but for Carlos Vinícius to only receive a yellow for a headbutt, just sums up the low quality referees we have in this country. I feel like we are fighting a losing battle and maybe trialling a month of no VAR maybe a last result answer to all these stupid decisions and the blame can only be pinpointed on the ref, the four official and the linesmen!
he barely even touched him…. It’s embarrassing how people like you think that’s a red card, football is gone😂
a bit embarrassing to call that a headbutt when he barely touched him
The last one was not a penalty!
Cundy on the gear again
First one not a pen, second one yes.
The last 1 is a pen for sure. The first is a disgrace
How can Jamie say thats a pen, doesnt even touch him 😂
“Great game btw” 😂😂😂
When Arteta talks about poor VAR decisions he’s the bad guy
Its controversy after controversy week in week out with VAR get rid of
