Here via MSFS Addons! Gotta say the external flyby sound is very accurate and the most realistic I have heard in a sim. The stall and wind sound reminded me of that awesome first stall and recovery experience during flight training! Great work!
External is def spot on. Best I have heard in any sim to date for a 172.

As soon as I heard the stall horn, I purchased your audio mod. I have a little under 100 hours in the 172 irl, and all of these sounds put a smile on my face. Quite authentic!

As someone who flies real 172s, the sound on the simulator has always been lacking. The whistling noise with increased angle of attack alone is worth the price for this addon.

Amazing thank you! Overall sounds much better. The only issue I’ve noticed so far is a knocking sound that is continuously happening and I think it has something to do with the throttle because I can get it to stop if I wiggle my throttle joystick a bit. I’m thinking maybe my throttle quadrant is actually moving back and forth ever so slightly causing the sound to constantly trigger. That being said, it seems much too loud in comparison to the other sounds. I can still hear it over the engine which I think is pretty unrealistic if that is meant to just be the noise the the throttle sliding back and forth.
I'm going to add a threshold to the throttle sound next update, I have got a few reports from it being triggered due to hardware setting the variable over and over. Thank you very much!

Does it work with the WB-Sim 172SP Classic Enhancement product, and possibly the freeware C172 enhancement mods? It looked like both might have been used in the video, I juat wanted to confirm.
Yes it does work with WB-Sim
Correct! Fully compatible with the stock G1000, steam gauge, and the WBSim enhancement mod :)
The default sounds suck in the 172. this is awesome.
Well done Boris this really enhances the experience. My only niggle is the tyres screech on a grass strip landing as if it’s tarmac. Will this be fixed in a future update?
I guess I can use the surface type variable. Keep in mind that on the steam gauge it's not the tire screech but the wheel bearings screaming 👍

Thank you! The others will hear the exterior default sounds on your aircraft.
@@BorisAudioWorks what's about the other Cessna on my computer (AI or other players) ? Would I hear default sounds or yours ? I use the WB C172 and really consider to complete the aircraft with your pack.
@@R4DWULF i haven't touched the AI sound bank so even if you have the pack, the others will hear default. I'm considering changing this though, might be a good idea for me to change

@Boris Vanian Bit disappointed, I was initially impressed with your sound set for the Cessna 172 that I purchased from the MSFS store. I noticed it was suppose to be compatible with the WB-Sim C172sp classic enhancement and I went ahead to grab from Just Flight. Once installed both the default and WB Sim version both resort to the default sounds for the aircraft. I tried uninstalling the WB sim and the sound set then reinstall the WBSim C172 and then the sound set with a game restart but still no longer working? Wonder if there's a solution to this? If I uninstall the WB sim C172 the sound set appears to work again?
Edit: All resolved now :) creator has been very helpful and can now enjoy these Awesome sounds!!
Hey, this was an issue that I wasn't expecting initially - the marketplace version is not compatible with the WBSim as the naming convention is a bit different when purchasing from there, which breaks the order of it. Please message me on discord boris#8008 and I will send you the version that works with the WBSim! I'm sorry for this issue.

This works with WB Sim and every other 172 that's default. I would suggest turning Fsrealistic off as it adds sounds that we already have and overlaps.
About to purchase but, does this work with the FR172 REIMS ROCKET / CESSNA R172 HAWK XP II mod?

For the first question, no, and for the second one, I think justflight did a good job on the sounds and it doesn't need a modification :)
You should consider one for the DA40 :)
I might in the farther future. I wanted to fly the NG DA-40 for fun in real life, but we only seemed to have XLS versions (Lycoming engine, not the versions in sim right now.) But keep an eye on the COWS DA-42/40 project for XPlane and MSFS, I'm making sounds for both, although the 40 is only for XP.
Will the sounds work in conjunction with "WB-Sim 172SP Classic Enhancement"? It's also a payware addon for the default C172 that adds to the existing.

No, but that gives me an idea to add it for next time :)
Are you using a mod for the C172 shown at 3:00? The panel has a darker paint on it than the stock C172

Is there a chance you can make a soundtrack for the x-crafts erj family? the default sounds are pretty bad
As of now I don't plan to. Don't have much time to do airliner sounds, those take a while.
Can FSRealistic Pro run concurrently with Boris Sound pack? How does msfs know which sounds pack to use?
fsrealistic makes sounds outside the simulator by itself. I suggest disabling the sounds. it adds all stuff that is already in the aircraft, like all the winds, vibrations, grounds, rattles, etc. We have all of these, so having both will overlap and not sound right.
If you ever make a sound mod for the SWS RV14, I'm buying it the moment it's released.

I made the default FlyByWire A32NX sounds, so what you get when you install it is my work :)

So there was an issue with the previous marketplace update where it didn't work for about half the people, and it was due to a broken file structure... I basically resubmitted the same files to the marketplace to mitigate this. When did you last update? Was it today? I'm going to keep working with my contact but please email me at boris.vanian@gmail.com and I can send you a community folder drag and drop for you!

Lol unfortunately there is no way for me to get DC3 recordings, but I know the guys at Duckworks are doing some awesome free enhancements to the DC3 including some sounds :)

Great! the only thing is that once it passes by the sound is a bit too low
I recorded some flybys and analyzed the volume gradient when it flies over and worked to replicate it. Keep in mind I have to lower the sound as well so it's not crazy loud in the chasecam. I think I did a good job on this

Thanks! I can assure you the pitch is correct in relation to the RPM. Doppler effect increases the faster you go, so it changes that in the flyby. I might not have been going at the proper speeds because I was flying in exterior view lol
@@BorisAudioWorks Alright, It would be cool if you could also make the loud humming as the plane throttles up on the runway before it starts moving, then disappears as it starts moving, like on the kodiak 100 in msfs
I have that to a small extend with the rattle/buzz you hear in the video, but it is not that present on the 152, the kodiak is a completely different prop and sounds very different @@znul
what has been changed by the current update? also with the Sr22?
Latest update fixed the broken installation for a lot of people. The SR22 has a few enhancements to make it work better for SU14. All minor things 👍

Hi, there's been a problem with how the marketplace install is handled - it was adding an extra folder which messes up the install for people. I am working on fixing it and it should be fixed sometime within a week, sorry about the issue!

Yes it's compatible, but I'd suggest disabling the FSR sounds like ground rolls and winds so they don't overlap

Very nice work, but tbh I find the price a bit too much. Should be around 10 euro tax incl.
