Great video, I found this out on my Rhine river cruise. I started in Basel Switzerland and ended in Amsterdam. I had to depart the ship around 4am, and only saw Amsterdam at Night, and the expressway, going to the airport.
I did this exact itinerary last Spring on Viking. We spent 2 nights in Venice before the cruise which I recommend to anyone who has never been there! Magical! We then boarded the ship and spent another night with a excursion the next day(boat trip to Murano) before departing on the cruise. We ended in Athens and spent one night there before coming home. I have been to Athens several times so this was fine with me. Good video!
