Spacehog's music meant a lot to le back in early noughties. We covered Carry on and I want to live with my band in the uni, here in France ! Thank you for the music sir !!
Bass player here. I remember when "In The Meantime" first hit the radio. I was like "whoa that bass line is sick!!!!" Royston is an awesome musician!!!!
Great stuff!!! Humourous, self effacing and humble. This guy is STILL top notch. This version is on my playlist now. Fashions come and go. Quality always shows.
Resident Alien is the first album I ever bought. I was about 14 when that came out. What an album, still holds up. When I was 14, I was more into the distorted guitar stuff, but still listened to the whole thing over and over. Nowadays, I still prefer the original In The Meantime (that track is immortal), but the version here is pretty phenomenal. I never thought of that song working with just one acoustic guitar, but if anyone can do it it's the underrated and musically gifted Royston Langdon. And boy, Jonny and Rich are great instrumentalists as well.

Royston Langdon is an all around awesome musician. Spacehog is always overlooked, they didn't get nearly the attention they should have had.
Still an awesome song of love and hope. Another awesome show for Steve, of course. And thanks to Royston for being a decent human being.
