Sunghoon, Ni-ki and Jay are definitely the members that fits this concept the most in my opinion, they were shining. Ni-ki doing a rap verse was very surprising but he pulled it off really well

I honestly think that the bump in confidence with Sunghoon may be a result of his work as the MC at Music Bank. That gig has been amazing for his growth and it really shows in this comeback.

Their lyrics are linked to their storyline, and lore. "You're judging who's worthy?" They mean the clothed people that are like shadows, and they're being used by them, they're also like the "chosen ones" and now they're rebelling against them, they were controlled and tricked. That's why heeseung says in one of his first lines "I won't be a fool".
The lyrics rely HEAVILY on their storyline, lore, webtoon, etc. and their concept.
This comeback is like a sum up of ALL that they have been through, and this is the TRUE beginning of their journey, they're running away and getting out of their control. That's why in "Given-Taken" they were in a orphanage looking place, and were given pills to swallow, they were caged.
And in tamed-dashed, they're still in the same place, but now it looks more like a high school, and even NOW if you notice its the SAME place as their tamed dashed mv set, in a high school classroom.
They're rebelling, that's why they're holding a clothed person hostage, with everyone gathered. they're threatening them, and making a statement and finding their identities.
And now, they're out, and you see a PLANE at the end of the MV, and they're walking to it. They're finally STARTING their journey, this is only the beginning for them. They're now free, and rebelling.
And they have powers, like I said "chosen ones"
And yeah, to fully understand the lyrics and concept, you need to firstly understand enhypen and their concept, lore, story line, etc.
They have a webtoon, and it fully explains that, this MV also includes lyrics and moments from their past MV's, like I said concept, every MV is like a continuation of their storyline.

The change of Genre is really something that alot of people will not understand or like. But despite the different opinions about it Enhypen pulled it off and they definitely ate specially Sunghoon. The whole album is a bop. And also that thing about Jungwon is definitely understandable😭we’re also aware that no matter how dark the concept is he will always look cute😩. Thanks PD!!

I've seen mixed feelings but I absolutely loved this it was so different for them yet they absolutely killed it Heeseung, Sunghoon, Jay and Ni-ki popped off and really suited this I mean they all did but those 4 stood out so much, you can see their growth and oozing confidence ugh I can't get enough of this!
The way Sunghoon ate it up even with the least lines like he was imprinted into my mind after his aura and such drastic change in this comeback. He's always been the one with the more elegant and modest aura and now he goes on with a sleeveless shirt and everything like WTF I'll never forget him in this MV.
These types of concepts really suit Sunghoon, same w Blessed-Cursed. He manages to catch attention despite having the least lines and least solo screen time, even when he’s not in the center, his stage presence is just consistent all throughout

apparently sunoo said bang pd came to watch them practice and complimented them on how he can see that their passion has grown and he can see their passion and that's the first time he has seen them like that and complimented them on it. I think that perfectly explains the feeling I get from this comeback. they're coming into their own and discovering their musical talents and passions. feels very new and fresh and so energetic. its so fun to see a group grow and try new things. everytime they come back i see someone complaining about how they've changed or aren't doing the music that specific person liked but that is what i think is so fun and charming about enhypen. they're exploring and growing as young people and as new artists
I agree some people are trying to box enhypen in a certain genre they don’t want them to do hip hop inspired rock with blessed cursed even now with the pop and drill beats for future perfect it’s so refreshing to see them explore different sounds and be so confident in it coz wow

There were other scenes in the MV that reference their Dark Moon Storyline! Mostly from the wattpad (since the webtoon is currently on a hiatus), there were scenes where Jay and Ni-ki were interrogating a “drifter” (a low grade vampire - those black hooded back up dancers), Sunghoon with one of his eyes turning red at the full moon which symbolizes how he is half werewolf half vampire, Heeseung telepathically reading one of the minds and then throwing a match box with the text “Railgun” and “Printanier” which are the places they are at (This is where evil vampires have been trafficking werewolves for their blood). Jake also later sets the drifter on fire, and the match box also gets lit on fire. So it wasn’t just that one scene in their Decelis School Uniforms!
Also for the very “fighting” powerful vibes I think that is because in the story they are currently fighting these evil vampires in Printanier along with the &AUDITION werewolves! For my own personal opinion of this comeback, I absolutely love it.

I think the complete album is a 360° for them, but it sounds so good!! I think they´re still experimenting with their sound, they did it for the last comeback having like a retro sound, the 2YK concept for Blessed-Cursed and now this. And like you said, this might be the best music video and for me, it is their best title track.

I think there's deffo more to it than new tech, but you're right. It's just so much more cinematic, and we'll thought out? There were certain shots and edits in Fever and Drunk Dazed that I thought were a bit random and out of place, Blessed Cursed too. I loved those MVs, but Future Perfect is just so refined and everything falls into place ♡
Personally I feel they were holding out on giving Enhypen the full range of cinematography until they had a comeback strong enough for it. Giving the rookies a level-up to go with their fresh new revamped concept. Good strategy for garnering attention and simulating natural growth. More impactful that way.

This is definitely the best comeback of Enhypen. They are so unique. The dance, music video, vocals, visual, concept everything is so cool. ENHYPEN music videos are really fun to watch. Have you noticed that HYBE is pushing some members wearing hats in the MVs? Like Yeonjun for TXT, Hoshi form SVT and now Jay for Enhypen are all wearing hats while dancing and they all look so good. I just love them all wearing hats.
The only criticism I'd have is Sunoo's screen time. I was pleasantly surprised to see him with 20+ seconds of lines because we literally only saw him clearly in his first line. His chorus and 2nd pre-chorus lines were unfortunately masked with wider and group shots. I'm really glad Ni-ki and Sunghoon got to shine despite surprisingly having the least lines!
Same with Jake, they only showed him during his part near the end but entirely zoomed out from him during his part in the fist pre-chorus

I got the vibe and visuals from Fire , Forever Young and Mic Drop , but for sure the concept fits them as a Group , and the ones that steal my attention : for vocals it was Jake , Performance/facial expressions : sunghoon and Jay , Rap : Niki and heesung for sure , for Jungwon and suno they also did great vocal and dance wise but i think they are too nice and kind both visually and personally to look Hard and Bad for the concept .
Over all , as a team they nailed it , i liked how they focus more on the team than individuals , this time i felt like they really did a great job being a Solid Team .

definitely a different vibe from past title tracks since that have had a large rock influence in their music. this is new and they came out with a BANG with the drill genre sound. the bsides did not disappoint either. THEY GOT IT

Hi PD, I always look forward to your reactions. My thoughts are it is AMAZING!!!!! As I have followed these boys since I-land the growth is insane, I think that it is a bit different from previous title tracks, but Enhypen tends to always change styles. Enhypen is not even 2 years as a group and the growth and great quality are insane. I believe they might be finding a style they identify with or can be experimenting with different sounds. The message of the song is powerful and the declaration of teamwork is present as you mentioned, which ENhypen is all about teamwork, since I-land. The references were amazing, Especially the deep voice by Jay "I got pusheddddd"!!! I Agree Sunghoon was on something in this MV!! Can wait for their perfect future to come!! Thank PD:)
