    Thank you. This was really good to watch for a bloke that knows almost nothing about stockwork. I am however interested in a Kelpie as a companion dog and possibly some fun around the property with obstacles that may lead to competition work. But for that it's ME that will need to be trained.

      francis miller I hope the expert answers you too but for my humble opinion a Kelpie makes a great event dog ! Fly Ball, Obedience trials, Frizbee not to mention riding and jogging, take your pick ! Good luck with it.

      I am saying 'Watch him there' which is encouragement as well as saying 'do what you need to hold or move the stock on the required course'.
