Hi zach. I'm in high school and I think I made my decision of what to follow. I've been watching your videos since middle of 2017. Thx to you, you inspired me to pursue something I had little interest in. You taught me a lot about this stuff when I had very little experience before😀. Keep it up Zach love the videos.
That's awesome!! Good luck! Remember that agriculture is very broad and there are a ton of options as far as how to be involved and make a great career out of it!!
Millennial Farmer hi Zach i’m Ethan i’m 22 years old i have a rare genetic disorder i really want to be a farmer but with the syndrome i have idk if i will be able to
Funny how that works like that. Got sick of the shovel, build a monster snow blower with 2 Chevy 572 big blocks with super chargers and track drive... Haven't seen a flake sense.
Hey, Zach ,it's Thomas from Zim. I am not a farmer but I have been following your channel now since the 2018 Soy bean harvest. I really enjoy the way you think on your feet and manage the day to operation of your farm. Very motivating and you've actually helped me to focus on certain day to operation
I was raised on a farm in the midwest in the 1950s. I have been watching these videos to find out how farming is done now. To say I'm amazed is an understatement. The sophistication of the mega-machines now is mind-blowing, especially the computer technology so you can know what is going on in the bowels of those machines. Of course, it is necessary to have all of the technology now in order to feed the billions more people there are now on the earth. This includes developing higher-yield grains and produce. Amazing.
you are right. People on red combines don't waste time fixing broken machines and they can afford to feed the pheasants and watch youtube videos of people on green combines struggling. I finished harvest 2 weeks ago. Go deer....heheh
Please implement the check ins with Randy "song" every time you have a check in with Randy. Thank you. Hopefully that fuel trailer will become a permanent unit on the farm, that thing is too handy!
Can’t wait for the FS19 Map. Currently doing a “Aussie Style” series on Welker Farms. Keep the vids coming, love the content. All the way from Australia
Another most interesting, informative Millinnial Farmer video!!!! Always enjoyable in every respect!! All of us former farmers learn much and appreciate how much you are doing for the entire nation with all the new technology and your hard work!!!!
I clicked on the video because the thumbnail looked EXTREMELY satisfying. But I stayed because you seem like such a cool and entertaining person. Keep up the good work!😃
EXACTLY here in upstate NY it’s the same thing!!! we get 130-140 inches of snow every winter so it’s time to harvest 30% corn because that’s just the year that we’re having we don’t have any choice
I do have to say. You and I Zach have the same sense of humor. Kinda dry and only those of us alike will get it. Lol Thank you for taking us on this years harvest again.
Product placement, infomercials, you know what I mean. Smart move, great production for DIY...best luck. The real benefit will be for those "urban" people to learn some realities "rural" people live and experience every day!
Changing from beans to corn and back looks pretty easy. I' be looking forward to hear more about the combine advisor and how that is supposed to work, and how it actually performs for you.
I remember the round the clock farming days its grueling but when it's coming out of the field at 16 and 17 brother a I just kept going keep up the good video's I really enjoy watching your operation!
Hi. I have been following your videos they are really educative and amazing especially in technology side. My self i am a small scale farmer in Tanzania growing dry beans hope one day i will visit your farm and learn more.
31% moisture is crazy! Here in Ohio we were taking off 120 day corn at 18.5% until we got 2 inches yesterday. Interesting to know how much different things are just a few states away.
In Denmark rain is coming in amounts we have not seen since 1837. Potatoes are swimming and corn is some places impossible to get. We need those belt machines.
Tried to deer hunt here in NC this morning. Sweated my ass off and mosquitos are me alive. Hit 85 degrees here today. And very humid. Disgusting for November. I gotta get out of the south...
When your calibrating with the active yield activated. You can't do it with full tank. Or at least I couldn't last year. But maybe there have been a update. The scales can't weight the corn that is hanging on the sides of the tanks. But if you stay in the calibrating menu. It will tell you when to unload and weight that. It will be way more precise. Just a little help from Denmark.
Remember these machines are both Class 7 machines which can move ALOT of grain thru them very quickly as one hopper he had over 19k lbs in the combine as that is alot of weight!!
The only other time a dog needs a tune up. Chasing tires. We hung a tire in a tree for our Heeler. She loved it! If we just could get liberals to chase tires...🤗
Keep up the awesome videos! This Arkansas Ag teacher loves them. I teach in a small farming community and several of my kids watch them also. We even talk about them in class after you post new ones!
Millennial Farmer how bout a shout out in your next video to Levi Jones and the Harrisburg FFA Chapter in Harrisburg, AR. Also please go like our Facebook page! The kids would love it if they knew you fallowed us!
All too often we would get a heavy snow before the ground would freeze. We would have to wait for that snow to melt to get at the corn and we picked corn on top of ICE! If we ever broke through, we would bury the combine because it was goopy mud underneath.
hey just gotta say thanks for your videos . been following about a year now and enjoy learning new things every video . I can not wait for your map to come out on farm sim 19 . really looking forward to farming your land in game . keep these videos coming great work
We harvest corn here in michigan at 30 percent moisture as well. We have to get it out of the field before it gets downed. We had a wind storm yesterday it downed over 60 acres now we're harvesting it today very slowly . Our fields are very muddy we have gotten some rain lately.
I'm sure demoing that new combine is beyond exciting. It would be interesting to see the total savings: fuel, time, harvesting efficiency. Of course, the increased quiet doesn't matter...but, people but based on emotions.
btw zach, if you really wanted to you could take off the left pipe on your bean head blower and cap it off. i put a blow on a bean head and only had that right hose connect to the pipe
Soooo it was 81 here at Myrtle Beach today, a bit humid.decided to not harvest my grass today....football called and I answered. I may go golf early tomorrow then go to work.
Hey Zack. You do have the best videos out. Thank you for the entertainment and information. Here at Northwest Illinois we're in the same situation. Wet...
When I was younger I worked on a harvest crew cutting wheat. Looking back I had a lot of fun and seen a lot of rural America. I watch your videos and it brings back good memories of working on the farm. Do the elevators give out sodas while you are at the scales? That is why I liked driving the trucks into town. Lol
Great video, The look while pumping DEF cracked me up. OK, A Thunder Creek fuel trailer, a J&M Grain cart, and a new Deere S780 and you asked Nick Welker if he owned any of his equipment? LOL Just Teasing..... I keep waiting for another Leg Arms sighting

Go to town and buy two of the most expensive snowmobiles they make. It wont snow for the next five years after that. Problem solved.

The truth hurts 😂💀💀

Good luck and I hope the day goes very well for you. It's always great to see a farmer win against time and the elements.

That S780 is a sexy machine. A big step up from a 707 Uni-System with a 6 row head and a husking bed.
Perfect thing for Sunday afternoon!

That did look less strenuous than the old 9660 I used to run, it was an hour job if not longer with one person.

Looks like a pretty “handy” way to move DEF;)
You know, I also see this is the way of the belgium.
DEF sucks
Ahah... that's what the kick starter looks like. That's how good this vehicle is from the ad. Pine tree protecter to make us busy I hope.
Glad to see you are getting in the Fields.
I learn a lot about ag in your videos, thank you
One of the funniest guys on CZcams. Love watching a fellow Minnesotan. Keep it up.
I can see more gym time this winter. Gotta be able to catch the dogs right.
Randy, trouble never travels alone,.. good luck!🍀

Amazing that you can Harvest these huge fields with only 1 Combine (or now 2) we in Germany got much smaller Fields and got 3 Combines
he only farms 2500 acreas you dont need more then 1 or 2 machines for that
Remember these machines are both Class 7 machines which can move ALOT of grain thru them very quickly as one hopper he had over 19k lbs in the combine as that is alot of weight!!
