I was drowning in the ocean when I was a kid.. a man grabbed me and sat me on the beach filled with 1,000's of people..right next to my brother ... when I looked up he was gone in the crowd. I have seen that man 5 other times in my life.... just a glimpse .. he was in scrubs in the OR when I had my daughter .. he just stood in background and he delivered my food when I had my son... its always a few seconds we make eye contact and he just fades into the "crowd" Sounds crazy ....but we never have spoken.... maybe I see him In others or maybe he is my guardian. I have considered having him sketched... I was 6 the first time I saw him.. 27 years later I remember every detail of his face

I have had the same experiences but it’s always two men. I can never full make out their faces though. And they’re always asking me when I am in a life or death situation if I want to do something outrageous in the most inappropriate times. For example. I was a kid and hit my head on the corner of a glass coffee table extremely hard. Blood was gushing everywhere and I was taken to the ER. I remembered these two men approaching me and asking me if I want to go with them to the county fair. And though I really wanted to go to the fair, I told them no, I wanted to stay with my mom. There’s always a blur around their faces when I see them and can never make it out. That time I saw them as a kid, there was a bright light shining behind them. I am not religious. But I can’t explain it.. being in life threatening situations and these blurred faced men just show up and ask me if I want to go with them. Or lead me away from dangerous people/situations. Kind of like a brush that tells me nope better not do that.

I feel this... I was 16 in Hawaii and a undertow got me while I was on a body board. It took me out a solid mile. I was freaking out waving to my friend at the beach... He thought I was just waving to say hi but I was in trouble. So I was always told to follow the grain. So I followed the current and my board ended up breaking. I had half a body board about 2 miles out at this point. I was scared boarderline crying. When a surfer paddled up and said "get on my board I got you buddy". Took me back to shore and poof was gone. And thousands of people didn't notice..

something really similar happened where a serial killer sold a car to some guy but he had to do it through a car agency and it was so quick that they didn’t have time to check the boot. it smelt disgusting but they thought it was just the petrol. so jokingly the mechanic said “don’t blame me if there’s a dead body in the back” and then 5 hours later the police showed up and questioned the mechanic. apparently the mechanic literally threw up three times when he heard the news from the police. like he’d been working on a car with a dead body, dismissing that smell as oil and shit. he had to get therapy and everything after the event bc it fucked him up so much. he obviously had nothing to do with it and the police knew that after they questioned him but still😰 feel so bad for him, i bet he’s never gonna make a passing comment like that again😅

@@honeycrispsnail4032 Depression hits people differently because people are different. The mind is still a mystery in many departments. Just because you didn't have certain feelings doesn't mean someone shouldn't. If it hits them differently and they are not thinking coherently, they might do things differently. It is unfair to judge someone in that situation, no matter what they tried to do. There is a reason why we hear about the emphasis on mental health these days. OTOH, the man who tried to kill his wife twice, yes judge him. He planned the whole thing with full control of his senses.

I had 2 near death experiences in the water and one was because my camp leader thought I was faking it when I told her that I can't go in that lake but I said that because I feared for my life. She told me I had to but after she saw me struggle in the water she never bothered me again nor apologized as I just laid there trying to recollect myself after finally being able to get out of the water. I'm still so mad she told me I had no choice but to get in the lake to swim when I have a medical issue and can't do it! If she made me do it again then I would have just said no and she could call my parents or send me home if she wanted to but I was going to disobey her the second time or punch her in the face if I had to. Feeling your body weaken and you losing control of your body as it shuts down and thinking this is it...is just not on my list again.

I heard my dad scream and we spinned around and after a while we stopped. I was shocked and luckily had no injury's. My twin had a bruise and my dad was talking to police. But the thing that scared me the most was the fact people were screaming "SHE'S DEAD SHE'S DEAD!" While pointing at my mother i was in shock and being the youngest i was scarred i hugged my twin while we cried we were sitting by a car of a Sweet woman who was trying to calm us down. Yeah, I've been there. I survived a car accident that killed my parents when I was two. It's not as incredible as being the sole survivor of a plane crash, but I sympathize with her. These things don't leave you.
I hope the little girl who survived her dad pulling her onto the tracks with him gets all the love and support and therapy she needs to cope with such trauma. Even if you don't remember the trauma, it's there and it's hard to process because you don't remember it.

Here is a story of survival I will never forget. I used to work in an emergency room as a ER tech. Whenever I started my day I would look at the computers to see what was going on in the ER, then I see this listed "GSW to head times 2" which meant two gun shot wounds to head, I was shocked since we were not trauma center. I go and talk to the doctor who was caring for her and see what happened. He tells me she was car jacked, shot twice in the head, her husband brought her in. He then shows me the X-Rays and I see two bullets, one at the forehead and the other on top of the head. I ask how she is doing, he says go into Acute Care 1 and see for myself. I walk into the room and the woman turns looks at me and says "good morning". Not only did she survive, she had no permanent injuries, the bullets never went past her skull. I then told her that in my 12 years as an EMT, she was the luckiest person I ever met.

Honestly had no idea it took an entire 40 minutes. I knew they'd taken some time as a guy had to literally run down on foot to get to her but everything seemed to happen so much quicker. So glad she was ok. Crazy how random this video just popped up on my timeline but I for sure recognised her face that's why I watched.

While listening to the flight 255 tragedy, I started to think it sounded very familiar. I had to do some obituary digging to verify it but my aunt, her husband, and their two young daughters were on that flight. This happened before I was born so I never got to meet them and nobody in my family talks about them anymore. I didn’t even know they existed until I was about 10 and my dad took me and my sister to their graves and explained what had happened. No one has ever talked about them since then. I didn’t even know their names until I looked at the obituary. I was actually thinking about them though recently because I fly often but I don’t think my dad has ever gotten on a plane. I don’t know if that has anything to do with his sister’s death or not and I’m not sure if I should ever ask. Maybe I should, just so they aren’t completely forgotten. That’s really what made me decide to comment on this video; the thought that I’ll have at least mentioned them to other people and proved that they aren’t forgotten.

My brothers who were supposed to be watching me went inside to help my youngest brother find his swimsuit, apparently I thought I was big enough so I threw off my arm flap tied and jumped in. All I remember from that point was seeing sun glossen through the water, and I thought I saw my brother above me but idk, he says to this day it was him but there’s no way you can head a voice so clearly through water. I heard a woman’s voice tell me to hold on 2 seconds and I would be okay, so I think I did. And next thing I know my moms pulling me out of the water and she saved me. From her sorry she said I was floating and she jumped in and grabbed me, gave me cpr, and I was crying bc my back hurt from her throwing me against the concert trying to save me. Miracles happen and it blows my mind. I so wish I could remember my experience clearly and not just remembering a female voice telling me to hold on 2 seconds and I’d be okay. But it’s amazing from the memories I do have from that moment being so young, spirituality is a thing.

Why do you think Canadians come to US for cancer treatments, surgeries, or transplants? Pros and cons to both sides. I think: Revenue caps on big Pharma. Hospitals are expensive because they’ve passed on the cost to the “consumer.” No reason pharmaceutical companies should make billions upon billions. Shit rolls down hill, so stop that shit at the top. THAT is what America needs to do. Our healthcare is great, but the capitalism aspect at the top needs monitoring and restrictions.

Have you ever considered becoming a motivational speaker? I used to be on a local talk show and back when my friend and I were doing it we would have loved to have you on. My son lost a very good friend in high school to suicide and it hurt him so badly that he could not save her. He didn't even know she was that depressed. Not long after another friend was talking suicide to him and luckily he came right to me and we were able to get him some help. To this day this young man says my son saved his life. He said he felt like no one cared and when my son took action he knew that someone truly did. Perhaps you could look into speaking at schools if our world ever becomes normal again if you'd be comfortable with doing that.

I escaped death something like 3 times in just one evening. When I was 17, about 2 months from turning 18, I was living out in a trailer park in Oklahoma City. The year 2015 was nasty and saw tornados just ravishing the midwest. May 6th, 2015, sometime after 8 pm I fell asleep as the power was out and there really wasn't much to do. I was woken by the trailer literally rocking. This wasn't abnormal Oklahoma winds sometimes can do that in storms, they can even move cars completely. But it changed, in a moment the trailer flipped over, and then started to roll. It would pause for what feels like 2 mins but was probably closer to 15 seconds. During this time I'm banged out, and make a single decision that I credit with saving my life. I rip off the couch cushions and use them to pad myself as I feel the trailer start to roll. It'd turn out later in this period we were actually up in the sky which might be why it didn't roll. But the rolling would resume. It'd smash the trailer (with me in it) back down to the ground, smash a second trailer on top, and a massive oak tree. I was buried in a small hole that was pitch black...And then I felt it. The damn place was flooding and I was pinned unable to move. So I spent about 3 minutes free one of my arms, which I used to feel around for anything I could prop my head-on. I found a glass-deep backing dish that had somehow survived intact. Flipped it over, and put my head on it. I'd spend something like 3 hours in that hole.
So something to know, during this period I couldn't hear much going on due to just how much rubble I was buried under. The trailer was also at points actively crushing the life out of me. At one point it was so much weight I literally was unable to breathe. The wind shifted rubble just enough to allow me the ability to breathe. But this meant that for those 3 hours I had no way of knowing if anyone was coming. If anyone knew I was alive. But I also understood that if I was trapped there for an undetermined amount of time I'd need to save as much energy as I could, and preserve my voice. So what I had to do was scream every so often periodically, and then simply lay there and wait. Buried alive, in darkness, being crushed with an ever-increasing pool of water. Unable to feel much due to shock setting in by that point. I would be rescued eventually, and it took them a lot of effort using chain saws and airbags because they were worried if they tried to unbury me it'd come down on me and crush me.
I walked away from the F3 tornado, being crushed, nearly being drowned, with a broken spine and a broken thumb. I wish I could say this was the hard part. But the truth is, the permanent injuries I suffered from living through the tornado still haunt me 6-7 years later. I deal with chronic pain, nerve damage to my right side, had to have major back surgery where they put hardware into my spine to hold some of it together. I had to relearn how to walk. And that's just the physical reality of what it did. This one moment defined my life. And two or three small choices I made correctly are the only reason I managed to survive. I think had I lost my cool while being thrown around or during the time I was being crushed and pinned in a flooding area, I would've died outright. The cushions undoubtedly protected me, and why I suffered a horrific injury to my spine, it did save my life. And had I not figured out that I needed to get my head up away from the water, I would've died. And the last was the decision to conserve energy and my voice, to periodically call out, rather than exhausting myself. I feel if I had fallen asleep or lost my voice, I would've never been found, and likely by the time anyone did, I'd have died. It took days for any real effort to recover or salvage began. So I would've likey been long dead by the time anyone found me. Those three choices which seem small made a massive impact.
So if there's a lesson to be learned: it's to stay calm. Logically think of your situation. Don't panic, and know that even a small choice could literally be the choice to save, or condemn you. Never take life for granted. And appreciate being healthy of the body while you are. Because in a moment it could be stolen from you, and your entire future destroyed by a situation you can't even see coming.
I personally struggle to make sense of things. And finding a purpose. I often struggle with the psychological effects for instance I have terrible nightmares when I sleep due to having been asleep when it started. For a similar reason, I have trouble sleeping at night. Oddly enough storms don't bother me, though I did develop horrible motion sickness that was so bad right after the injury getting in a car nearly made me have a mix of a panic attack and puke. It's gotten a lot better, and by this point is mostly gone. But I still am keenly aware of even the most slight motion while in a car. But the biggest thing is the pain. The pain is so intense that I've prescribed fentanyl for day-to-day use. And this cuts maybe 25% of the total pain I feel. It's just enough to make me able to do basic things, walk a few blocks, and so on. Every day I have a mental war to convenience myself to get up and do not give up entirely. It's an exhausting affair, and the reasons to continue to fight for life decrease year by year. And with my only family member passing away at the start of 2020 I've become completely numb. I feel the last tether I had was broken. So it's pure stubbornness that's kept me going through 2020 and 2021. My story isn't a happy one or even one with a good ending. If the drugs I take don't kill me with long-term use, as secondary conditions occur due to the condition of my spine like arthritis, my pain is going to get worse and the lethal dose for pain meds will remain the same. Making a situation where it won't be possible for me to find any relief for the crippling pain, and I'll likely end up just taking my own life. So I survived, but I'm on a death ride, my days are numbered in a few decades at best. Maybe a lot less. But there are some lessons to be learned from all this. So I hope someone gets something from me sharing this.

And she was actually the normal one in the marriage, she just had a history of schizophrenic episodes, which were not her fault. The husband on the other hand, he, well to stay anonymous (I know everyone involved personally), I'll just say that he treated his family and wife the opposite of well, he had tons of problems too, but unlike his wife's problems, his had to do with a problematic personality rather than any mental illness.

I was on the back side of a 227 volt ballast with wires in both hands and took 1800 volts at 1.8 amps across the chest. What saved me was the fact that I always cut my wires short instead of making what we call a birds nest. When my knees buckled I was pulled free, but for the next 15 min or so my arms were paralyzed, they just hung there. The only real damage was I bit down hard enough to break a couple of teeth. I had major surgery when I was 13 and doctors weren't aware that I also had a blood disorder. I literally bled out all of the blood in my body [out of 12 pints I only had 2]. Doctors didn't know if I was going to survive and had prepared my parents in case I didn't make it. Luckily I woke up from surgery, spent a few days in the ICU and eventually made a full recovery.
A few years later I was asleep in bed when I suddenly woke up because I was having trouble breathing. I called my parents and they said I was blue so they took me to the emergency room where it was discovered that I had multi-viral pneumonia and was not able to get enough oxygen. A nurse literally jumped on top of me and was massaging my chest cause my heart rate was plummeting indicating that my heart was close to stop beating. Once again I managed to survive with no lasting effects.
A few years after that I started developing really bad pain in my chest and back and was once again taken to the hospital where doctors discovered that my liver and kidneys were failing and I had pneumonia once again. Doctors didn't know if I was going to need dialysis or emergency surgery or something, but thankfully I was 80% back to normal in just two days.
A couple of weeks after that I had a really bad headache and I felt my head was going to explode. Once again I was taken to the hospital where it was discovered that I had extremely high blood pressure. I was given medication to help reduce the blood pressure and was not admitted to the hospital. A few hours later I began having seizures [doctors counted over 15 seizures back to back when I arrived to the hospital, but they were not aware of how many I had actually had at home and in the ambulance]. I had so many tests done and everything was coming up normal. I was unconscious for two days and when I woke up I had no recollection of what happened. Then I started getting flashbacks and I was diagnosed with ptsd. I eventually managed to make a full recovery.
This year I have become septic twice in 3 months, have been hospitalized at least once a month, had major surgery once again, and been on bed rest for 2 months.
Considering how many times I've been close to death I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have made it this far. I know it's not the same as what these people went through since they were in much worse conditions, but where these people have dealt with gravity, water, force, bullets, etc, I have been dealing with my own body attacking itself.

My Dear Fairy Tail Life Friend. I want to thank you for sharing your life with all of us. It has truly helped me to see things are not as bad as I thought they were when I woke up this morning. Four years ago I had spinal fusion which actually put me in more pain than I was in before the surgery. I lost my job which was really hard for me. I loved my job, I was great at my job and had always pictured my Mom looking down from Heaven with pride. I've been a single parent for many years, I owned my own home, had two cars and felt like I had finally become something. Four years ago when my world felt like it was falling apart I thought well, I still have love....nope I didn't have that either. I found out the man I thought loved me had only been here to fix his credit and to save his money for a down payment on his own home. So I became bitter, angry and walked around feeling sorry for myself, well kind of walking lol, over time I started to just accept my situation. I recently injured my back, hip and leg in a fall. Until I read all that you have had to go through, I was headed back down that dark and ugly path. I am so deeply sorry for all that you have had to go through and I am sending prayers, vibes or whatever it is you accept. Your post made me realize although my life which I enjoyed so much had changed so drastically, I still have so many wonderful things and amazingly loving people in my world. Sure I might end up homeless or hungry I've gone through worse as have you. How can I ever repay you for helping me to realize how silly I have been, how much time I've wasted at my very own pity party? Thank you again for sharing and know that I'm rooting for you!!

Gotta say, the chef one is the craziest. So much luck on his side.. having a pocket of air that was just enough that he didn't die of lacking oxygen before being found.. 3 days later.. being in the cold for so long.. THEN the treacherous return to surface along which other things could have happened, since he couldn't be brought up too fast... so yea.. got my vote.

Yeah this story has always intrested me and with research I found multiple facts not stated by this video or incorrectly stated by this video. After a couple of hours with half of his body in the water he realized he needed to get stuff to stack up so he could raise his body enough not to freeze to death. He did this by swimming in the dark out of the room and to the room beside. Grabbing all he could before heading back and luckily making it to his air pocket. He also found a coke can while he was looking around, and so that was all he had to drink. He was so lucky he was able to do what he did, I probably would have given up and froze or died from dehydration.

Had to make quick turns while swirling to return back to my lane to not hit anyone as I was doing a zigzag over the freeway. Luckily no cars were near me. Did balance and everything I could think of and this stopped them from wiggling around and having a mind of their own when I'm driving fast on the freeway.

I was confused until I turned around and a man was chasing us I was about in arms length from him, he had been able to grab my arm, but luckily he had gloves on and didn't get the best grip on me.
But in the process I fell and scraped my hand, I still have the scar to this day. There was a gas station not to far from there so we hid there as I tried to calm my friend down. I still to this day owe my friend because if they hadn't yelled and tell me to start running he would have caught me by surprise.
Nobody knows who he was or why he did it but I am just glad to be here, sitting at my computer, enjoying what life has to offer.

It's often a hidden blessing to not remember the most tragic of events, such in the case of Cecelia Cichan (and many others). I remember when US Flight 255 happened. It was said that at the hospital, right after she was found alive, that her grandfather identified her by the nail polish on her fingers and toes. That poor baby. That poor family. Could you imagine being able to remember the entire horror from start to finish, all the while being barely out of toddlerhood all the way through to adulthood? Ms. Cichan struggled with survivor's guilt after she found out... mercy, it would just be that much more horrific if she remembered any of it, let alone all of it.
My wish is that all the survivors are happy and safe wherever they may be. ~Peace!

A car came really fast around the corner at us and I had to steer away towards the edge of the mountain cliff, that had no guardrail, and the car began fish tailing and I had to steer straight. Finally the car stops, and my friend looks out the window. The back right tire was actually in the air hanging over the cliff. I had all my friends slowly move to the left side and I was able to very carefully get us back on 4 solid weels. Scariest moment of my life. That's the country for you.

I've had a similar situation, but with my own father who did it intentionally to show off his new Jeep at the risk of his own children's lives. He was driving the Jeep on the cliff edge as close as he could get it. If we had all thrown our weight to one side, we would have fallen down the cliff side. We only convinced him to go away from the edge by yelling and screaming and hitting the back of his seat. It was unfortunately the only way he would listen to us, and it took us like, 4-5 minutes to convince him to drive us away from the edge. Luckily!! We don't live with that psycho anymore! So! That's good!
