“Whenever I’m wrong I tend to pick up the water and not the hatchet.” Wow. Well said. Michael, I don’t play guitar, couldn’t even begin to tell you how. I subscribe to your channel solely for your words and reactions to the heart and soul behind the music. Thank you for what you do.
I play one song on the guitar (flamenco - solearas) and one song on the piano (fiddler on the roof) but music means the world to me. I plan to start playing soon but agree with you Drew. Michael is too sweet. 💥😎💥🎼
Me tooooo!! I comment all the time on that. Watching Michael watch the artists.. is all about joy! I need that daily! I am a music junkie can't ever play a note in anything. But its pure magic every day on here. :)
I've gotten to see them twice and they put on a fantastic show. Ryan Young plays the hell out of that fiddle and he messes around with some cool effects in his live solos
@@tf4002 i was there 36 of my first 40 years. Left for college then went back. Moved to cbus in 17. Finally got my wife to her first tbt show shortly before it all shut down. She said it was the best show of her life. Crazy to think once upon a time it was just bring a case of beer to get in 🤣
I thumbs uped this video before I even skipped the ad before the actual video. Just know this’ll be a good one. This is a fantastic Trampled song (the whole album actually) and I can’t wait to hear your take on their unusual playing styles.
Dude, I was waiting all day for the new video! Listened to this song like ten mins ago. Thank you for giving to this community and all your doing Michael, mods, and all you folks for sharing!
Mike im so fuckin happy i found you and this community. Been dabblin in guitar for years and decided to put the nose to the grindstone as Childers would say but ive got to say your emotion and detail in your explanations and perspective and experience make it so much more exciting to play, so thank you! Ill be around for a while.
I like that - the person you end up with is the person you can’t live without. Funny for me I have felt that way but it has never been two-way. So I have my dog. 😅😎🎈💥😂🎶🎼🎵😎
Ben howard depth over distance. His performance on kcrw is stunning. End of the affair on jules Holland too. He does some beautiful things with an account guitar. Would like to see your take
Cardinal Black with Chris Buck. Two great new songs. Beautiful playing that serves the song. Great soulful singer Tom Hollister. They deserve more views. Chris was named best guitarist recently by several magazines. They’re great. And their songs are beautifully written as well.
I do love the speed and lyrics of this song. If I might suggest a very musically interesting indie folk song titled "Catacombs" by the band Honeysuckle. The performance video on "The White Wall Sessions" youtube page comes highly recommended.
Love your channel. Love your reactions to Tyler Childers for sure. He is one of my favorite voices. There is a guy that I got turned onto recently that I think you would really appreciate. Look into Mitch King " Coming Back". This guy is super talented. He is a one man band using guitar, harmonica, tambourine and kick drum.....and he is barefoot during every performance. This particular song he shreds an acoustic guitar near the end. I would love to see your reaction to this guy. Thanks for your work. The video that looks like he is in a studio is the best version I've seen.
I like your analysis of the song. In general I think it is about unrequited love. More specifically though I think it's about falling in love with a prostitute as indicated by the "five earned fornication" line.
I wish Michael Palmisano would do The Human Abstract or Between the Buried and Me, just so YOU know, there ARE metal fans out there who ALSO appreciate theory..
How about some good old acoustic blues music.....Reverend Peyton and his big damn band......Easy come easy go ......live......the the Reverend playing a 3 string cigar box guitar......it is fire 🔥
Hey Michael, for some reason Gmail is telling me that your support email doesn't exist or can't receive emails. I've tried emailing twice now. Not sure what's going on
Love the videos!! If you want to to hear and see some sick funk work please, please, please react to Louis Cole Live 2019 and check out Bank account (wich servers as a sick intro to The song "Doing The things" this performance blew my mind! It starts at 15:16 in The video titled "Louis Cole Live 2019"
Please please please listen to and do a video of “The Weight of Dreams” by Greta Van Fleet you will not regret it there’s like a 4 minute guitar solo at the end
I really love this band. What an amazing band name...their fast tunes are blindingly fast. There slow songs are so melancholy, so gut-wrenching, that it feels like your whole being is getting Trampled by Turtles. My favorite one is "The Calm and the Crying Wind" czcams.com/video/dc56fbR2n9s/video.html I will also record a video of me playing/singing it and send it to you, Michael.
Do you ever get tired of being that good looking? Also is your wife like the most beautiful woman in the world or just in the top 10? I've never seen her and think it would be creepy to just look her up but based on you I'm guessing she's 💯
God i've been waiting for someone to do this song. I've loved this one for years.
SAME! Alone is also a frickin bomb!
Yeah great song. Great example of taking a super simple chord progression and just rocking the heck out of it.
Hell yeah. I immediately clicked
Have you, waited so long?
Nothing like Southern Bluegrass n Folk Rock from Minnesota...
These guys live are something really special
These guys are from my neck of the Woods. Such a surreal show when they play Bayfront in Duluth. Such a good time.
“Whenever I’m wrong I tend to pick up the water and not the hatchet.” Wow. Well said.

Always loved this song. To maintain control over that kind of manic energy in a song is phenomenal.
TBT "Whiskey" great song. Also their cover of Pixies "Where is my Mind" is exceptional!
I've gotten to see them twice and they put on a fantastic show. Ryan Young plays the hell out of that fiddle and he messes around with some cool effects in his live solos
This is my favorite song of all time. I dont know why.
I would love to go back in time and see a show where they all sat down! Love tbt!
tbt Sit down 🪑 shows were incredible to say the least, so much energy
Michael you're the man! Just wanted to tell ya that in case anybody hasn't today! 🤘
Been waiting so long for this video... TBT YES! Thanks MP

Them live is something to see!
Michael's shirt moved in the early part and I thought it said GOATSE. Made me laugh pretty hard. Big, gaping laughs
My hometown boys. First time I saw them was in a friend's basement. Spent many a night drinking with bassist Timmy.
Good ole duluth. The pre pizza luce days were fun!

Saw them a few years ago one of the best performances

I love Bluegrass of course. Dude can play a Mandolin
Holy cow! I lost my breath listening...like a freight train is a great description! Cool stuff!

I get goosebumps every time I hear this song. Seeing your smile as you come to realize how awesome this song is was equally enjoyable also!
The violin open is so amazing!
Love these guys! First time hearing this for some reason. That really smokes!

Gets the heart rate moving playing along to this one. Great video as usual thanks
My spouse calls these guys "Trampled by Banjos" Makes me laugh.
Big Mike! Met you at the birthday party a few weeks back for Will C. Big fan, bro. Great to see Trampled By Turtles on here.
Paused the video 7 seconds in. Sir, is that a schecter! Nice!
They keep a fire extinguisher near by in a cast an instrument burst into flames.
Would love to see Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Lots of good live performances to choose from.
Ben howard depth over distance. His performance on kcrw is stunning. End of the affair on jules Holland too. He does some beautiful things with an account guitar. Would like to see your take
amazing song
Those of us in MN say they are best described as bluegrass on craxk
This song is perfect. Don't you dare.
Cardinal Black with Chris Buck. Two great new songs. Beautiful playing that serves the song. Great soulful singer Tom Hollister. They deserve more views. Chris was named best guitarist recently by several magazines. They’re great. And their songs are beautifully written as well.

Good god, that was awesome! How in the world was that banjo picker playing those rolls with a flat pick?!?!
Additionally, very touching commentary at the end, Michael.

Portland. 2012. 2 night stand. Aladdin. Mushrooms. Night 2 after show. The Lamp. Cool guys.
Man if you were in Colorado, I’d pay a premium for you to give me guitar lessons.
You know who you need to do a video on? Reverend Horton Heat!
You have to check out Mean Mary - Iron horse
How do you feel about the Avett Brothers, Michael? I really love them but I haven't seen you react to one of their songs.
Ha. That’s wild, just shared this song to my personal Facebook page yesterday morning. Then you review it same the day. You creepin 🧐🧐
I want to see him react to Alan Gogoll's bell harmonics acoustic playing. I literally have no idea how it's possible how he plays it.
“What’s the tempo?” “Yes”
Gooooose T-shirt!
Please examine some STEVE LUKATHER!!
I like your analysis of the song. In general I think it is about unrequited love. More specifically though I think it's about falling in love with a prostitute as indicated by the "five earned fornication" line.
Nice
HER and Chris Stapleton
I wish Michael Palmisano would do The Human Abstract or Between the Buried and Me, just so YOU know, there ARE metal fans out there who ALSO appreciate theory..
You should react to Mayer’s new song. Last Train Home. Total 80’s vibe I think you’ll enjoy.
I’d really like to see you react to some Possessed by Paul James
Color of my bloody nose is a hell of a tune
lmao for a sec I thought the video was on 2x speed
St Thomas by matt heckler is something you might like
Please review Cole Chaney Coalshooter [Red barn radio] you would love this working man's coal mining song. Cole is representing eastern KY well!
Would love to see All the Debts I Owe by Caamp
That is one sick shirt! No wrinkles lolol.
listen to the guitar on "The Warning" - Black Sabbath. Would love to hear/see your reaction.
Who saw the girl Sonya Chagas cover this song? Freakin awesome.

Nothing there
F-C-G-Am
It's not bluegrass.
Sorry to say, I couldn’t appreciate this tune as delivered. Too fast, poorly balanced sound, and missing accurate vocal pitch. Ouch 😓
u just trolling right?
