Can you get one with a pull cart like what its on in the video
Idgaf how loud it is. In Florida, when that hurricane hits, you want your ac.
Will the genset be louder when under load? Secondly, is wet stacking still an issue to consider with these smaller diesels? Thanks.
It will knock it up to about 5 more DBs. Noticeable but nothing to be concerned about. As for WT it can be something to think about if you are running it with a light load for a long time. If you are concerned about a unit… just running it at 75% for an hour or two will negate the problems with unburnt fuel in the system.
It's a 3600 RPM unit
price went up $500.00, this was the price $10,399.00 on 05-08-2023, must be to cover the free shipping?
Yeah, we had it on a bigger sale. But back to $10,899 now which is still on sale and about 15% to 20% cheaper than the competition-- still free shipping. And $500 for shipping-- No it costs more than that to ship one! Also, if you are local, we've got a few that were scratched/small dent on top when shipped-- Two at $9,500 as is.
Is it safe to connect it with solar Inverter ??
No you can’t back feed Solar with a generator but some modern back up batteries can be hooked up with a generator
What's up with the really weird photoshopped images on the Generator Mart website? One image shows it on a regular sized double axle trailer, but shows the generator the size of an RV, and another shows it in front of some parking spaces and its again huge. It also says "Engineered in The Japan". Is Generator Mart some kind of weird Aliexpress for generators?
Jim, thanks for the feedback. We're going to have our marketing team take a look at those images and have them fixed ASAP. Looks like our designer made some mistakes there! Additionally, Kubota is a Japanese based company, and the Lowboy lineup is built in Japan before being imported to the states.
@@generatormart4631 No problem, glad I could help. For the Japan part I was just pointing out that it should read "Engineered in Japan" and not "Engineered in The Japan", as "The Japan" isn't a thing
Loud af
Whats the rpm's? 1800 or 3600 screamer?
3600
You want 1800 RPM.
Why did they make it 3600 rpm vs 1800?
Well I would assume to keep the size and weight to a minimum. It takes a much larger engine (size weight and price wise) to produce the same power at 1800rpm vs 3600rpm. These little engines will run forever at 3600rpm no worries about reliability at all.
How much?
You are in luck, it just went on sale! Lowest price you'll find... $10,399.00. See the listing now at generatormart.com/products/kubota-14-kw-portble-generator-electric-start-quiet-operation-tier-4-final-gl14000-usa-12-000-watt-lowboypro-series-industrial-diesel-generator-carb.
modified sine wave I assume?
Yeah this is not an inverter… so unless you are far away from it there will be interference.
It's pure sine wave, literally put it on an oscilloscope today.
@voogru what kind of interference issues would a typical home owner experience?
@@kaseycoleman993 nothing unless you are using an electronic device right next to it and then still not bad. We’ve tested all units on our property. Walls etc will diminish any wave issues that may result from a unit. Even if a unit shows little to no recording on a device… if you run it long enough there is going to be slight deviation even start up or shutdown and thus not pure. Rest assured we do sell a good number of Kubotas to home owners as diesel powered home standbys. No one has complained about interference to their electrical devices.
