In my opinion draculara would definitely be in the basement and logoona would too she could’ve made it into like a under the pool looking room. Cleo would have the big dorm and the second floor bedroom. Also deuces room would be more punk rock theme then green.

Hahaha! I get what you mean, but in the Sims 4 all windows are UV protected and safe for vampires! I think (my opinion) that's why she put so many windows 😊

i feel like draculaura and clawdeens room should’ve been switched since ya know…vampire…around a whole bunch of windows 😅😅😂 but other than that i LOVED THIS! i still to this day at 22 years of age LOVE this doll line and wish they didn’t “revamp” them im an original stan

I love this, the only thing is that I feel like the rooms should have been switched for all three houses 😅. Because, for Draculaura and Clawdeen, vampires shouldn’t really be by a bunch of windows. Then, for Frankie and Lagoona, you could have added a pool or something in the basement or made it look like a fish tank. Then, lastly, Cleo would have never let Deuce have the balcony

I feel like it actually makes sense for Deuce and Cleo to have seperate bedrooms. 1, so Cleo has enough room for her stuff, and 2, to avoid any gorgon-related accidents waking up in the morning lol
Challenge idea:
Randomise a cat/ dog, then try and make the most similar human that you can in both looks, personality, gender etc

I personally would have put Cleos bedroom upstairs, 'cuz in the MH lore she was trapped in a piramid with her family for so long, that now she's scared of sleeping in the dark, and in Deuces would put more punk elemensts, but other than that it was a great build and great video, very pleasent to watch
my only issue with this is lagoonas room she is the sporty girl but otherwise this is really well executed! (lots of nostalgia while watching)

Love the houses and all her builds in general ! The only thing I'd do differently is switch Draculaura and Clawdine's floors.

monster high has an autistic doll (twyla!) and she's so special to me. no other toy brand has represented me like that!
edit: fun fact! vampires traditionally can't see their reflections due to mirrors being made of silver. since mirrors are no longer made of silver, modern vampires would be able to see their reflections (they would also be seen in photos for the same reason!)

@@engagingathena9965ghoulia is actually just only able to speak "zombie" it's why cleo is the only one who understands her when she talks. i believe in one of the movies it's mentioned (possibly the one robecca is in).

Everytime you do builds inspired by characters or shows I'm always so amazed at how well you capture their aesthetic and this is no exception! ❤

I'm so happy you focused on the first generation designs of the dolls, they're my favorite by a mile! The new ones are okay, but the originals are beautiful and actually gothic. Loved this build, I hope in a part 2 Ghoulia will get a house too
The g3 ones are nice as an individual thing but compared to g1 they don't stand a chance for us nostalgia havers

I say this with like every video of yours, but this has to be my favorite! I love love love the cemetery idea for the lot, it looks so cute and very fitting for monster high! My favorite bedroom has to be Clawdeen's! But you really knocked it out of the park with all of them. There are so many dolls to choose from that it's really hard to pick a favorite! My top two would have to be Catty Noir (her pure black skin is just so gorgeous on her) and Twyla! If you ever do a part two, you have to add Abby! Making a cold/frost/crystal-y room would be absolutely adorable!

@@AleshaPryor same!! i was literally going through the comments like "is no one really gonna mention this???" i know that in sims the vampires should be okay indoors (?), but still, i would swap the rooms for that house 😆
I loved the idea of the graveyard! Every pairings made sense. However, I would have swapped every room. Draculaura being a vampire, it makes no sense to put her in a room full of windows - she always brings an umbrella to protect herself from the sun, and covers her whole body. Cleo would have never accepted to be put in the basement, though one could argue that it is like being buried inside a pyramid. She's just too royal for that. And finally, I would have put Lagoona downstairs to try and make her a sort of swimming pool/ walk-in tank aesthetic. But maybe that is too challenging for the size of the houses, too

NB Frankie would be the daughter of Frankenstein’s monster*. Frankenstein is the doctor in the story. One of the best and most heartbreaking books I’ve ever read. Highly recommend❤️

The fairy light curtains over Cleo's bed is actually a really cool idea because she's actually afraid of the dark! It's in her lore, and it's actually kinda sad 😢
These characters and this show mean so much to me. I grew up with them and they are something my older sister and I bonded over. You did such an amazing job reflecting their personalities. I actually teared up a little.

I was a little sad that you had to get of the cat decor, it would've totally made sense because clawdeen canonically does have a pet cat! I dunno if you knew that when you had the idea or if it was a funny "werewolf has a cat" joke but you were right on the money either way LOL

Syd, I love your videos! Especially the build ones. I love the way you talk us through what you're doing, as if you are teaching. I actually learned how to build watching you. I always struggled with filling up the space and I absolutely hated landscaping lol. Now my houses look a lot cuter and more alive. Thank you for bringing us such good content! ❤
love clawdeen and draculaura's rooms, only thing that didn't make sense to me is that the vampire is in the room with the most windows when she burns in the sun xD if were me i'd switch their bedrooms, give drac teh basement and clawdeen teh attic, but other than that, the decor is on point

Syd - thank you for all of the creative and unique content you come up with! How about in honor of the season...each tiny home is a different classic monster, a different 80s horror movie, and tiny homes inspired by the movie (and original game) Clue. Love your videos!
i feel like cleo should have had a more egyptian-y (?) room. like some stone walls and those stone benches, some columns, palm trees... and some of the vintage glamour stuff would have worked really well with the modern luxe items and with her color scheme. there are literally some gold, black and turquoise swatches in vintage glamour, i believe. and that sun clock and sun-shaped rug would have been perfect for egyptian royalty.
other than that, draculaura and clawdeen's rooms are my favorite, although it would make more sense for draculaura to be in the basement with her coffin bed and clawdeen to be upstairs in the room with the windows so she would be able to look at the moon. and there are A LOT of science-y items in the sims that would have worked really well with frankie stein's theme.

11:54 in monster high is like that too, Werewolfs and Vampires have hated each others for centuries, the second movie "Fright on" is based on that, and Vampires were seen as the more powerful dominant high class, who had control over werewolf who were seen as savage and uneducated so yasss we should be glad for their friendship🤭🤭🤭
